Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Trying To Escape

 

However, the man didn't seem to care. He kept running towards somewhere. Meanwhile, Vivi was looking for ideas to escape. Then she remembered the shawl she was still wearing. Vivi immediately removed the shawl from her neck and quickly blocked the man's vision with her shawl. With all her might, she hit the nape of the man's neck.

 

"What are you doing, My Bunny?!" the man lost his balance and stopped in the middle of the alley. At that moment, Vivi took the opportunity to poke both of the man's eyes with her fingers.

 

"It hurts!"

 

Vivi didn't care about the man's screams at all. She immediately broke free when the man carelessly let go of her hand that was supporting Vivi's body when she was carried. Vivi quickly ran away from the man.

 

"I can't get caught anyway!"

 

 

Fortunately, Vivi had not yet left the city. So Vivi still recognized the alleys and roads around her. During the run, there were several things that Vivi questioned. Because she felt that it was not normal.

"How could that person run so fast? His speed was beyond reason, even the people he passed seemed unaware that someone was running past them."

That kind of speed is not something a normal human being can have. Therefore, Vivi was confused whether she was an abnormal human being? Vivi didn't know.

"Ah, what the hell! Now is not the time to think."

After running from alley to alley, Vivi managed to find the highway. She immediately gathered in a crowded place. She chose a cafe on the edge of the highway, where many teenagers were still hanging out.

"Uh, I don't have any money, do I?" she reached into her pants pocket to see if there was any money left.

"Wahh, there was money in my pocket. I am lucky!” Running for a few minutes made Vivi feel thirsty.

At the cafe, she only ordered 2 bottles of mineral water and dessert. Her eyes were distracted by the table in the corner near the window. Since it was the only place available, Vivi couldn't help but sit there before someone else occupied it.

She glanced at the wall clock in the cafe, it was already 10pm. Even so, the atmosphere in this cafe was still very hempy. It looks like a queue of crowded groceries.

Vivi uncapped a bottle of mineral water and gulped down half the bottle. "Why is it still crowded, huh? Even though the others have started to close. " Her eyes were still focused on the crowd of teenagers around her.

"Yes, because of the insiders." A mysterious man answered Vivi's question. In fact, he was sitting right in front of her.

Vivi just nodded and took a sip of his mineral water. Her gaze was still looking at the group of teenagers who were about 15 meters away from her. "Tskckck... the power of insiders. "Vivi, who was still unaware of the man's presence. However, he spontaneously replied to the man's words.

The man smiled at Vivi's reaction which he thought looked ridiculous. "Hey, you seem to be tired. Until you didn't realize there was a human sitting in front of you."

"Oh, really? I feel like-"

Vivi stopped her speech as soon as she saw the appearance of a human sitting in front of her without realizing it. Her brain seemed to be blank so, she just stared straight at the man without saying anything.

"You have a bad signal in your brain, huh?" said the man.

"I think so, I lost the signal."

Vivi's ridiculous answer made the man giggle. This was the first time he met a woman who didn't act pretentious in front of the opposite sex.

"Her innocence is really natural, isn't it?"

"Huh?"

Vivi blinked her eyes, her expression instantly turning into annoyance.

"Who are you, when have you been sitting there? Who let you sit there, huh?"

"I'm the owner of this cafe."

Vivi managed to attract his attention, even to the point of making the man anxious. The man spontaneously pinched Vivi's nose while laughing.

"Hey! What the hell?! Why are you pinching me?!"

"Call me Raegar, I have a name and I've been sitting here since before."

"Don't ask. Who asked for your name?"

"You're asking who I am, that's asking for my identity."

"I don't care." Short, concise, and clear, Vivi averted her eyes.

She was too lazy to talk to a man she didn't know. It reminded her of the madman who tried to kidnap her. Then an employee came to her with her dessert order.

"This is the order, do you have anything to add?"

"Not yet, I'm short on money, sis."

The employee just smiled, then turned to go to another table.

"You're so honest, my little sister."

"Shut up, you baldy! I'm 17 years old. And I'm not your little sister!"

"You're still a kid, I'm older than you."

"You're old," Vivi mocked.

"You little girl." Regar casually replied to Vivi's taunts. This made Vivi run out of ideas and chose to look away.

Raegar, who saw this, laughed mockingly and then called the name of the waitress who was serving another customer.

"Rani! Come here for a moment!"

There was no wait, the waitress named Rani immediately ran up to Raegar and bowed respectfully.

"What's up, boss?"

"Order 2 burgers with the largest size. Then drink 2 mango and tomato juice. Don't take too long."

"Ok, ready!"

Vivi who saw their interaction became curious, because the waitress named Rani called Raegar as 'Boss'.

"Are you the boss here?"

"To be more precise, I own the cafe."

"Oh, I see. What are you doing sitting there?

"Just looking for an atmosphere, it turns out to find interesting things."

Hearing the word 'interesting' made Vivi feel that Raegar was talking about her. But Vivi didn't pay attention to it, she stared at the view from the window. However, there was something odd. Vivi saw the silhouette of a man standing next to a big tree. As if he was watching her.

Her body spontaneously reacted, because the sensation she felt right now was the same sensation, when the crazy man pointed a human organ right in front of her. Her whole body shook with fear. Without realizing it, her tears came out.

Raegar who saw Vivi's strange reaction was both surprised and worried.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Raegar held both of Vivi's hands trying to calm her down.

"Hey, it's okay. You're safe here, no one will do anything bad. There are many bodyguards in disguise here."

"But. That man will definitely come after me. He's a psychopath!"

Vivi's gaze was still on the silhouette of the man outside the window. Raegar followed the direction of Vivi's gaze.

Raegar gritted his teeth. "That guy! Still throwing tantrums."  It seemed that Raegar knew who Vivi was looking at.

"Alright, do you want to go home? I'll take you home."

"No, you're a stranger," Vivi replied firmly.

"Alright, alright. Do you have a brother or sister or your dad to pick you up."

With a tearful expression on her face, Vivi replied, "Oiya, I forgot that I have an older sibling who is working out of town."

Again, Raegar was shocked by her absurd behavior. How could Vivi forget that she has a brother in her family? I don't know what happened to her brain. Raegar just shook his head.

"You, oh my. I can't get over your behavior. Never mind, I'll drop you off later. Don't worry. I'm not a bad person, and I own this cafe. I'm a criminal when I'm just a businessman."

Vivi still didn’t believe Raegar's words. After all, Raegar was a stranger she just met today. So Vivi thought that she should not trust strangers easily.

Seeing Vivi's expression, Raegar knew that Vivi did not believe his words. However, Raegar really sincerely wanted to get Vivi home safely. Moreover, Vivi was alone with no one to accompany her. Plus it's getting late at night, it's not good for a woman to go home alone.

Raegar racked his brain thinking of other ways to deliver Vivi safely.

"Alright, what if I order an online taxi? I'll pay for it, take it easy. " For now that's the only way Raegar can think of.

"Alright then I agree. Really, are you paying?"

"Yes, it's true. Why would I lie. "

Raegar took his cell phone and opened an online  taxi application. Then Raegar handed his cellphone to Vivi.

"Here, type your home address here."

Vivi typed her home address on Raegar's cell phone. After that, Raegar began to click on the words 'Order'. Raegar secretly sent a secret message to one of his trusted bodyguards, to keep Vivi safe during the trip.

"Looks like, I have to send 2 bodyguards to guard her. Because that guy is targeting this girl. Anyway, what's her name?"

Raegar ask, "Hey, you didn't tell me about your name. That's a rude name to know, even though I already told you my name."

"Viviana Luxy Ruselia. Call me Vivi."
