Chapter 37 - How Cal Cal Got To Earth
…
“Your Excellency, please follow me to my dining room. I’ll explain it to you, I’m really puzzled by this and none of my guards seem to know as well.”
Cal Cal suggested to Li Qu and they were just ready to leave when Melian Aelfis spoke out softly,
“Please wait! My Nature Goddess and Estee- Your Excellency, can I please follow? I’m really curious!”.
Cal Cal turned to look at Li Qu and cheekily asked,
“Can my current tribe leader listen as well? Someone as powerful as Your Excellency won’t mind it, right?”
“I do not really care.”
Li Qu seemed to have agreed, he was not scared of any repercussions even if his ‘secrets’ were leaked out, he was strong enough to bulldoze anyone that would try and scheme against him anyway.
Melian Aelfis let out a huge smile and was elated by his words as she bowed.
“Thank you, Your Excellency and My Nature Goddess.”
Melian Aelfis knew that the authority was held by Li Qu as she mentioned his honorific first.
They proceeded to the dining room as they passed by areas with thick green mist permeating everywhere.
“It seems like this young World Tree is doing really well here with not many competitors vying for the energy from corpses.”
Li Qu commented as they were passing by and observed the thickness of the natural energy.
“Your Excellency, that’s indeed true. It has a monopoly over the whole Amizonya Danger Zone. In Green Heaven Realm, there are way too many World Trees! We would have to assign people to feed them Fierce Beast corpses every day!”
The young World Tree on Earth had it really easy, although one would think that they could just plant World Trees throughout all the Realms.
However, there were territories ruled by powerful people that do not accept foreign stuff that would potentially threaten.
The Green Heaven Realm were most commonly known for the home of Elves, that was their territory that they had gained control over millions of years ago after a huge war with the other races and had developed their territory ever since.
World Trees grew by absorbing the energy left behind by corpses, and in turn releasing natural energy for the Elves and spirits of nature to cultivate, establishing a symbiotic relationship with the Elves that would in turn protect it from danger.
Melian Aelfis quietly marveled at the small talks that the two bigshots were having.
They soon reached the dining hall made of beautifully carved wood from the World Tree.
“Melian Aelfis, grab that grape wine that’s stored in a golden clay bottle in that cabinet over there.”
Cal Cal pointed to the cabinet and instructed her.
“Yes, My Nature Goddess.”

Melian Aelfis curtsied in acknowledgement and walked to the cabinet beside the door as Li Qu and Cal Cal sat down on the wooden chairs.
They waited for drinks to be served and soon, Melian Aelfis walked back with a gold clay bottle containing the grape wine in her hand.
The three small clay cups on the wooden table with a plain white cotton tablecloth were quickly filled with the grape wine.
“Oh? This is the Royal Cal Wine from your queendom?”
Li Qu asked with curiosity as he had some flashbacks towards this wine.
“Your Excellency is truly wise! I love our grape wine so I would always carry a lot with me in my storage ring. It was lucky I did because I've been stuck here for more than 500 years already!”
Cal Cal only drank the Royal Cal Wine on special occasions, because there was not a lot of it left, she had to slowly savor it as there was no way to replicate this on Earth.
The ingredients to make the Royal Cal Wine could only be found native to the Cal Queendom.
“You said 500 years? Only? How did you get here?”
Li Qu frowned and asked Cal Cal as he found this to be too bizarre, he tried to look into her Karmic Lines a while before but it seemed like something was still blocking the information.
“Yeah! I was stuck in that space vortex for 1000 years with my guards before that though.”
Melian Aelfis held onto her teacup and listened to the shocking information that was revealed by them quietly as she could not participate in this conversation.
“What did you experience before that?”
Li Qu wanted to know what happened to her that caused her and her guards to be sent here, out of countless realms and places, why did it have to be Earth?
“Well, my Royal Mother heard of a naturally occurring pocket realm somewhere in Star Heaven Realm through an informant, and as you know, every one of those powerful kingdoms and sects from the other Realms sent out their young generations to compete in looting the treasures inside!”
Cal Cal then continued,
“That pocket realm had barred anyone that had a cultivation base over the Origin Immortal, and I was just a peak-stage True Immortal back then, I was sent to explore it along with my personal guards. When we were inside the pocket realm, we fought with some cultivators and were seriously injured, with five of my guards sacrificing their lives to protect me…”
She had a sad look when she got to that part, she took a deep breath and resumed,
“My guards and I escaped with heavy injuries and fled to a secret room that was accidentally triggered and opened. That was our only hope at that point of time, although secret rooms were famously known to be dangerous, it was better than being killed by those cultivator b*stards!”
Cal Cal gnashed her teeth at the thought of those arrogant geniuses.
“When we were all safely inside the secret room, I saw that my guards couldn’t make it without any immediate help from the Royal Healers so I took out my Recall Talisman. It was only for emergency use as it was hard to produce!”
Melian Aelfis was pale as she gripped her teacup, she was angry on behalf of Cal Cal at the cultivators for harming her Nature Goddess. If it were not for Cal Cal and the elders, their tribe would have been decimated by the Bio-Beasts when they were first developing.
“The Recall Talisman needed at least ten minutes to channel energy if there were more people using it. I didn’t have the time to use it when they were chasing us, so when we were temporarily safe, I used it immediately.
When it was about to send us back to the Cal Queendom, a strange inconspicuous rock or pebble started shining with rainbow light! Next thing we knew, we were stuck in that space vortex for at least a thousand years before arriving at an unknown place, which was Earth, approximately five hundred years ago.”
Cal Cal was finished with her explanation and she saw Li Qu’s face getting serious, she got goosebumps as she remembered his reputation back in the Heaven Realms.
