Chapter 65: NOT EDITED YET

The game continued but as one would expect, it was not exactly a good game as it was extremely chaotic

While Azarel and Evren are laidback, just watching the show, their opposing side on the other hand is completely different

Hessy and Liza can be heard shoutijg at each other for like every second that passes

"Spike! Spike it! Don't you know how to do that?"

"Why don't I spike your ugly face?!"

"Damn it, receive the ball, are you an idiot?!"

"How can you be this stupid at playing?!"

"Are your eyes on your feet? Why did you not see the ball?!"

"Stop! Didn't you see that I was about to receive it, why do you have to steal?! Are you a thief?"

"Fuck, your nails almost scratches me!"

In the end, both Liza and Hessy sat on the ground while trying to catch their breath

They might have become more tired arguing and shouting at each other rather than the playing itself

"I don't even know if I enjoyed myself on the game or I enjoyed watching those two fight" Evren muttered with a sigh 

It's like every round, there would be a short break to let their opponents bicker. The game alone certainly wasn't fun because of that

"Well, you're with me, how can it not be fun?" Azarel replied arrogantly, expecting that Evren would act like a highschool teenage girl just like he does when he realizes that he might have feelings for Evren

Azarel is still set on recovering his pride and he does that by making sure that Evren would also do and act in the same way that he does

Unfortunately for him, his expected reaction was not given to him

Instead of getting shy for the thing that the one that Evren 'likes' said, the man just nodded his head seriously 

"Yeah, it certainly is fun to be with you" Evren agreed. Thinking that not only he become a millionaire and lived in a Manor where everything he needs are provided to him, he even can watch Azarel run off his mouth from time to time

Evren has never met a person that can trashtalk as good as Azarel and it was really fun watching it

Azarel's heart almost palpitated, his plan backfiring at himself. How can Evren easily admit something like that to the person that he likes?

Seems like there are more sides of Evren that Azarel has never seen before that he is now looking forward to know

Night time arrives and the group of four people decided to have another barbecue night

In the side of the beach house, Azarel can be seen standing. He was only wearing a beach shirt and short again and because of that, he would sometimes shudder from the cold

However, that didn't last long as someone placed a jacket in his shoulders 

"It's cold at night, why didn't you wear a jacket. What would you do without me?" Evren said with a sigh

He was showing that he could be a competent secretary. He not only would work hard in the office, he could also take care of Azarel personally 

Who would lose out with an assistant like that?

In that, Azarel just smiled. He was already expecting that Evren would do something like this and it was as he expected

"Then always be in my side then" Azarel replied, seemingly in a casual manner but as soon as the words got out from his mouth, he immediately regretted it

How can he say such an embarassing thing? His pride was set aside again to spout such cheesy bullshit!

However, after seeing Evren trying to contain his happiness and excitement, Azarel had a change or mind. He now thinks that his words weren't actually that bad

Azarel enjoyed himself at the feeling of making the man he likes that 'clearly likes him back' experience butterflies in his stomach before he continue staring at the wide sea in front of them

"T-then... for me to be always on your side, you can make me another secretary of yours. I mean, I heard that your secretary earned a really huge amount of money from you" Evren finally spilled his goal

At normal times, Azarel might just raise his brows. Evren? His secretary? How would that even work?

However, since Azarel is quite delusional, he thought that Evren was feeling lonely in the Manor without him

As a result, Azarel chuckled before patting Evren on the head. "Fine, fine, I will make you my secretary and even pay you handsomely"

Hearing that he just got hired, Evren waa brimming with happiness and the childish side of himself met the light again a she tightly hugged Azarel

"Yeyy! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

Evren was full of happiness now. He wants to have a private island or just a beach for himself

If it was just the money on his bank account, he can buy a beach but not as good as the one he is now

Not to mention, it would almost take all of the money he has. But now, if he can work for Azarel and get paid in 'millions' after a few years, not only can he buy a private beach for his personal use. He could also buy another one that he would then open to the public with a fee of course

It would be his source of income in the future!

The more Evren thinks, the more excited he becomes and resulting in a tighter hug

Azarel almost can't breat with how hard Evren was hugging him but since this man was this happy just being given a chance to be with him for a longer time every day, he can only let him

After some time, Evren finally recovered and he excitedly look at his husband

"Hehehehe, thank you, Az!" He gave his gratitude again before taking his phone out of his pocket 

"For that, I have a surprise for you" Evren said and he sent a text

After his message was sent, it did not take that long before they heard a loud sound and everyone unconsciously stared at the skies

Beautiful and enchanting fireworks were sent flying into the skies, illuminating the dark night

If it's just normal fireworks then Azarel might think that Evren was being a bit sweet

However, it wasn't normal fireworks since all of them are in a heart shape

Evren after learning that there are fireworks stored in the beach house decided to surprise Azarel with it to help him secure the secretary job

However, he did not expect Azarel's earlier words causing him to try his luck prematurely 

He can only have a change of plan and use the fireworks after Azarel agreed

'A bit too cheesy for my taste but... okay' Azarel thought 

He was not really the sweety sweet kind of guy and he also don't like cringy stuff such as heart shape fireworks but he still appreciates Evren's effort

To think that his husband would use his own money to buy those fireworks for him warmed his heart since Azarel knew how cheap Evren could be

He didn't know that Evren just had the servants use the fireworks in the beach house. Well, Azarel would not think of that since the beach house don't have heart shape fireworks

This was all because of Liza. She was the one that informed Evren of the fireworks and when the prey was caught in her trap, she changes the fireworks into those heart shape ones

Her romantic side is almost non-existent but since heart is the shape of love, why not use it, right?

"Gosh, what's with those fireworks? So disgusting" Hessy muttered as she stared at the skies

Her words felt particularly insulting to Liza as she was the one that decides to have those kind of fireworks be use

"No wonder that you are single and is in drought. You don't have any romantic side at all" Liza rebutted with a sneer as if she has her romantic side

"I wasn't in a drought!" Hessy clarified with a glare

As a result, Liza stared at her from head to toe before sneering again. "No way in hell that you are not"

"Why? You think that men would only like you? Psh, dream on"

"They don't only like me but I'm certain that the kind of person they don't like is exactly the type of person you are"

"Yeah, that's because I am not easy and men don't like challenges so they settle on the easy ones"
