It was already dark after the recording. After eating, Liang Xincheng went directly back to the hotel room to rest. He did not participate in the entertainment activities organized by other guests.

Feeling bored watching TV shows to pass the time, he was about to turn off the TV at half past ten when someone rang the doorbell. The whole floor had been taken over by the program team, so Liang Xincheng thought it was the staff who came to inform some things. He didn’t think much about it and pulled the door open, only to see it was Wei Xishuang who came.

“The shower in my room is broken, can I borrow yours to take a shower?”

Unexpectedly, Wei Xishuang would make such an awkward request. Looking at his playful smile, Liang Xincheng couldn’t help frowning: “You didn’t ask the hotel staff what’s going on?”

“I did, but they said they can’t fix it until tomorrow. There’s no other way, do me a favor, I’ll just take a quick shower.”

Liang Xincheng was too lazy to say anything else, so he let him in and asked him to make himself comfortable. He went to sit on the couch and continued to watch TV.

Wei Xishuang let out a laugh and went into the bathroom.

A half hour later, he finished his shower and came out wrapped in a loose bathrobe, still not intending to leave. He leaned over and talked to Liang Xincheng: “Just now Teacher Song and the others said they were going to have a drink, why didn’t you go? So much for not giving them face ah?”

Liang Xincheng glanced at him: “You didn’t go either? I don’t know them well, so I don’t want to join in the fun.”

“If you’re not familiar with them, drink a few more glasses and you’ll be familiar. How come you don’t take such a good opportunity to make friends with them”

Liang Xincheng smiled indifferently, and said in his heart that I don’t know you well, and I don’t want to make friends with anyone, but he still maintained a polite face: “It’s late, I want to go to bed, I have to get up early tomorrow to shoot. You also go back to rest.”

“It’s only eleven o’clock, why is it late? Don’t you go to bed so early? Don’t you have any evening entertainment?”

Wei Xishuang’s words became more and more ambiguous, he even stuck to Liang Xincheng’s side. If he pretended he couldn’t tell that Wei Xishuang wanted to flirt with him, he didn’t have to mess around. Standing up, he walked to the door, opened the door vigorously and no longer hesitated to kick the guest out: “Please go back, ba.”

Wei Xishuang smiled awkwardly before walking over and putting his hand on Liang Xincheng’s shoulder: “Don’t be angry, it’s just a joke.”

Liang Xincheng sidestepped and coldly raised his chin to indicate to him to hurry up and get out of the room.

While they were entangled, the door of the room diagonally across the corridor opened, and Xia Yuanhang who had come out of the room, looked at them. Liang Xincheng was taken aback for a moment before he slapped away Wei Xishuang’s hand that was still trying to be on his shoulder.

Ding Yao chased him from the room, yelling: “There is still a box of fruit left. Yuanhang-ge, take it and eat it tomorrow.” Seeing Liang Xincheng and Wei Xishuang standing together, the last word suddenly ended as his eyes widened.

He subconsciously smiled at Liang Xincheng and the other. There was a sense of embarrassment of breaking someone’s secret. Plus, no wonder Ding Yao would think so; he and Xia Yuanhang just had a late-night snack together, but Liang Xincheng and Wei Xishuang were both wearing pajamas and a bathrobe with the belt not even tied. They came out of the same room in the middle of the night while pushing and pulling. It was indeed easy to make people think wrong.

Liang Xincheng didn’t bother to explain and went back into the room and closed the door with force.

Wei Xishuang, who was shut out of the door, shrugged his shoulders indifferently and went back to his room.

“What’s the matter…” Ding Yao muttered in a low voice with an embarrassed face.

Xia Yuanhang reminded him: “Just ignore other people’s affairs, don’t worry about it. I don’t want the fruit, you can take it. When you are full, rest for half an hour before going to bed. I’m going back to my room.”

After saying all that to Ding Yao, Xia Yuanhang turned around and went back to his room. That scene just now was not unexpected for him. In Xia Yuanhang’s perception Liang Xincheng had always been such a person.

Before he started working with Liang Xincheng, he heard his manager mention the ambiguous relationship between Liang Xincheng and the boss of his company. After entering the group, he heard the crew’s cameraman talking about it as if it was a joke in private. Liang Xincheng used to have various rumors of hooking up with people and sleeping all over the set when he was acting in small roles. There might be exaggerations in it, but Liang Xincheng’s open style and chaotic private life were not completely groundless.

In addition, he had seen it with his own eyes. During one of the crew’s dinners, an assistant director at the time used the strength of the wine to take advantage of Liang Xincheng. However, he still greeted the person with a smiling face and did not show disgust. After that, the assistant director was expelled from the crew. It was said that it was instructed by the boss of Liang Xincheng’s company. Later, Xia Yuanhang also saw Liang Xincheng get into their company boss’s car and leave the set in the middle of the night. He was not sent back until the next morning.

There were too many people like Liang Xincheng in this circle. Xia Yuanhang only hoped to keep a respectful distance from him, and it would be best not to have any relationship with him.

The next morning, just after dawn, the official recording began. When Liang Xincheng went out, he met Wei Xishuang again. The other party greeted him generously, as if what happened last night seemed to have never happened. Liang Xincheng ignored him again and left with Liu Sheng, who had just come out of the room.

This whole day was a treasure hunting session. The twelve guests first gathered in the recording hall before drawing lots to get clues, and then followed the prompts given by the clues to go to all corners of the city to find map fragments. They needed to come back every hour to draw lots again. During this period, they were allowed to use various props obtained from yesterday’s game to facilitate the treasure hunt. When all the map fragments were collected to complete a treasure hunt map, the four teams would go together to find the treasure. In this process, they could kill their opponents by fighting. For the team that got the most map fragments, everyone in the team had one more chance of survival than other teams, while the team that finally got the treasure would be the winning team. The rules were not complicated, but it would require brainpower and physical strength to fight. It was really hard to record all day and the program team also would not make it too easy for them.

After the first round of draws, all four teams got the corresponding clues. Liang Xincheng’s team’s clue pointed to a nearby university. Gu Rong smiled and was the first to extend her hand.
The three people in the team folded their hands together and cheered each other on, ready to go with vigor.

Before leaving, Wei Xishuang suddenly stopped them and said that he would use the first prop card; the team-swapping card, and he would exchange it with Liu Sheng.

Liu Sheng was not very talkative; he didn’t even complain about being replaced. Instead, he said to his teammates: “Let’s go together in the next round”, and went to the new team without hesitation. Wei Xishuang smiled proudly at Liang Xincheng. However, Liang Xincheng didn’t bother to pay attention to him, and said directly to the director: “I also want to use a card. What I want to use is a substitution card.”

The functions of the substitution card and the team-swapping card were actually the same, except that the team-swapping card was for yourself, and the substitution card was for someone else. 1

Wei Xishuang obviously didn’t expect Liang Xincheng to have this kind of thing. No one else knew which cards each team had in their hands, and no one could guess what other people’s hole cards were.

Liang Xincheng and his team did not put all the cards together, but each kept the ones they got, so if Liang Xincheng wanted to use the item cards, the other two would have no objection.

After the director nodded in agreement, Liang Xincheng finally gave Wei Xishuang a smile, ignoring his slightly changed expression. He glanced at Xia Yuanhang and Ding Yao, who were standing together discussing what to do for a while and said with a smile: “I want to exchange Wei Xishuang for Xia Yuanhang.”

In case some of y’all found this confusing. Basically, Liu Sheng was in the same group as Xincheng, so Xishuang, who was from another team, swapped himself with Liu Sheng. So now, Xishuang is in the same group as Xincheng And what Xincheng wants to use is, to swap someone else in. Xincheng would still be in this group and someone else will be swapped instead of him.
