Matt: As soon as we accepted the invitation, we were destined for something greater than what is in store for us.
Everyone: ...
Matt: And if you ever get tired, you can always just come to my world. Mine's the most normal so you all can come to rest if you ever need it. After all, everyone needs a break.
Guts: Thank you. I don't know what I'm going to see in my story, but at least I know I have someone to help me.
Uzui: Of course, kid. Just say the word and this awesome guy will help you! HAHAHA!
Ciri: Yes, we are in this together.
Matt: Okay good. Now, if no one has anything urgent they wish to say, I suggest we all go do our own thing. I'm sure you're all excited about your rewards.
Yoruichi: Indeed, I need to get used to my new eyes.
Matt: Alrighty then. I'll see you guys later. Don't hesitate to ask any questions through the group chat or private message.
Amelia: Later guys.
Ciri: Goodbye.
Yoruichi: Bye~
Uzui: YOSH! Talk to you guys later! HAHAHA!
Guts: Goodbye.

'How long have I been talking to everyone? I haven't even had the chance to see if I could notice any changes from the world merge. Not to mention I still need to tell Steve and Andrew about their powers. Also need to see what I'm going to do next about my career.
And start a new training regimen for my telekinesis, the legos have gotten too easy for me. Also, train my nanites and get some inspiration from different fiction. Whew, got a lot to do. I'm kinda tired though, so I'll take a short nap first.'
As soon as I closed my eyes I heard someone calling out to me.
"Mathew honey, are you awake?"
I reluctantly got up to open the door to see my mom standing in front of it.
"Yeah, mom, what's up?"
"Your father and I wanted to talk to you about something. Can you come to the kitchen with me for a minute?"

"Sure." I said following her to the kitchen with a confused look on my face.
'Wonder what this is about?' I thought as we sat down at the kitchen table where my father was already waiting.
"So, what's up you guys?"
"Well, honey your father and I wanted to know if you had any plans now that you're a doctor."
"Uhh, don't tell me you're kicking me out already?"
"Of course not son. You're a medical genius. You can stay as long as you want, there's not much else we could ask of you. Your mother and I just wanted to know what's next for you. We both know you won't sit still for much longer, and we wanted to know how much time we had left with you."
'Oh, they don't want to kick me out. They're just sad their baby bird is ready to leave the nest, permanently.'
"Well, I was thinking about traveling the world for a bit. You know being a wandering doctor and all that. Travel to places with the less fortunate and helping them out there. Traveling to the places with the very fortunate and making some money. All while seeing the world and studying the medicine of various parts of the world."
"That sounds like a good plan. And what about after that, do you have plans to stay in one place?" said mom clearly trying to find out if I intend to stay in Seattle.
"Maybe eventually I will settle down in one place, but I think I want to open my own hospital. Or at the very least my own clinic. As to the where of it all, I'm thinking New York or Tokyo. Somewhere with lots of people. I want to meet people from all walks of life."
'Not to mention most tv shows take place in New York or at the very least have a New York episode. As for Tokyo, well that's obvious.'
"Oh, that's good. I'm glad you have a plan already honey. But remember, life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while you'll miss it. I know you're very talented and passionate about being a doctor, but I don't want it to be your whole life." mom replied clearly a little downtrodden at the idea of me not settling down in Seattle.
"She's right son. We're unbelievably proud of what you've done, and we couldn't ask more from you. But you also need to stop and smell the roses. Life is more than work. Remember work to live, not live to work. No matter what happens from here on, remember your mom and I couldn't be prouder."
I was hit with a small wave of emotions. Supportive parents really are the best.
"Uhh ahem, thank you. Both of you. For being supportive of my decisions. I know I robbed you of a child to take care of, but thank you. And mom, if I move to New York you can visit me anytime. If not I'll come see you guys." I said having to clear my voice due to my emotions.
"Oh honey come here." mom said as she stood up to hug me.
"We've never felt robbed honey. Was it a little hard at times knowing your son probably didn't need his mom to survive, yes. But we've felt so lucky to have you as a child. Because we know you're going to do great things with your life."
I tightened the embrace on my mom and said "Thanks."

I awoke in a daze a few hours after my talk with my parents. The emotions ran a little high and so I decided to sleep instead of nap. Checking my phone for the time, I saw it wasn't long till sunrise. I still needed to do the things I said I would yesterday, so I decided to have an early start to the day.
After a shower, I decided it was finally time to try to fly.
