After leaving the warehouse where the match took place, we were on our way to the hotel when Hayasaka-san's phone rang.
"Hello. I see. I will inform him. Goodbye." he said before hanging up.
"What happened Masato?"
"Kaguya-sama has fallen ill. Ai says it's more than likely a cold."
"Hmm, would you mind taking a look at her, Sensei? I wish to be cautious." asked the geezer.
"Of course, Shinomiya-san."
"Good. Masato."
"Hai, Shinomiya-sama." he replied before changing direction.

After a 30-minute drive, we were coming up to a very beautiful mansion that was very Western as opposed to the Japanese-style villas we passed on the way here.
"Does your daughter live here all by herself?" I asked as we entered the premises.
"Masato's daughter lives here as well as a whole slew of staff."
"Seems lonely."
"Those at the top often are. To give up some things to achieve others is only natural. Unfortunately, life is not fair." he said in a reminiscing tone.
"Shinomiya-sama, I've received word that you are needed at HQ." said Hayasaka-san, snapping the geezer out of his thoughts.
"Okay. Garetty-sensei, please treat my daughter and a car will be waiting once you are done to take you back to your suite."
"Of course." I said, getting out of the car before it drove away.
"Are you Garetty-sensei?" asked someone in heavily-accented English.
Turning around to see who called me I saw a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl wearing a maid outfit.
"Please, call me Matt. I don't think I'm that much older than you." I said in Japanese, sticking my hand out for a handshake to which she just looked at it for a bit before clumsily shaking my hand.
"Well then, shall we?" I asked, before she turned around and started walking in.
"Are you really a doctor?" she asked as we made our way through the manor which much like the outside was very Western inside.
"Glioblastoma, warfarin-induced skin necrosis, leprosy. Pretty impressive right?" I joked while she turned around to give me the side-eye while she kept walking forward.
"Tough crowd. Anyways, when did she start feeling sick, what are her symptoms, and what's her temperature?"
"She started feeling sick early in the morning, but I gave her some peppermint tea to soothe her. She has a runny nose, dry cough, sneezing, fever, and headache. Her temperature is 37.7 ℃ and holding. I put a damp towel on her forehead to cool the fever, but it hasn't done much."
"Good job. It seems like a low-grade fever as far as I can tell, but I'll know more once I see her for myself."
"We're here. Please wait a moment while I check to see if she is decent." she said before entering the bedroom, disappearing for a few moments, and then coming back out.
"She is ready." she said opening the door for me to go in.
"Kaguya-sama this is Garetty-sensei. He is a doctor that was brought here by your father to check on you." said Hayasaka-san to her.
"O-okay. N-nice to meet y-you." she whispered, worn out from the fever.
"Nice to meet you, Shinomiya-san. If you could sit up for me please, Shinomiya-san. I promise to be quick." I said as I approached the bed.
"O-of course." she said while struggling to sit up.
"Allow me." said Hayasaka as she put her arms around Kaguaya to help her sit up. But because of the fever, Kaguya was too tired to keep her head up and ended up putting her head on Hayasaka's shoulder.
"I'll hold her while you do the examination, sensei."
"Okay." I said while grabbing the thermometer that was on the end table before measuring her temperature which showed it had increased a little but not enough to worry.
"Lift her hair for me, please." I asked Hayasaka.
"Swollen lymph nodes. It's the flu. She'll be fine after some bed rest and plenty of fluids. If she feels uncomfortable, then some decongestion medicine, as well as throat lozenges, will help. You can lay her back down now." I said before she put her back down, and put the damp towel back on her forehead. But just to be sure, I activated Perspective Minimum and found no weaknesses besides some around her respiratory system which is to be expected from the flu.
"Are you sure?"
"As long as things don't change, yes. Like I said bed rest and plenty of fluids and she'll be right as rain."
"Thank you."

"No problem."
"Follow me, the car is waiting for you." she said as we started making our way back.
"You should tell her not to worry about the future so much. Or at least to make friends who can help alleviate her burdens."
"Why do you say that?"
"A child born into one of the wealthiest families in the world has to have some pressure on them. Especially when they put that pressure on themselves. That type of pressure is easy to collapse under."
"I will take it under advisement." she replied.
DING DONG
"Oh, it seems you have a visitor."
"One moment." she said before taking out a tablet from out of nowhere and looking at it before pressing it.
"Kaguya-sama has friends, just not many. And she puts that pressure on herself to make herself better. Because she has to be the best."
"Mm." I said as we reached the entrance and went outside.
"Ah, a maid?" I heard someone say and looking in the direction of where the voice came it was Miyuki Shirogane, the male protagonist of the series.
'Oh, it seems I'm smack dab in the middle of the story. Well, nothing should happen anyways.'
"Excuse me one moment." she said to him before turning to me, "Thank you once again for checking on her, sensei." she said slightly bowing.
"Like I said, not a problem. Just remember my advice. I'll be going now." I said entering the car that was waiting.
~~
"Finally, we're done." I said as I put my head down on the table.
"Yes, Garetty-sama. We've managed to get through the whole thing in two days. Good job." said Masato.
After checking up on Kaguya and being dropped off at the hotel, the geezer called to tell me that he had told Masato about my ownership of the Zaibatsu and how he was on the way over to get me up to speed with the company.
Once he got to my suit, he apologized for not using the correct honorifics, which I told him was no big deal considering it was a secret. He then told me to call him Masato while I told him to call me Matt, which he refused to do. Anyways, after that, we got to him catching me up on everything, and that had taken a whole two days.
I'm good with studying and getting lost in reading papers and things of that nature, but two days nonstop of learning things that weren't all that interesting to me was hard. But I got through it and once I cement the information in my mind, I'll never forget which is very helpful in business matters.
"Are you sure you don't wish for my daughter to be your secretary, Garetty-sama?" asked Masato for what seemed like the millionth time.
"I already told you I'm fine. Just text or email me important updates once a day and I'll be okay."
"Very well. If there is nothing else, I will take my leave."
"Actually, there is something I need your help with."
"Please, whatever it may be."
"There's a company I'm interested in called Riot Games based out of California. They're the creators of a game called League of Legends, have you heard of it?"
"Yes. We have PC cafes and noticed a spike in players playing that game recently, but it wasn't enough to garner any interest."
"Mm, but I have a gut feeling that this game will become something much more in the future. So much more that it will dominate the global market for video games. And I want to buy the company, or at least have majority shares in it before someone else realizes the same thing."
"Of course. I will get our people to create a full report on it as soon as possible."
"Good. I also need to create a company in America that it will be under and that I will use for future endeavors."
"I will look into the best law firms in New York City for you."
"Great, thank you so much, Masato. You've been a great help." I said to him as I stood up to shake his hand.
"It's my pleasure, Garetty-sama. Please call me when you wish to go back to New York, Garetty-sama." he replied, shaking my hand briefly before bowing and leaving.
"What should I do now? Explore Tokyo? Doing it alone is kinda boring so maybe not. But, I've always heard in my past life that the nightlife in Tokyo is on another level. Eh, why not? Let's go experience Tokyo."

I hadn't realized until I searched it up that Tencent bought League pretty early on, for some reason I thought they bought it in like 2015. Anyways, in this world, Tencent hasn't bought it yet but they are in talks to. I didn't want to make it hassle-free because I could use it as a potential plot point.
