Well I won't be writing much here aside from weapon and manual rank, also ill write some basics about how strength will work through the series. Also, you may have noticed I'm using the martial art grading system from Korean martial art novels … and yes I'm using it cuz I'm just a fan of that, oh, and it saves me some effort.

Weapons: Weapons are divided in the usual F-S class scale, exceptions can occur to this in cases of artifacts.

Martial arts: martial arts are divided on a 1-5 star scale, with 1 being the weakest and 5 the strongest. The strength of a user of a martial art can vary on their stage of mastery. The stages go from 10-1, with 10 being novice grade and 1 being completely mastered. It is possible to improve the number of stars a martial art has if one uses their own knowledge to alter the art.

Now that those two things are out of the way, I will begin explaining how ranks work for hunters, martial artists, and mages.

Martial artist are divided based on the strength and control over their art, and mana. The rankings are as follows:

1)Novice martial artist: new to martial arts

2)Beginner martial artist: can use martial arts to a basic degree

3)Intermediate martial artist: has a better understanding of their weapon/body and can form a mana cloud around their weapon

4)expert: can use weapon QI. Qi is a condensed form of mana unique to martial artists.

5)Master: can use weapon aura. A denser much more compact and stronger form of weapon QI that one can only achieve after infusing their experiences into their weapon QI.

6)Peak : an individual who has reached the peak of their human body.

7)Transcendent: an individual who has gone past their human limits is a transcendent.

8)Saint: saint and transcendent are not too different in terms of strength. They are different in that transcendence is achieved via strengthening one's aura and QI, while becoming a saint is a result of mastering a weapon to t.

Note: saints and transcendent are very, very rare, only a hand full have ever reached such a stage.

Mages: Mages use a much simpler way of dividing the stages. They use a star system, where the more stars one has the stronger they become. The grading system goes from 1-9?, with 1 blend the weakest and 9 being the strongest. The number of stars one has directly equates to the amount of mana thy can store. Do note that each person has a different amount of mana they can store for one star. The stars mainly allow magicians to use higher tier magic, i.e., from 1 star magic to 9 star magic. A magician can not use higher tier magic unless they have the number of stars required to use it. For example: a 5-star magician can not use a 6-star spell even if they have enough mana to use it.

Do note that there is no equivalence between mage ranks and martial artist ranks as they are two entirely different ranking systems, so one can not equate a 1-star magician to a novice martial artist as that would be incorrect.

Hunters: hunters use a simple F-SSS ranking system, and the system is completely arbitrary and has nothing to do with strength, but rather it judges the amount of monsters an individual has killed and how high of a quest they can take. A hunter can be a mage or a martial artist.
