“Ha!” Mocking himself, Philip drops to his knees at the cruel revelation. “Ha! Hahahaha!”

There is a bigger universe out there, he knows it. He is a mage after all who is accumulating and learning so much of the truth of the world. But the memories he was seeing in the summoned soul in his son’s body are on a different level. It is pure madness!

“You are a singularity! Yes, that is what you are! An existence beyond the level of devils! You are a destiny breaker, a superior being! Yes, that must be what you are. Hahaha, looks like the records I have read through are incomplete. They speak of your world as some kind of an imitation of heaven, but no, it must be a real paradise out there, isn’t it!? After all, you lot are gods! In your eyes, this world is just a piece of entertainment, right?”

Philip feels like he just made the best decision of his life to the point he is almost envious of his son who now must be traveling in the void. “Damn, that son of mine is lucky. Hehehe~ it is not like I am not happy for him, but damn! Anime? Che~ such a fancy term.”

The mad Jester starts tapping his shoes in an anxious rhythm~ tap, tap, ta-p~

Philip with a relieved smile announces in great vigor, “This is great! I shall make you the vessel of my ambition! The Wizard King! The pinnacle of Clover Kingdom, you will become it! After that, the master of the continent. And after that, God of this world!”

Even madmen had ambitions. Philip who was but a pawn sees a path for his once-dead ambition— to raise the name of ‘Jester’ in the world. It is an ambition that the crook once was using as an advantage for herself.

In due time, the crook was able to kill this ambition by making Philip subservient and sedated with her manipulative love. However, that’s not the case now for Philip. Madmen see things from their own very unique perspectives. For Philip, what he only has eyes, for now, are things that will make the crook regret the things she did.

Philip is writing a revenge story! The villain in this story is the crook and the hero is his son. How amazing would that be? Though it is not his real son, the fact that it is his son’s name and flesh matters. This is also a kind of redemption for him as a failure of a father.

Exactly at that moment, the singularity opens his eyes. “Where am I? Where is t-his place? What is happening?” Fear and panic are spreading to his face. There is paranoia and… a bit of curiosity.

“Wait, maaan,” The singularity suddenly starts speaking in a strange way, relaxed, too relaxed. “Is this that development? Neet reincarnates into another world or something. Or maybe this is just plain kidnapping? Hmmm... That would be too weird, because it looks like my kidnapper is a cosplayer, huh?”

The singularity’s ability to adapt to his new surrounding is too much. Philip is starting to think how lowly of an ant he is. While he sees the soul in front of him as godlike, Philip feels no fear for whatever reason.

“Hey,” Philip’s tone is dangerous, he is riled and on the edge. “Are you a god?”

The singularity doesn’t understand what his kidnapper is thinking. “What? Excuse me? Are you on drugs?”

Philip draws the steel sword from his waist and stabs the singularity’s thigh. The singularity cries in pain. “A-ack, ouch! Damn it! That fucking hurts.”

All sorts of ridiculous experiments then ensue. Feeding the singularity all kinds of medicine, sending various kinds of energy, and even playing with the subject’s mind through illusions. The madness won’t stop. “I’d love to perform more experiments, but it looks like the time has come. The crook must be already on my tail by now.”

Philip smiles warmheartedly at the tortured singularity. “I have learned so much about you in the short half a year we are together. Your magic attribute is incredibly special.”

The silent singularity didn’t speak. The ridiculousness of the experiments he was enduring made his mind very fragile. Slightly laughing at his own misfortune, the singularity raises his head defiantly looking back at Philip.

Philip receives the singularity’s gaze. “This is what is going to happen.” With a single gesture, Philip extracts an iridescent orb of grey from his temple. “This orb here contains all of my memories pertaining to my techniques be it theories, casting, and all sorts of information that might be of help to you. I will bestow these memories on you.”

The singularity in his futile attempt to fight back keeps on struggling. His bloody wrists become bloodier because of the chains. “Fuck you, I don’t need your memories.”

Philip didn’t mind the cussing, and just calmly proceeds his way. “After bestowing you this orb of memories, I will then feed you with this potion to recover and improve your vitality.” From his sleeves, Philips grabs a bottle of potion.

“That’s not all,” Philip without a change of his eerie warmhearted smile smashes the orb of memories to the singularity’s forehead. “After all of this is done, I will then seal your memories of the past 6 months we have been together!” Philip then forcefully feeds the potion healing the singularity’s all kinds of wounds.

Using his memory magic, Philip successfully seals the memories of the singularity. “The day that you will realize the malice of Sabrina Crook will be the day you’d awaken these memories. That woman will definitely make use of you as she did to me. By the time you are already a person she believes could be easily controlled will be the time you shall awaken.”

Philip Jester was screaming at the top of his lungs. “SINGULARITY!! I SUMMONED A SINGULARITY! MY SON! NOT MY SON!” The already madman suddenly becomes hysterical, rabid and without control, his son wakes up with a renewed mind. “SON, BECOME A GOD FOR THE SAKE OF THIS WORLD!”

~~~
I just had a ridiculous dream. I open my eyes only to see the concrete ceiling above me. “That Philip Jester really fucked me bad. No wonder, it feels abnormal that I was able to escape that dungeon.”
Memories worth half a year make space inside my head. I was sweating in pain and was pale as a ghost. Rather than a dream, that feels more like a nightmare. It is terrible. “But seriously, a god?”
