I am not one to shy away from hitting girls. With the deadly broom in my right hand and my pinky-sized grimoire enclosed in my left hand, I join the fray.
Intercepting the scythe-wielding lady with my broom is easy peasy. The lady with the sword though is threatening. I sense her presence rapidly approaching me from my flank. Luckily, I have the little lion to cover for me.
The little cub rapidly enlarges into its glorious majestic form, its mane dancing in the air.
I open my left palm revealing a pinky-sized grimoire, and with a word, I unleash the strongest magic in my arsenal.
SINGULARITY MAGIC: GRAVITY SINGULARITY!
The compressed form of gravity instantaneously appears and bursts into existence. While the range is deadly and might cause friendly fire, I am confident enough that it wouldn’t harm me.
The Lion was able to buy me a little bit of time from the sword-wielding lady in casting this devastating magic. Immediately after, I turn around, hug Mereoleona in my arms and use my bits of singularity mana to apply mana skin to the soles of our feet.
The moment the weirdly bizarre mana makes its presence known, the Lion immediately digs its claws deep into the ground aware of my singularity magic’s fearsome effects.
The yandere lady who almost succeeded in offing my lovely Mereoleona is the first to go on. She doesn’t even realize her impending doom. She just suddenly felt a tugging force of irresistible nature pulling her towards the small cluster of mana.
And then… she died…
Sophia’s limbs contort in various angles as gravity makes a mess of her. Her brother, who was in a semi-mud state watches in horror as his sister was reduced to a bloody pile.
The sucking force of gravity is irresistible. Even Joseph who was soaking in his own magic’s mana in mud-state feels his weight being pulled to where the magic is from. Already made aware of its destructiveness, Joseph struggles to set himself free from the pulling force.
He sees his superior, Joan, nonchalantly withstanding the gravity. “He-help!” He cries. Joan summons a shield made of her pure steel mana and uses it to bash the source of the Gravity Singularity.
The result was gory visual. With their companion already in the blender and being made into a fleshy and bloody smoothie, Joan’s act itself causes red to splatter in the surroundings.
Joan has a grim look on her face. She retrieves her remaining companion, Joseph to her side.
A tense atmosphere manifests between us two groups. I leave Mereoleona to her own device and playfully look at the bunch of nobodies who are suddenly appearing here in the Witches’ Forest.
“What the hell? What the hell is a bunch of nobodies doing here?”
“Nobodies?” Joan’s cold tone reaches my ears loud and clear. “We are from Camelot, Cross Empire, the hidden continent… We are the apostle knights in servitude of our great god!” As she announces the place where she comes from, I feel this pride strongly emanating from her voice.

I don’t know about Cross Empire, Camelot, or whatnot. If this world is fanfic, there is too much original content already.
But to me, at least to my eyes, this is the real world. I am troubled enough by the existence known as ‘otherworlders’, and now, I have this?
I am a person with lots of complaint issues, but I am a sensible person too.
“Why are you even here?” I derisively dive into the heart of the matter.
With poison in my tongue, I target her weakness. “As you said, you are from another continent. That makes your presence here suspicious. What you are doing is essentially a hostile takeover. It is only right for us to defend. I get it that you are angry since I killed your companion. But you are invading our lands.”
I persist, not letting the woman in front of me speak. “I don’t care for what purpose you have come here, but this continent doesn’t welcome you. Three of your companions are already locked in battle with mine. While I suck at mana sensitivity, I am not blind. I see that you at least are in the captain class. Your companions aren’t to be trifled with too. But you saw what I was capable of, didn’t you?”
At my painfully implicit question, I smugly look down on her. “I just freaking killed one of your own in the blink of an eye~ easy peasy lemon squeezy! Captain-class? That means nothing to me.” I boast to her with a playful tune. truthfully though, that was an empty boast. I have nothing in my tank.
Joan audibly grits her teeth. “I am Joan the Arc, the 4th apostle. I swear, I will be the death of you! You clearly are not from this place, you are as much an intruder as us, so don’t get too ahead of yourself. Do you think you have the moral high ground?”
I can feel this Joan person’s mana stirring with great currents. “We, the apostles work for a noble purpose, we work for god!”
A brilliant armor of gold envelops Joan’s body. She is too eager to fight, she didn’t notice someone on her side.
“Joan, stop this.”
At the calling of the voice, Joan looks over only to see her team leader, Christopher holding her shoulders down.
Christopher quickly offers an explanation. “We have cut a deal with the Witch Queen. For now, we retreat.”
“Why?” There is anger in Joan’s eyes.
“Joan,” Christopher softly calls to her. “Devil Astaroth is missing. The Witch Queen has confirmed the worst of our fears. The blasted devil might have found its way to the mortal plane already at this point. This continent is a ticking time bomb. We must not extend our forces too much. We have devils of our own to take care of back home too.”
“…” Cold silence pervades the area.
I watch the two’s conversation with great interest.
