It was a long meeting so the middle aged man was relieved to be home. But it wasn't time to relax just yet. There were still plans and forms to look over. As he removed his shoes at the door, his wife greeted him. The kind faced woman took his brief case and followed him to his study. She updated him on their son and other family matters before placing his briefcase beside his desk. If he was listening one couldn't be sure. He was a serious and quiet man. The wife took his coat and left him to his work. He searched his mail, opening envelope after envelope. But he reached one that looked strange. It had no return address. Curious, he opened it. The paper had very few words typed onto it. It wasn't good.

You stole from me. It's my turn.

The bully barely had time to react. But before my fist had a chance to land, people had jumped in between me and the group of troublemakers. Seokjin, Hoseok, Jimin and two other teachers separated us.

I didn't really register what everyone was saying. I imagine some were appalled at me, some were concerned with Seokjin's shoulder, and others were reprimanding Namjoon and his goons. But it was all merely muffled sounds as I was much too occupied with the silent loathing Namjoon and I shared.

I managed the hardest, most stubborn glare I could. Namjoon did the same, but there was something there besides anger. I didn't know what it was exactly but I didn't dare look away. I was too prideful for that.

After what seemed like hours, the gang of no-gooders were finally escorted off the ice. Though I wish the fourth suspect hadn't ran away before the teachers came. Coward. Hoseok assisted Jimin in taking Seokjin to the staff's office for medical attention. I felt terrible for him. He saved me back there. That could've been my shoulder that was dislocated.

I headed out of the rink to wait for any news of Seokjin. I couldn't continue skating and enjoying myself knowing that he got hurt for my sake.

I wandered around the lobby area as I waited. There I saw a separate room. The arcade. I hadn't been here in a while so I wondered if they had new games. It wouldn't hurt to take a look while I waited.

I entered the dim room lined with multi-colored LED lights. I passed game after game, hearing the different songs and sound effects from each. Some were new, but most had been here for years. I tarried by the claw game someone was playing. I had the worst luck with them. But apparently the boy playing it was successful in acquiring a stuffed tiger for his girlfriend. Seems like arcades were a common place to find couples.

Around the corner of the room there was another couple playing air hockey. Their excitement getting more and more energetic. Walking further down, I got close to the last corner that lead back to the entrance. Just before I got there, I heard a commotion behind me. When I looked back I saw the air hockey couple chasing after the puck that must've been hit off the table by accident. The yellow disc rolled toward me. I stepped toward it quickly and stomped on in, stopping it in its tracks.

I picked it up and handed it back. The two gave their embarrassed thanks and returned to their game. I smiled lightly at their excitement over something so small. Watching them reminded me of Seokjin. Though, I'm unsure why. Funny how couples can make you miss someone that isn't yours. I sighed.

It's been long enough. He should be out by now. After all there wasn't much to do about a dislocated shoulder but to pop it back in and maybe sling it up, right? I needed to thank him properly. After what happened I was too worried about his injury that I forgot to thank him. Okay!

With a nod I turned with vigor-

THUMP!

"Ah!" I walked into someone. I blinked up at him, "Sorr-"

My stomach twisted for the second time today. Seeing Yoongi in front of me, his piercing eyes peering back at me. The images of his silent, cold gazes today replayed in my head. I thought I may have seen a hint of surprise on his face but I doubted it. We both stood as though frozen before I finally came to my senses enough to walk around him.

As I walked away in a huff something I assumed was the feeling of satisfying dignity washed over me.

Until something jerked my neck back. "Ugh-! Hey!" I lost my balance and ended up stumbling into his chest. I looked to see Yoongi holding on to the hood of my jacket. "What's your problem?!" I tried to pull away.

Not even my struggling could disarray that blank, indifferent look on his face. He simply kept hold of my jacket and walked me away from the exit as if I were a dog on a leash. How humiliating!

"Hey! What are you doing?!" I yelled. It was unclear where he was taking me.

I wasn't sure how much could be heard by other players since all the games had their own music playing. I just hoped someone would step in soon. There was no way of telling how one deals with Yoongi. Although cold like his friends, he was still different from them. He almost never spoke. Ever. With the others, one could gauge their personalities, likes, and weaknesses. But Yoongi was a dark enigma. And that's what made him scarier than the rest. What happens in that mind of his? Where does he go, what does he do, where has he been, what has he done? No one knew. I'm not sure his friends even knew.

So what exactly does he want with me? Was he getting revenge? Maybe he blamed me for getting his friends kicked out. It seemed a likely possibility. My heart raced, reviewing what I new about self defense. It's been a while since I took classes but it was all I had right now.

He stopped next to one of the arcade games. It was a zombie shooter game where the players sit in a car like setting with two handed guns in front of them. There were people in there. The black haired mystery popped his head in the cab, startling the people in it.

"Get out," he gestured the command with his head.

They were students in our grade so they knew full well who he was. They obeyed immediately. I cringed to myself, feeling embarrassed at his rudeness. "You seriously kicked people out in the middle of their game."

"Sit," he lead me by my hood still until we were both sitting side by side. Yoongi finally let go of me and got out coins from his pocket.

I stared in unbelief. "What are you doing?"

Without looking at me he began to explain while inserting coins into both guns, "I got too many coins, I need to use them all or it'll go to waste. Try not to die." The low tone of his voice caught me by surprise. He's never said this much to me before.

My face was stuck in its phase of unbelief. The game started but I didn't care. He made no sense at all. "Yoongi-shi." He ignored me, seemingly focused on shooting. Even when he's concentrating he looked absolutely bored. Which contributed to the air of deception this whole situation had.

"Ya! Min Yoongi!" I yelled. I'm not sure why I did it. There was no telling how he'd respond since I knew nothing about the patterns of his behavior. But perhaps that's why I risked it. To find out. The strange boy froze for a second before looking at me.

"What. Are. You. Doing?"

Yoongi sighed and leaned back in his seat, propping one foot on the dashboard. The sound of alarms and zombies blared through the speakers of the booth we were sitting in until it was game over.

"I told you already," he challenged with his eyes, which seemed to leave a greater chill in the air. I hated them. They were so calm and uncaring about everything. While others like me suffer anxiety being the object of focus for eyes like his. My entire body was tense simply by being in his presence. When on the other hand looking at me was nothing to him.

"You know what I'm talking about. What are you playing at? Are your friends gonna show up to get revenge on me or someth-?"

"They're not gonna touch you." His eyes shakily darted elsewhere.

I paused for a moment. There was something odd about his response. He almost seemed annoyed. Is he perturbed by my questions? Why was he looking away now as opposed to before? Was he lying? He then let out a silent but deep sigh.

"You shouldn't have swung at him." Yoongi's eyes went distant. Something else showed in his eyes, I hadn't seen before. He looked very...tired.

I thought a bit then blinked at him realizing, "you saw that."

"Yurim-ah!" My ears twitched at the sound of Hoseok's voice. I peaked out the opening. He was looking for me.

Before I could call him over, Yoongi grabbed my hand and pulled me back in with him. I gasped at the sudden tug, fearing he'd get violent for thinking I was trying to escape. But he just looked at me in the eyes, intently.

"Lee Yurim..." Yoongi said this time. There was a strange feeling that came when he said my name. I've never heard it said in his voice before. In fact, I didn't know he knew my name. This was the first time we've ever talked really. And maybe it was just my imagination, but his voice... No. I must've imagined it. "Don't go anywhere alone. Got it?"

I narrowed my eyes, "what do you-"

"Yurim-ah! So this is where you were! I thought Namjoon might've taken-" Hoseok finally recognized Yoongi next to me who let go of my hand. He then looked at me concerned, "are you okay?"

I nodded.

"No." Yoongi answered as if he was asked. "She just wasted four of my tokens," Yoongi says nonchalantly before hopping out. Hoseok and I only stared after him with puzzled looks.

A breath that I didn't know I was holding burst out of me. What the hell? My hands were shaking. What did he mean, 'don't go anywhere alone?' Was that a threat? A warning? What did he know that I didn't?

I clutched my stomach, the bile there churned. Threatening to get out. Something felt seriously wrong.

Like something was going to happen. Something bad.

And soon.
