Demela’s forehead became tense. He understood now why Robbie was making such a fuss.

Demela was well aware of Robbie’s obsession with the emperor to the point that it was almost like an illness. If it was Robbie, he would have tried to chase Annie out by any means possible.

The recent change in his attitude, where Robbie takes care of Annie, is questionable, but that hypothesis was the most likely one.

‘…….is it good?’

Demela’s feelings as he looked at Annie, who repeatedly said that she was really okay, was very complicated.

Considering the country and the emperor, it is a definite honor, but if she marries, she will become an empress, so she could not work like she does now.

He thought he had gone too far, so Demela let out a little sigh. Yes, surely Annie is a good girl, so the Emperor couldn’t have left her alone.

“Dsev. Your tenure is at least one year.”

“Yes, I know.”

Annie was puzzled by Demela mentioning the confirmed fact, but she answered meekly.

He’s not the kind of person to gossip like Fizz. There must be some reason to bring up this story.

As she expected, Demela added.

“However, I have plans to visit Yulfbe next year, so I want to extend the contract in advance.”

‘Have he already made plans for next year?’

Annie looked a little surprised. Of course, Demela is on the strict side, but this was pretty early.

‘There’s nothing wrong, but…….’

In response to her silence, Demela brought a piece of paper as well. It was kind of a quick walk.

Annie stared blankly at the contract on her desk. Then Demela’s tense voice was heard.

“The terms of the contract will be tailored to you.”

She is also happy to be working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs like this, and she was grateful.

After hesitating for a moment, Annie pulled out the pen.

Sitting on the wooden bench, Ejed’s shoulders stiffened. He put his hands up for nothing, arranged his hair, and took a deep breath.

He could hardly sleep on the day Annie gave her consent to have a relationship he had dreamed of with her.

He was also gripped by a frightening fear that this moment might have been a dream that he will wake up from.

As his heart raced to the point where his stomach ached, Ejed let out a heavy sigh. Still, he cleared his mind.

First he will go to a restaurant where they cook Annie’s favorite dishes. He made thorough preparations enough to visit the restaurant in advance to check the atmosphere and location.

He had no desire to ruin the long-awaited first date. He recalled everything about dating and what to watch out for.

Of course, Annie is a good woman who will take care of all of the things, but he only wanted to show her his good side.

If possible, even with his good side, he had already shown Annie his pathetic side several times.

Ejede raised his head, nervously fiddling with his hand. The light sky was full of clouds that puffed up like his heart.

It was such wonderful weather, Ejed smiled. It may not seem like much, but he was very satisfied.

It’s because of Annie who doesn’t like rainy days. She especially hated rainy days.

This is because lifting an umbrella is cumbersome, and the feeling of getting water in her shoes is not very pleasant.

In fact, Ejed enjoyed the moment he got to work while listening to the sound of rain, but after he got to know Annie, he hoped it wouldn’t rain. It will make her uncomfortable.

If possible, he wished that the world would be filled with the things Annie liked. It was also his very earnest wish.

As he lifted his head, he saw Annie approaching, awkwardly greeting him. Ejed got up quickly.

“Have you been waiting a long time?”

“Did you have a hard time coming?”

The two people who asked the question almost at the same time looked at each other blankly. It took them a while to realize that each of them had said something very stupid.

What does it mean by waiting a long time? No, it wouldn’t have been difficult to come.

Realizing this at the same time, the two of them burst into light laughter. Still, they glanced at each other with awkward faces.

“I didn’t wait very long. I’ve been waiting for a while.”

When Ejed played a cute prank, Annie almost burst into laughter again without realizing it.

Even that wasn’t enough, so somehow the corners of her lips kept curling up. Clearing her throat, she smirked.

“Me too, It was very safe and comfortable on my way here. The imperial road was so flat and nice.”

“Yes, that’s a relief.”

Heat slowly rose on Annie’s cheeks as Ejed responded with sincere and gladness.

She didn’t know it well, but Ejed seems to have a talent for making people shy.

Wouldn’t it be very embarrassing if such a handsome man looked at her with a friendly gaze without blinking once?

As she thought about it, something completely covered her hand. Hard but warm and cozy to the touch.

“Let’s go.”

Annie nodded slightly with her bowed head down.

As a signal, Ejed headed forward. With a small stride, and a happy gait.
