Noan Leta collected the residues together with his fingers, took out a knife from his pocket, and carefully scraped the residues into a small white-colored jade bottle that was carried closely with him.
Qian Jin shook his head and sighed repeatedly. Though this sham pharmacist was terrible at making potions, he was after all comparatively assiduous, and thus wasn’t completely beyond hope.
“Where is the patient?”
Another voice full of loftiness came from outside the door and then here walked in a pharmacist in robe. He was also of medium build, yet his brows and hair were golden-colored. The two slanted brows had drooped to the corner of the eyes, making him look like he lacked vigor.
“Mr. Snay Rouse.” Pam Honxuan moved aside and left Duren Burg’s bed.
“Eh? Who bandaged him?” The slanted brows of Snay Rouse seemed more drooping as they were cramping. “Why was the patient allowed to be bandaged without my diagnosis first? Noan Leta, you are after all a pharmacist, how can you allow such things to happen?”
Snay Rouse looked around the crowd in the room in an imperious manner and then wore an impatient look. As a distinguished special guest of the Pam Family, he only served the high-ranking bloodline warriors in the family occasionally. But today, he was called for treating an unknown patient?
This was a sheer insult. Impatience crawled on Snay Rouse’s eyes as he had decided to vent his simmered anger today, otherwise, he would be asked to serve indiscriminately, even for a cat or a dog. Overwhelming fidget flooded in him when he recalled that there was an important pot of medicine stewed on the stove.
Qian Jin changed his look between Swit Lei, Saloo Bard, Noan Leta, and finally focused on Snay Rouse, who had been blustering about from the moment he stepped into the room. He couldn’t help but utter a sigh.
Through his three contacts with Swit Lei, Noan Leta, and Snay Rouse, Qian Jin had lost all his confidence in the Pam Family’s competence in recruiting pharmacists and taking in medicinal materials.
A pharmacist who gave credit to Noan Leta? Qian Jin lowered his head to look at his knees. It took no effort for him to figure out the level of this newly come “pharmacist”.
“Your Iron Smashing Grass is overripe and has gone somewhat rotten.” Qian Jin lazily lifted his eyelids, looked at Snay Rouse and said incisively. “You should use the Iron Smashing Grass picked up two days ahead of what you have collected to make high-level Bone-Stacking Potion. What you have now is an inferior product, which might only help the elderly to stop their lumbago and leg ache as well as provide them with more vigor. But for the injured people, it’s so bad that you’d be better off throwing it away.”
Snay Rouse looked at Qian Jin, stupefied. He had just walked into this room with an aim to vent his anger but was firstly spat on by someone else. “What is the background of this guy? The Iron Smashing Grass had been carefully chosen by me. How on earth could they go wrong? Oh no.” He thought.
A surprised look suddenly appeared on Snay Rouse’s face. He took a cold inhale and gazed at Qian Jin, wondering how this guy could know that he was making Bone-Stacking Potion. “That is my carefully replicated potion for bone injuries based on the original version which had been lost for a long time.
“There is nothing serious with Duren’s bones.” Seeing the third pharmacist strutting into the room, Qian Jin said to Noan Leta, “Tell the incoming pharmacist that Duren isn’t internally injured and that he can go to deal with the Bone-Stacking Potion. Otherwise, it will go bad and have people shedding tears for three hours uncontrollably once taken.”
Was that true? Pam Honxuan hadn’t ever felt so shocked before. “Isn’t this young guy a warrior? Yes, a warrior with some knowledge of mystic pharmacy. Why had he changed into someone that is good at pharmaceuticals? Someone who is proficient in three separate subjects, overshadowing the three pharmacists employed by the Pam Family?” He thought.
Noan Leta rose up docilely, losing all traces of his previously formidable demeanor. He walked out of the room and stopped the third pharmacist who was trying to come in.
“Do you really mean it?”
A screeching voice came from the pharmacist standing in the yard. As observed by Pam Honxuan, this pharmacist looked at Qian Jin from afar in diametric surprise and inquisitiveness for a short while, and then walked out the door silently.
Everyone present in the room, except for Fanta Kunge and Cech Flet, opened their eyes at least twice as big as before. They locked their eyes on Qian Jin in an unbelievable way.
Swit Lei felt that the heavens and earth were jolting fiercely. The single subject of mystic pharmacy was as immense as the Milky Way, causing its disciples to overindulge for a lifetime. How could this young guy be good at mystic pharmacy and pharmacy at the same time?
Snay Rouse kept swallowing saliva. Every field of pharmacy was as boundless as the Ancient Desert Sea. Young as this guy looked, he seemed to be proficient in three subjects?
“Impossible. This is definitely impossible.”Snay Rouse took several harsh breaths. “I don’t believe in this. You must have been notified in advance. I’ll vie with you.”

Qian Jin kept his eyelids lowered, “I’m not that interested…”
Not interested? Snay Rouse laughed. “You are showing cowardliness. You must have caught the news ahead of time…”
Qian Jin yawned leisurely and reluctantly raised his eyelids to look at Snay Rouse. “What does it have to do with you whether I’m good at pharmaceutical or not? Whether you believe it or not, I’m only a novice pharmacist. To be specific, a Level 10 Advanced Novice Pharmacist.”
For this time, even Fanta Kunge and Cech Flet changed their facial expressions. Novice. Qian Jin called the Level 10 Pharmacists novices. “Are you purposefully exasperating Snay Rouse? You didn’t mean it, did you? If you are a novice, what could the other pharmacists name themselves? Turds of the novices?” They thought.
“Level 10?”Snay Rouse laughed out loud. “You label yourself a Level 10 Pharmacist? Okay okay okay. So which field do you belong to? I have quite a number of friends in the Pharmacy Union. Whichever subject you belong to, I will certainly…”
“Which field?” Qian Jin frowned, narrowing his two thick and black eyebrows toward the center, “I’m an all fields pharmacist.”
All fields. Pam Honxuan slightly quivered and felt a drone ringing in his brain. The simple word “All fields” said by Qian Jin kept resonating in his mind as if he had been punched by someone on the face. The entire world seemed to be jolting.
All fields? As the most respected elder member of the Pam Family and the most resourceful helper of Pam Honzi, Pam Honxuan was called spokesman of Pam Honzi outside the family. Having seen a lot of the world and encountered all sorts of geniuses, Pam Honxuan was accustomed to seeing someone harbor a miraculous forte under seemingly mundane appearances.
In the past, when Pam Honxuan met with similar things, he’d most wore a slightly appreciative look. But this time, he had encountered a Level 10 Pharmacist in all fields, the top pharmacist!
But this time, Pam Honxuan couldn’t stay composed anymore, especially when it happened to an ordinary warrior still in his teens who enjoyed a Level 5 Demon Capturer’s abilities and a rarely-seen warrior heart and was unimaginably good at mystic pharmaceuticals!
Any young person bearing any of the above abilities was special enough for people to speak highly of.
When all these capabilities befell one person…Pam Honxuan would rather believe there to be a ghost than believe the existence of such a person. Apart from calling him a freak, he didn’t know what to say.
“All fields?” The “smile” on Snay Rouse’s face was as cold as the frozen ice in late winter. “Young boy, you are way too boastful. Since you are proficient in all fields, let’s compete in dealing with bone injuries…”
“I don’t’ want to compete with you.” Qian Jin waved his hand feebly, “It’s too boring to compete with someone of your level.”
“You’re frightened!” Snay Rouse stood in front of Qian Jin as he determined to give this young guy a bloody lesson. “Spoke ill of me in front of the Honorable Pam Honxuan? If I do not beat you down today, how could I apply for more research funds from the Pam Family in the future? The lesson for you is on the way.” He thought.
“Frightened?” Qian Jin feebly shook his head.
“Mr. Snay Rouse, let it go…” Pam Honxuan stepped forward and tried to ease the tension, “There isn’t any need to…”
“Respectable Elder Honxuan, please stop persuading me.” Snay Rouse waved his hands. As a high-level pharmacist with glory and respect, he had been favored and adored by people wherever he went. Even the members of the Royal Family wouldn’t treat him in such a rude way. How dare a naive bloke do this to him? How would he present himself to the public? If it was known by the public that he didn’t respond to such an insult, how great would their mocking of him be? He would become a joke of the pharmacists’ circle ever after.
“It’s okay if you don’t compete with me.” Snay Rouse crossed his hands over his chest. “As long as you apologize to me and admit you are lying and that my accomplishments in pharmacy…”
“Lying? I’m not lying.” Qian Jin curled his lips and looked at Snay Rouse pathetically. “Besides, do you have any real accomplishments given your level of pharmaceuticals? You are just a novice in pharmacist like me.”
“You…” Snay Rouse looked at Qian Jin in stupefaction as his chest heaved fiercely.
Qian Jin kept sighing, thinking to himself that calling this man a novice was quite generous. If Uncle Adams was here, he would have already punched this man to death for the fear of being disgraced of the glorious discipline of pharmaceuticals. Why were the pharmacists in the Pam Family behaving in such an arrogant way? Possessing no flair, they unbelievably had an imperious disposition.
“Okay, good. Good.”Snay Rouse kept nodding at Qian Jin. “Since you have said that, we have to start this competition. Follow me. Let’s go to my pharmacy lab where you can find and use all kinds of medicinal materials for healing bone injuries freely. As long as you can make a better potion for bone injuries…”
