“In terms of the seventh array…” Akenash nodded as she said, “You probably didn’t battle with her, otherwise you would be dead. It is called the Undead Queen’s Heraldic. Did you hear that? Heraldic and not a magic array.”
Qian Jin’s body shivered as if it was struck by lightning. A Heraldic! A character was able to be turned into hundreds if not thousands of Magic Arrays, that was why it might take a Rune Artist his or her whole life to study one character.
A heraldic, on the other hand, was formed by several different characters according to a special pattern.
If an array could be considered as a warrior, then a character would be a Demon Slayer or Demon Extinguisher, and a heraldic would be a Saint Warrior.
“Real… the undead exist…” Qian Jin looked at Akenash blankly. If the word came from other people’s mouth, he would still refute it. But since the most powerful Rune Master told him that in the Endless World with that tone and expression, he knew she wasn’t joking.
“Undead…” Qian Jin’s mood dropped to an all-time low. “Undead know how to use runes as well? I remember you saying that any rune would resemble a complicated lock. As long as there is the right key, the lock would be opened.”
“The Undead know runes for sure.” Akenash climbed onto the chair that was bigger than her, swung her legs, and responded. “If you know where undead came from, you wouldn’t be surprised.”
“What they came from?” Qian Jin heard the stories many times. To him, after a creature died, the grudge and resentment of the creature mixed with the strong desire to live would result in the birth of an undead creature.
These monsters didn’t have any consciousness, they only moved according to the habits they developed when they were still alive. But as their power grew stronger, they would gain consciousness under special circumstances and become intelligent.
Of course, all of these were from storytellers. In the Zence, the Demon, or the Barbarian Empire, no one had seen a “live” undead creature before.
Qian Jin didn’t know if he was lucky or unlucky. According to Akenash, he would have at least encountered undead creatures twice! And one of them… she…. Could it… No…
Qian Jin shook his head forcefully as he tried to get rid of the image of Luna in the desert from his head. He wanted to believe that she was only a female undead that looked like Luna.
“Undead…actually….” A bitter smile appeared on Akenash’s face as she said, “They are technically people.”
“People?” Qian Jin stopped shaking his head as he stared at Akenash.
“Or you can say that they used to be people.” Akenash said. “You have learned about Mystic Pharmaceuticals, so you know that mission of the mystic pharmacists.”
“To create a god. To create a mystic potion that powerful.” Qian Jin said what he heard from Eulalia numerous times. “Create a mystic potion that would even turn a pig into a god, let alone a human. Become a god and meet the gods who reside in the stars.”
Akenash nodded. But she put on another expression as she asked, “Then, do you know the mission of Rune Masters?”
Qian Jin shook his head. Every profession had their own goals and missions. Blacksmith wanted to forge out a God-tier Item, an item that an ordinary person can even exert the full strength of it.
If a god-tier hoe was forged, then it would be able to dig out a water well in one strike and it would be able to dig out tunnels in one strike when there was a flood so ordinary people can go against nature.
Weapons? Armors? They were easier ways to the god-tier items. After the experience was gained, they would be able to forge regular tools that have god-like effects.
In terms of pharmacists, they wanted to create a potion that could heal all sickness and injuries. Didn’t matter how severe it was, the person could recover instantly after drinking it.
Warriors and mages wanted to absorb the power in nature and make themselves gods. They would be able to serve their loved one and extend their lives so they would be free from disasters.
Qian Jin realized that he still didn’t know what goal Rune Masters wanted to achieve after studying it for some while now.
“Borrow the power from nature via special items…” Akenash’s expression got serious as she pointed at the sky, “To create gods.” She said.
“Create gods?” Qian Jin was stunned. “That’s the same mission as the mystic pharmacists. However, mystic pharmacist wanted to create a potion that could create gods and runes masters wanted to use magic items and magic arrays to create gods.” He thought.

“That’s right, create gods.” Akenash looked at the ceiling, but it felt like she saw through the ceiling and was staring at the sky. “There is no human that doesn’t want to become a god. Although people have different reasons for wanting to become a god and they want to achieve it through different means, they would definitely take whatever opportunity they have to become a god if they could.”
Qian Jin sat down and nodded. A god was so powerful that anything could be achieved, there was no one who didn’t want it.
“Therefore, runes artists started to research.” Akenash sighed. “However, a human’s lifespan is just too short. Even if you become a Saint Warrior, you only have about 1000 years. Therefore, Rune Artists knew that they needed a long time to make a Rune that would make them gods. In order to increase their lifespan, they created a new special way of existing, and that is…”
“Undead…” Qian Jin said subconsciously. It was rumored that undead creatures do die, but since they live much longer than human, they seemed undead in the eyes of many people.
“That is right. Undead and all of the related items are referred to as Eternal Heraldic.” Akenash continued. “However, there are side-effects. The user of Eternal Heraldic would ignore lives. Mystic Pharmacists would be considered guardians of lives when compared to them.”
Qian Jin had lost his ability to speak. In order to create the potion that can create gods, Mystic Pharmacists even poisoned and killed an entire city.
But here, they were considered as guardians of life? Then how cruel and careless are these undead creatures?
“In the future, when you encounter any more undead creatures, kill them instantly.” Akenash jumped off of her chair as she spoke. “If you can’t win, run instantly. Don’t expect them to be friendly at all.”
“Master…” Qian Jin looked at Akenash and asked, “Is there any way to unlock the Undead Queen’s Heraldic?”
Akenash looked at Qian Jin with a weird expression. “No, there is none.” She said.
Qian Jin slowly closed his eyes as he saw Akenash’s expression. “Master’s expression got weird when she heard my question. Could it be that there is a way, but she just doesn’t want to tell me?” He thought.
“Ok, you can leave now.” Akenash got onto the second floor, jumped to her bed, and said, “I have talked too much today, time for me to sleep.”
Again! Qian Jin curled his lips and he thought, “These masters are all the same. After they finish, they would ignore all of my remaining questions, and I couldn’t get more out of them.”
“There must be a way!” Qian Jin pulled a book off of the shelf and started to read it carefully. As long as he learned everything from Akenash, he would have a chance to solve the problem. Didn’t matter if that girl was Luna or not, he would want to take her out of the undead world.
Time passed by, and Qian Jin didn’t even realize it was time to go since he was so into the reading.
After he was kicked out of Endless World, he realized that even if he had a way to save the girl, he couldn’t get close to her since that eagle was very powerful. He would lose instantly, let alone capturing the girl alive.
Power! Qian Jin felt more hunger for strength. His Warrior Heart Awareness pushed away the sand, dug out a new pit, and threw the Jiuyang Flame Iron into the bottom of the pit with the tip of his Zhanmadao.
“So hot.” Qian Jin shook his head as he looked at the Zhanmadao that had turned red. This level 10 Warrior Weapon was turned to red when it made contact with the iron. If the contact remained longer, this sharp blade would be turned into a pile of iron liquid.
“Huh?” Qian Jin weight=ed the Zhanmadao. He felt something was strange, but he couldn’t figure out why or where.
“Just from the temperature, it seems like it is about to evolve to another level.” Qian Jin thought as he stared at the iron that was being buried by the sand. “But, how can it be forged? And what fire to use? And what hammer to use?”
“Damn, so hot!”
Fanta Kunge shouted as he quickly got out of the sand. He patted his butt as he looked around. “What happened? Did someone cast a Forbidden Fire Spell?”
Qian Jin looked at Fanta Kunge who was running around and shook his head. He didn’t expect the iron to be this hot. If he jumped into the pit right now…
Qian Jin almost smelled the scent of his flesh as if it was barbecued.
“Looks like this pit is not deep enough. However, that’s the farthest that I can control with my Warrior Heart Awareness. If I want to make the pit deeper, I would use more Warrior Power.” He thought.
