Chapter 4: Chapter 4 – The Pendragon and Travel

After Rayne and Nicole arrive, Carla keeps on “fighting” with Keira and Michelle until the bell rings. Leon just looked at them with a smile. Fortunately, he sits in the protagonist’s seat beside the window in the right back corner of the class.

Michelle who sits on Leon’s left side leaned toward Leon and whispered.

“Seeing you being so generous to us, I will introduce you to our ten friends that we made recently. All of them are very beautiful~”

‘Even without you introducing me, I already know about them, you know?’

Leon just nodded while giving Michelle a thumbs up.

Leon is the type of guy that didn’t really care about creating a harem and the limit of it. He wants to be surrounded by beauties. So, no matter how many beauties, he wouldn’t mind at all. Plus, ever since he knew Akasha, he didn’t need to worry about growing old or becoming “weak” in that aspect. Like his motto of life said, “Do whatever you want!”.

The clock pointed to 7 P.M.

The School has obviously ended and Leon fulfilled his promise to bring the girls to have lunch. He brought his sisters and the girls into the group. They have known each other and are quite close too. Thankfully, lunchtime is about an hour in their school.

“Should I travel now?”

Akasha suddenly appeared beside Leon and answered.

“If it’s not for me always having a feeling when you were about to appear, I would have already died because of the jumpscare.”

Leon smiled wryly.

“Can you do something like show me my status?”

Leon suddenly asked. Akasha devoured a system this morning. She should have this kind of ability, right?

Akasha’s face turned red. She knew what Leon meant because she saw his wretched face.

“Why didn’t you remind me then? Didn’t you say you will notify me once I get power?”

Akasha acted cutely.

Leon just shook his head and didn’t pursue this subject anymore.

“Then, how to summon the Pendragon Weapons?”

Leon directly changed the subject after he saw Akasha’s embarrassed face. Of course, he felt satisfied.

“I don’t know. How about closing your eyes? They usually do that to activate something.”

Leon sat on his bed and closed his eyes.

When Leon closed his eyes and concentrated, he could feel something attract him. He saw a silhouette of a pair of swords, a dagger, a spear, and an armor.

Leon breathed out slightly and opened his eyes.

He walked towards the window and opened it. Akasha who saw him was quite curious.

It’s not like she didn’t know how to activate it, but she didn’t want Leon to over-depending on her. She wants Leon to always rely on himself and become independent. She has many enemies after all. If she couldn’t depend on him in the future, who would she depend on?

Leon reached his right hand to the sky and muttered. He didn’t want to shout because it was not that cool. After all, it was already late at night and people will think of him as an idiot. Let’s try that later in another world.

When Leon heard the sound, he looked up at the sky. Five white things traveled at a high speed leaving only white light behind them.

Five objects appeared in front of Leon.

A pair of twin swords, one black, and one white.

A purple dagger.

A golden spear.

And a black red armor.

When Leon saw the five objects, he felt a connection between himself and the objects. It’s like they were delighted when they saw him.

“Come.”

Leon waved his hand and suddenly…

The black and white swords went into Leon’s palms and became a tattoo. Not a real tattoo because only he could see them.

The purple dagger turned into a purple ring and was inserted into Leon’s right middle finger.

The golden spear turned into a necklace with a golden chain and the spear as the pendant.

The black-red armor turns into eyeglasses with a black frame and red transparent glasses.

“Quite cool.”

“Yeah. This world is interesting. It is certainly a Tier-0 world but it contains treasures that will only appear in Tier-4 worlds and above. Maybe this world has the existence of Gods before. But due to some unknown reason, the Gods disappeared and the mana gradually exhausted and dissipated.”

“Aren’t you supposed to know everything?”

Leon looked at Akasha strangely.

“The protagonist in this world is you. How could I exhaust your luck and take the World Core? If I do that, that’s like I’m committing suicide.”

Akasha rolled her eyes and explained.

“So I’m the protagonist huh… how could you take the World Core then?”

“Just get stronger and you could extract it on your own.”

“That works too.”

Leon nodded.

“Well, show me the new things I got.”

After Leon said that, the transparent blue screen appeared.

Cosmic energy is energy that’s drawn from outer space. While for the EX-rank, it’s the same with FATE’s scale system.

“Too overpowered…”

Leon muttered. He didn’t expect that the world he was currently in had these kinds of treasures.

“Not really. Under Tier-3 worlds and even some Tier-3 worlds, it might be overpowered. But don’t forget. From Tier-4 worlds above, there is the existence of Gods and some Gods could manipulate time.”

“Can you not interrupt my happy moment?”

Leon was dumbfounded because of her words. He knows that in one of the Tier-4 worlds there is a sword that could banish you to the void and in Marvel, Tier-X world, there is a sorceress that could manipulate time.

“It’s not that I’m breaking your fantasy. I just want to tell you not to rely on your weapons too much. You should rely on your abilities more unless you’re already at the peak.”

Weapons are good. Akasha won’t lie.

But, the thing Leon needs to focus on now is increasing his strength and powers.

When he reaches the true peak, that will be the time weapons will be useful.

For example, a pair of cultivators have reached their peak and their strengths are roughly the same. The only way they could get defeated would be either a contest of whose weapons are higher in rank or using schemes.

But actually, this kind of thing won’t happen to Leon. Because, he has [Battle Record] and that means he would be far better than others in the same rank.

Leon was excited when he thought about the other worlds. Although it might be dangerous, it’s okay. Without danger, how could he become powerful?

With that, Leon disappeared from the world and suddenly, the world seems to stop moving.

No sound and only silence.

The time in this world has stopped.
