"Serious? She's dead? It must be fake news." Novel didn't take the news very well, similarly to Ayden.

"Yeah. I'm serious, but still, that's not the topic I'm trying to bring up." Everybody looked at Gren.

"... I have to go to Menish. I accepted a comission. You could accompany me if you want to..." Gren extended himself over the table, reaching out to Novel and Ayden by the back, pushing them together. On the opposite side of Gren was Kol, who followed them and got closer.

"...It's a mission to assassinate somebody from Menish."

- This idiot.

- Wow! He did some stupid shit once again! ... These are the exact thoughts of Novel and Ayden. Kol already knew about it.

They all sat on their chair.

"So, who is it?" Ayden asked a question, which if it wasn't for Ayden, Novel would've asked.

"It's a certain person from the military of Menish. To be more exact, a veteran of the border conflict between Menish and Geloh." That border conflict happened around 20 years ago. Or maybe 21, but definitely earlier than 25 years ago.

"So, why does that poor soul have to die?" Novel said that as if he's trying to mock Gren. And also make him feel bad. However, it didn't work.

""Information from a reliable source has stated that he has something to do with the resistance." Is what I've been told. It seems like the guild of Kanto doesn't want such information get to the public." Good thing they are in a corner, alone in the room while they were talking about this. What if somebody heard them? Well, it wouldn't be good for anybody. In, probably what the worst case is, a rumor would spread, possibly reaching the ears of the ketod of Menish, which in that case, that "certain man" would be questioned, then imprisoned if that goes bad.

Doesn't sound good, does it? It'd most likely cause a war. Things are already intense, but this would really cut the final ties, which are holding the world at peace... Well of course it'll sound very bad! After all, it's the worst outcome possible. I think. Right?

Novel and Ayden looked at each other. Then, they looked back at Gren. "Yeah, we won't come."

"I could come, but I'll be worried about these two silly boys if I do." Ayden glared at Kol, while Novel didn't even bother to react.

"Is that so? I guess that I'll go by myself then. I have about a month and a few days, so I'll have to get to it right away." Gren stood up and started walking out. Slowly.

"Wait.." Kol stood up and catched up to Gren. "You remember what we talked about yesterday, right?" Gren was reminded of what Kol said back then. It was about which route is better, the north or the south? Kol prefered the north, but Gren estimated the time each way will take already.

"Oh, yeah... I'll go through the south." Kol insisted that Gren has to take the north route, but it seems like he'll have to repeat himself.
"Yeah, but still, the north will be better."

...

Gren whispered something to Kol. What did he say? Well... I didn't hear it. Your problem!

"Oh." Seems like Gren said something which seems to explain to him why he will take the south route. Or something else.

I'm honest, I really didn't hear it. Okay?

Wait. Right... You guys don't know!
So, this topic is pretty much caused by Linel. Linel is... A gigantic mountainous area, that covers a large part of the continent. Right, I said that they didn't lose a single battle against Hirom, right? Well, obviously, it's a mountain which seems to be indestructible. Also it's high. Several kilometres high. Crazy!

History books from long, long ago mention Linel. To be more exact, it's mentioned as a wealthy country, which is strange. Doesn't that indicate that there was once a civilisation on Linel? I guess that we'll find out sometime later.

The noises steps make, disguised in boots go throughout the room. Then the creak of a door is heard.

Gren is now outside, the wind feels nice! Immediately as he got out though.. "Hey young man, you don't look like you're from here!" An elderly man approached him. "Yeah, you're actually right." The old man laughed. "These eyes may not do the work like from my time of youth, but I can still tell! Please boy help yourself and buy this atlas for just one silver coin!"

He wore some large cloth, I guess to keep himself warm, but it's summer, not winter! Anyway, Gren agreed. "Yeah, here's the 500 chesh. I do need it." Gren took the atlas. It was full of maps of many cities Nidon. It's what the cover claimed. As he continued to walk, staring at the street made of many little rocks, his curiousity finally defeated Gren. He opened the atlas... Agh! Why?! This isn't even a real map!!

"Wha-" Gren managed to seal back his expressed in a verbal way frustration. He stopped his slowly paced walking, and he crossed through all the pages... All the maps were like a kids drawing! He made an angry face, even getting looks. He looked back to see if that God damn geezer was still nearby! The crowd wasn't big, but it still managed to seal him.

Gren made a deep sigh, after making a calm face. "That God damn scammer.." He couldn't help, but let the words out. Gren now looked at his surroundings, as if he heard something alarming. Not in a bad way though. The houses had no roof, the windows were fully wooden... The style looked like the one of Perera.

- I guess that we'll farewell.. Nevermind, I still didn't even reach the station..
Gren sure had a good time! However, it'll be even better! Or worse.. who knows?

His next stop, Menish! The town in the south west, Waist! The town was more like a village before, similarly to Hano, but ever since the "World Train Lines" was completed, it became a big town! It's the same thing with Hano and many many more cities.

Also thanks to that project, so many logistical problems have been solved! Many many. However, they're still there.

•Train Station Of Hano•

Gren entered, looking for the schedule papers, or whatever it's all written on.
"Where..."

There! There it is! Uhh, Gren where are you going to? Gren really has trouble finding it. The crowd sure must be a problem for him.

"Hey! It's him! I'll make sure I get you this time!" Somebody shouted at him. Why would they do such a thing in a heavily crowded space? It was a very well built man who was running out to Gren together with 2 other men.
"Ha!? Who are you?!" They caught Gren. He can't really resist to these big men without blowing around flames. Oh, man. They are dragging him outside. Won't anybody interfere? That's just horrible.

After a big of dragging...

They're now between two buildings, alone. Why didn't anybody try to save Gren? Will he now lose his virginity? Or... Oops, I shouldn't say that. I mean.. They're gonna beat him up! The two men which had him in their arms threw him against the rock hard wall.

"Agh!" He had trouble getting up, but before he could even get fully up, he got kicked in the face. Ow! That must hurt!

"Well, fire boy, aren't ya gonna use your powers?" "Heh, you scared?" Gren... This can't be over yet, you had much stronger opponents than this, and the ones next are gonna be even scarier!

-Seems like I don't have the option to hold back... why did they even come back?
Was it a gang? Still, they're the ones who started!
"Come on! Say something, my little kitten! Haha!" Laughter of the other two followed.

Gren lifted his arm slowly. He then pointed at one of them. He made sure to aim at the head.
Oh! I see! His finger turned into fire, and a little bullet of fire was shot straight to the head of one of them.
It went right through his right eye, it surely would kill him!
"You bastard!" One of them quickly pushed his mate to the side and prepared to kick Gren with full power! That'll hurt-

But he suddenly stopped, then fell on Gren. When he fell off, the guy hit his head on Gren's thigh, but not only was he hit there, he was also hit in the head by a stick.
Wait...
-An axe?!

That's an axe! Who threw it?
"You shouldn't mess with us, got it?"
"That's right, go back to your boss to report how cool we are and how unbeatable we are!"
Ayden and Kol seem to unite when a foe stands, but in most other situations, they're enemies.

"Eh!?! What's wrong with you?" There were two paths. One of them was covered by Kol and Ayden, so the stranger naturally went the other way.

"I can escape-" He fell over before he could finish.
He fell because Novel extended his leg, how cool that is!

"Yeah, you can't! ... Joking! Make sure you tell your boss about us!"
Seems like they were making fun of them.

Well, now they're safe. I guess.
"You guys, why are you here?"
"That's cause we're leaving Hano too. We're gonna go to Tilbin, so we can buy a caravel."
"Mhm. Seems like we're gonna have to wait for the train together."
This situation is very wholesome!

"Alright... Let's go boys!"
Gren worded that as if they were going to an adventure.
"Hold up, you gonna go to the train station with the mantle dirty?"
Yeah, it was dusty.
"Yeah, I'll get it away." He cleared it with his hands. Thank God he was able to get rid of that dust, right?
"You forgot your luggage by the way.."

"Oh, that. Keep it with you."
..

"The train for Tilbin is in 3 minutes." Novel said that calmly, even though that isn't a calm matter.
"Come on, let's go, I can already see the train."
Wait...
"Wait, you guys are gonna go already?" Gren sighed, "Aw man. Well, bye, I guess."
"Bye!" "See you." "Goodbye."
They entered the train, except Ayden.
"Right, right! Your train comes in 6 hours! Good luck with that!"
"What?"
Gren took a good look on the schedule board.
"You..." Gren was about to shout out to him, but Ayden was already inside the train.

He smiled.
Gren was also warned afterwards, because they made a lot of noise.. He did get a lot of looks by the strangers.
"Sorry."
"Make sure it doesn't happen again."

Anyway, Gren had to buy a ticket.
"Hello! For which location would you like to buy a ticket for?"
"Yeah, that'll be..."
Gren had a trick. Since going from Hano all the way to Waist would cost so much, if he were to stop by Theatlus then by a ticket there, the price would end up much, much cheaper. For example, this could take a full gold coin- which is worth 10,000 chesh.

It's expensive because of a few factors. First, travelling by train is super fast and much more time efficient than with a carriage.
Second, not many people want to be train drivers. On top of that, it's difficult to even be qualified for a potential driver. And a train, that is if it's fully stable and goes at a great speed, requires about four drivers. In some cases, it could go to 10. Depends on the train.
Third, the government tax is forcing this to be pretty inaccessible.

However, in Theatlus it'll be cheaper. It's the benefits of being good at geography, I guess.
"A ticket for Theatlus."
"Hmmm, okay! That'll be a big silver coin!"
Gren already prepared the chesh.
"Here are the 2,500 chesh."
"Your will be here in an hour. Thanks and stay safe!"
-Huh, they usually don't tell you this, what a nice girl.

An hour isn't a little. After looking around, Gren notices some big and wide letters high on the wall, 'NEWS'
-Let's kill the time by reading a newspaper.
Naturally, getting through the crowd wasn't easy.

...
After waiting in line.
"Hello! Is that a newspaper you want to buy"
"That's right, just this."
"That'll be two copper coins! Thanks!"
"Here they are."
"Thank you for being a customer!"

The newspaper from here had a cover, which covered the content inside. However, if a newspaper was shipped to you, it wouldn't be.
After opening it... Gren notices the news from the morning.
"Right, she's dead.." He still isn't used to it. I can't blame him, I sometime get surprised looking at the calendar and seeing a different year than the one I'm used to. It's pretty funny.

On the newspaper there were things like 'Geloh recovers from the tragedy 70 years ago'
You want to know about that? Anyway. So, the resistance pops up, they destroy the bridge between ChanPaKans' colonies and its homeland.
At the same time the resistance shows up and defeats the Chans army, many, many, MANY resources were prepared to be shipped.
Usually, there would be many many, but this time, it was many many many! A lot of those would have gone to Geloh. Do I bore you? Yeah, I think that we've already painted the picture with enough detail.

Seems like the train has arrived. Gren entered without any trouble.
Usually, train stations would take tickets right as you enter the train. However, in some places, they ask for the ticket after the train has reached its destination. Why? I don't really know.

Anyway. Last time Gren travelled with a train was the other day. The Longer River Port was in Perera, very close to Hano, which is in Nidon.
So, last time it didn't take long.

However, this time, the route is from Hano to Theatlus. That's a route a little shorter than a route from Pa to Ezgelei. It was a long distance, is what I'm trying to say.

It's about noon, so the train will probably take him from noon to dusk. That would be boring.
It would really be boring if you couldn't just fall asleep. In most cases, you can't, because somebody could steal whatever you have on you. But Gren doesn't have anything on him. Just the fake atlas. His clothing and his hat.
Gren actually doesn't enjoy having a hat on his head, mainly because he likes to keep his semi-messy hair free. He only has the hat because the sun could really do something bad to you if you just let it shine at your head.

Seems like Gren fell asleep already. He is having a dream right now. Which is strange. You usually don't dream during the day.
You wanna know what the dream is? Well... I'll tell you... ... Next chapter!
