Chapter 1: Prologue – A constant dream

I jolt awake, and grasp out in fear, seaming to try and to touch something. What was that about I wonder? Then it hits me, I had that dream again! This must have been the 50th time. In it I float in space staring at the beautiful stars covering my vision. Then I see her, a beautiful woman wearing a long dark dress. She sits on a constellation of a throne, looking powerful and imposing. I run my eyes up her, staring at her black gown. It has two slits along the side revealing thick pale thighs. Then I see that the dress has a window showing more than a little cleavege. Then finally to her face, which is cover in a veil just short enough to reveal a devious smile. For some reason, that smile is terrifying.

Then the *ring ring * of my alarm clock shatters me out of my trance. Off to work with me. 5 am to 8 pm seemed illegal to me, but the government was probably to busy swimming in pools onto money to care about the average man. I get dressed and go out to my car, and get going. Was it weird to have a constant dream, and such a weird one at that? Maybe I should go see a psychic or something.

That's when I hear the swerving of cars and return my attention to the road, and I see a car coming right for me! I try to hit the breaks but it was too late, the screach of metal has already hit my ears.
