Chapter 5: Chapter 4 Intruder

Black clouds cover the bright moon, through which white rays fall down. Some of the rays reach the apartment building, penetrating through a window into one of the apartments, where a teenager is lying on a couch, covering his head with one hand.

Meanwhile, on the other side near the front door stood a shadow shrouded all in black, the dim lighting made the shadow look very blurry.

Looking around, the shadow drew two metal objects from its pocket, and then carefully held them up to the lock of the door.

The Shadow fiddled with the lock for a few seconds when suddenly she heard footsteps coming from below the stairs.She did not make a sound and continued to do its job, at last when the steps were near, took the objects out of the lock and stepped back and leaned against the dark part of the corridor.

Soon a middle-aged man came up from the stairs, he did not notice anything and continued up the stairs.

The Shadow waited until the sound of footsteps and the closing of the door subsided before stepping out of the shadows.

Approaching door number 47, The Shadow did not continue his business, but carefully pulled the handle and opened the door. Slipping inside the apartment he immediately closed the door.

It was dark inside, and near the door merged with the darkness a pair of violet eyes stared intently and scanned the surroundings. Aside from the teenager on the couch, the shadow found no one else, walking cautiously forward, its gaze fell on the door to the bedroom. 

Continuing to scan, the shadow approached the door, but didn't notice a pair of eyes staring at her. Continuing toward the door she turned around and looked at the teenager, but found nothing.

Carefully taking hold of the bedroom door handle with her left hand, her right hand reached for her thigh where there was a metallic texture. Holding on to something, the shadow carefully removed a black pistol with a silencer from her pocket.

At the ready and aiming for the door she cautiously opened the door, through the shells there was only a dark bedroom and nothing else. 

Shadow was slightly puzzled, she wanted to turn around and look around again. But before she could turn around completely, she felt something catch hold of her right hand holding the gun. A terrifying crisis gripped her.

Her instincts kicked in instantly, and she yanked her arm back while simultaneously turning her body around and kicking with her left leg.

The hand that was holding her didn't let go, and her leg blocked her opponent's other arm around him, no sooner had she reacted than she felt pain in her right arm from which she loosened her grip on the weapon. 

As soon as she realized this, she immediately reached into her belt with her other hand and drew her dagger towards her opponent. She heard the sound of an object falling to the floor, it was a gun, at the same time she felt no expected resistance from the dagger.

No hit, the only thought crossed her mind. Before she could react, she felt her opponent push her other leg, causing them both to start falling.

Shadow didn't have time to think, as she fell, she stabbed the dagger forward once more. Before the pain pierced her back she felt her dagger arm being deflected to the side by her opponent's hand. 

After falling, the shadow struck her opponent with her free hand, which tilted her head slightly to the side and avoided it. She felt the hand holding her left leg loosen and grabbed her arm. 

The Shadow strained her strength and tried to push her opponent away, to her surprise it succeeded and her opponent fell to the side. She wanted to lift her leg and kick as she felt the grip on both arms loosen simultaneously pushing her back. 

With inertia she turned and immediately squatted up, but lifting her head she froze.

The dark silencer of the gun was pointed at her, making her feel that death was near. 

With these thoughts in mind she tried to figure out how to escape death even with a bullet wound, but the other party pointing the gun at her took cautious steps toward the front door.

Flicking a switch that caused the shadow to close its eyes, the other side's voice was heard.

- Who are you, and why did you sneak into my apartment ....... If you don't answer, you will die! ....

Shadow's eyes adjusted as she slowly opened her eyes.

Only then did Shadow realize she was fighting with the teenager who used to lie on the couch.

The teenager was breathing heavily, his hand holding the gun trembled slightly, and his gaze turned sideways and back to her.

And now the most unlikely hunch had come true, and it seemed the only option was to show himself and start a conversation.

- Stop! Stop! It's me ......

As she spoke, she simultaneously removed the mask covering her face.

There was silence in the room, the teenager holding his sights on the teacher who had come to his door today.

For moments he went into a stupor, then recovered, holding the gun with both hands he felt dizzy.

So thinking, he leaned his back against the front door and sat on the ground breathing heavily.

- Why are you.....why are you here and why do you have a gun.

- Я.... I'm going to explain everything now so calm down, I'm not going to hurt you .... 

The teen listened, but gradually the dizziness got worse. He didn't want to lose consciousness now since the other party might just kill himself. 

But it was difficult, the effects of the medication had already passed. At the same time, because of his exhausted body, he could not help himself, his eyes gradually went dark and soon he lost consciousness.

The woman standing and looking at him saw him let go of his hand holding the gun felt relief after which she realized that the other party had lost consciousness.
