'I need to kill him'

...

thought Theresa as she flipped through the pages of her textbook. As she reached the chapter, she glanced up to look at the teacher.

Ishan Kumar.

This was the chemistry teacher, they were ordered to kill

Scrawny physique, and big and round glasses sitting on his middle age face.

According to the info obtained by Jenna, he's a 42 year old man with a wife and 3 kids. The wife remains at home and 2 kids go to collage while the other one is in the middle school division of their school.

A blueprint of an ordinary, everyday guy. Nothing special about him, just living his life like the majority.

'Why does Mr. Kumar want him dead?'

is the question that lingered in Theresa's mind.

What was the motive behind killing him?

Did he do something to tick off Mr. Kumar?

But where can an ordinary guy like him even meet Mr. Kumar? He lives on an entirely different continent.

'No matter the reason, I dare not go against him right now...'

The sentiment was made glaringly obvious with the way he handled their problem.

That day, three big and burly-looking men came to the site of the murder just an hour after.

They reached the school gate dressed as bodyguards, they told the guard about me. The guard called and I told him to let them in. My family's rich so it was not odd for me to bring bodyguards when going out.

One picked up the body and threw it inside the car they came in.

The other two took out some stuff from the bag and started cleaning the blood-stained floor.

I personally had no idea what they were doing and how they were doing it, the scene was just like how it was shown in the movies I watched.

Though the process looked tedious and bone-breaking, I still stood there to learn a thing or two about it.

I may not be able to do it as cleanly as professionally as them, but maybe it might prove helpful in the future.

With thoughts like these in mind, I started asking questions as they were doing their job.

[So what are these chemicals you guys brought]

Though they looked surprised at my question, they still diligently answered them in great detail

Bioremediation chemicals.

That's what they called them, they help in cleaning the bloodborne pathogens and other bacteria that start to form when a body dies or blow stains the ground.

After cleaning the floor with it, the blood stains were gone and the floor looked as good as new.

But that was only visually, there was still the awful smell and hidden fingerprints that the body left behind.

For the smell, they used a variety of deodorizers and disinfectants.

Finally, for the fingerprints, they also used a solution there. When I asked what it was made out of, they said it was a mixture of warm water and vinegar. Damping a microfibre cloth in it, they started cleaning all the handles, sofas, tables, chairs, and all sorts of things that his hand could touch.

After a rigorous 4 four or so hours of work, the crime scene was finally free of any crime or evidence.

The knowledge obtained may not be useful now but I was sure it would be in the future.

I bowed deeply and thanked them for providing me with their knowledge and being patient and kind with my constant barrage of questions.

[Feel free to contact us if you need any of these chemicals or some other chems]

Said one of them as he handed me a phone number. I saved it on my phone and thanked them again.

By the time it was over, the sun outside was already setting.

Since they came in as bodyguards, they can't just leave without me. So I stepped into their car as Jenna stayed behind.

Thanking the gate guard for his work, we went out and they left me a few minutes outside the school.

An hour passes as I idled in the park nearby and then finally returned to school to go to the dorm.

I lay on my bed after taking an hour long bath, as exhaustion filled my body I closed my heavy eyes and fell into sweet slumber.

...

The next day arrives, and a letter comes under my name.

I open the letter and see the contents inside. It was a couple of photos and a letter.

Seeing the photos my hands trembled and the photos fell from my hands to the floor. Panicked, I swiftly picked up the photos and firmly shut the door.

After drinking a cup of water, I sighed and sat on the bed again. My hands still trembling I turned the photos again.

These were the pictures of that boy Parvash? Pervish? Par...Lir...Or WHATEVER parents' and sisters' dead bodies.

I indirectly caused the death of four people by getting them involved.

Thinking about it made my brain go haywire and my heart started beating frantically.

Did I do this? No way right?

Yes, there was no way. I just killed one. I didn't tell him to murder the boy's entire family. There must have been other ways of dealing with them.

Yes, that was it. I have just killed one, these four were not my fault.

It couldn't be my fault.

It was not my fault.

It was not my fault.

It was not my fault.

As I convinced myself of the truth, I opened the letter to read its content.

The letter was from Mr. Kumar, he wrote that the police won't investigate the disappearance of the boy or his family and that they have been disposed of properly.

In the end, there was a warning.

'I have a month to perfectly kill the teacher. If I can't then the police might get involved'

Reading this my heart shuddered, and a dark miasma took over my body.

As my body became unable to move, a sweet whisper entered my ears.

[Is my lovely Vassal really going to let such a brutish person control her heart? mmmm?]

As the whisper calmed my raging heart, I felt arms reaching from behind and enveloping me it's cold grace.

[Elena's chosen princess must not be this cowardly]

As her sugary whisper filled my body, it calmed down and all the storm inside my brain disappeared.

I had calmed down.

[Dear Theresa, Oh Lovely Theresa...don't let your emotions be controlled by such a guy]

I nod so as to agree with the voice

[Just use this man as your stepping stone and fulfill my righteous wish]

[Kill all the four reincarnates, show them the true meaning of despair, show them violent brutality, show them their wrongs]

The voice didn't speak with anger, happiness, or any emotion. It spoke in a matter of fact way, like everything she spoke is the one and only truth, and her wishes cannot be denied nor questioned.

[Carry my revenge, I will always be by your side]

Tomorrow marks the one and a half week mark of my deadline.

Though fear of Mr. Kumar and restraints still bind my heart, I have the courage to still step forward.

*DING* *DING* *DING*

The bells marked the end of the chemistry period

[Teacher, I have a few doubts regarding this lesson]

I raised my voice as my left arm stood up straight. With such diligence and smile on my face, there was no way he could refute

[Oh, Theresa? Sure, I have a class next so come to me after school, alright?]

He smiles and allows me time.

[Yes, thank you very much, sir!]

[mm! You all should learn something from Theresa, I know that none of you got anything about today's lesson into your brain]

[[[hai hai, Sir]]] said the students in unison, some with embarrassment on their faces and some throwing daggers at the teacher, nudging him to get out already.

[Good! If any of you also have any doubts, come with Theresa after school]

He's a kind teacher through and through, but still, I'm sure nobody is crazy enough to spend their youthful after school hours listening to the ramblings of some old middle aged guy.

...

...

...

Or so I thought, as I stand outside his office door.

Apparently, there was someone crazy like that.

This waaaaaay too proper looking girl next to me.

Straight long black fire, sharp eyes, thin lips. No makeup and extremely proper uniform with a Midi length skirt. I cannot even see a tease of her fair skin apart from her face.

Exuding an air of a high-class Ojou-sama.

The crazy Ojou looks up at me and mysteriously nods before opening the door

[Respected Teacher, we have come for doubts]

Respected teacher...

hearing those words of utmost respect a violent shock ran through my body, giving me goosebumps.

I intended to use this "doubt session" to gauge some more info about him.

But now that plan seemed to have fallen to ru-

[Don't worry, I will provide assistance in Miss Theresa getting the information she wants]

huh?

I look down again and saw a vision of a bright pink heart in her eyes.

It was only an instant, it was replaced with calm eyes and a poker face before I could comprehend anything.

Was it just an illusion?

But more importantly, a big question was raised in my head.

Who is this girl?
