The entire world was filled with the colour red as the monsters ran rampage...
Fan Xui silently watched as the human shaped monsters as they neared him. But as they came close, he moved swiftly and bought about a lightning bolt to kill them all off. The charred bodies in front of him gave off a disgusting smell.
{'When will this end?'} He uttered..
"When you wake up, it will," a small voice whispered.
Started Fan Xui opened his eyes wide open.
"Ah, you are finally awake. Do you know how long I had to call out to you? Darn you sleep like the dead," Qian muttered as he pulled the sheets off his body. His worried eyes still lingered on him as he moved around the room. "Are you sure you are okay?"
Fan Xui sat up, holding his aching head. "What if I said I'm not?.."
"Then I'll most likely nag until you tell me the details." Qian sat down near the corner and patted his shoulders. "Xui, you have to talk to me. I can sense that you are completely disturbed by something. Can't you tell me? I can help,"
"I'm not sure you can help though," he groaned and sat up. His body was weirdly hot and clammy.
"Fan Xui, please...."
"I'm having nightmares, okay. Every day I dream of burning people to death. It continued until the monsters disappeared. In the end only I stand in the barren world filled with corpses." he took a sip of water.
Qian nodded to himself. "You know dreams are cognitive symptoms that means..."
"It's not a dream.... it was real. I can feel it. The warm blood on my hands, the heat of the lightening, everything. I could feel every single thing." Fan Xui shouted aloud. The dreams had continued from the day he saw that weird dairy from that kid. The weird monster he drew was the reason for all this.
"I need your help." He finally mumbled.
"What is it? I can hook you up with a psychiatrist, I know. Trust me, he is good," Qian happily chimed in.
"No, I need your help to find someone. It's a boy... he sat next to me on my flight back. Can you find him?"
"I—I can try. But why are you searching for him?" his friend murmured.
"You don't have to know." Fan Xui walked out the room into the bathroom trying to clear his mind out.
Qian, who was left outside, sighed loudly. "God, he has become eccentric after his surgery. Maybe something might have gone wrong," he mumbled and left his friend's house.
Right out the door, he slammed into someone. "'sorry, sorry, didn't see you there,"
"Brother Qian!!" a loud voice screeched, and the person ran after him ad clung to his arm.
"Liwei?!! What are you doing out here?"
"Brother~~" he cried loudly, hugging him tight. "I—I came to apologise for my mistakes. I just wish that Fan ah will forgive me for my sins as well," he pitifully shed a few tears.
"It's not our fault." Qian gently patted his back. He glanced back at the closed door with a sigh. "He is not feeling good right now. It's better not to disturb him,"
"What! Fan-ah is sick?! I want to see him. Brother Qian, please. Please let me repay him back by helping him out," he cried whilst hiding his face on his chest. A small smile rose on his face. 'He is sick, huh? That's good. I can easily manipulate him into liking me.'
He pulled away from the hug, wiping his tears away. "Brother, please. Just this once. Just this once, can you let me in? I will take good care of him."
Qian sighed loudly. "yeah.... its better he is with someone..." he mumbled and opened the door. "Liwei, try your best to stay out of the way. He already has too much on his plate."
Liwei smiled dazzlingly. "Thank you so much, brother. I don't know how to repay you," he cried and ran into the house.
He closed the door behind him with a wide smirk. 'It's really easy cheating that big fool. As for that blind fool, I have to stick close to him. He is my one ticket out of hell in apocalypse.....' he giggled and ran freely around the house.
Fan Xui turned down the shower to listen to the thudding footsteps outside. It was irregular and chirpy, unlike Qian's footsteps. 'Who is in my house?'
He swiftly tied a towel around his hips and walked out.
Water dripped down his hair onto the hardwood floor, slightly brig about dripping sounds as he went.
Fan Xui slowly followed the footsteps over to the kitchen. A small figure n white shirt was moving around leisurely, taking out pots and pans.
"What are you doing here?"
"Gasp! Fan-ah, why didn't you make a sound?" Liwei mumbled, holding his chest. It had always been this way. This blind fool was very good at silencing himself. "I was making you some porridge," he said, smilingly. The blind man was looking his way, but his gaze was focused on something behind him.
This reassured him a lot.
'Yeah, that's right. You only have to depend on me now. Later on you have to pay it all back with interest.' Liwei smiled widely and wiped his hand clean. "Fan-ah, is sea food porridge okay with you?"
"I asked what are you doing here?" Fan Xui repeated with a frown. This guy barged into his house and acts like he owns it. And the expression just now... he knew that this person does not have any good intention.
"I—I wanted to repay you for my famili's mistakes. Brother Qian let me in, but please don't blame him. It was I who begged him to. Please, just let me help you out."
"No need, get out," Fan Xui snapped.
Startled, Liwei froze in place. His grip tightened on his towel. 'Fucking blind bitch,... how dare he tell me to leave. I am prostrating myself to get on your good terms, yet you are chasing me away!'
He softly sniffed as if he was crying and moved to the door.
As he got close, he opened the door and made stepping noises and closed it again.
Grinning, he stood silently by the door. 'You think chaise me out that easy, huh? You stupid fool, you can't even see me here,'
"I said get out," Fan Xui repeated, this time with a stern expression.
Liwei's face changed swiftly. 'How... how does he know I'm still here... can he see!!!!'
