265 : Cursed Anonymous Now that it’s been a week since the servers opened, How’s the progress on the dungeons?
266 : Cursed Anonymous A week already, huh… Time sure flies by quick.
267 : Cursed Anonymous If you’re using a weird character, you’re forced to spend around 3 days devoting yourself to learning it, so some people can’t really say it’s been a week yet.
268 : Cursed Anonymous >265 Not making any progress here. The dungeons are way too difficult…
269 : Cursed Anonymous Rather than having hit-or-miss characters, I think it’s the initial curses’ differences in ease of usability that has become so much more apparent. All thanks to the noble sacrifices of the inspection team.
270 : Cursed Anonymous True that. They resolved themselves in getting a late start when it came to the actual game guide and made the most out of the entirety of their 3 day unlimited character recreating period. I couldn’t be any more grateful.
271 : Cursed Anonymous So, which characters are considered a hit or a miss? I plan on recommending the game to a real life friend during the upcoming event and wanted to be a bit more informed.
272 : Cursed Anonymous >271 Pick the semi-auto creator and you’ll be fine overall.
273 : Cursed Anonymous Just go with semi-auto. Don’t sign the contract.
274 : Cursed Anonymous If you don’t have a clear idea of what playstyle you wanted to go for, then choose semi-auto. Also,『CNP』is definitely somewhat of an acquired taste, so don’t be too pressuring when you do recommend it.
275 : Cursed Anonymous >271 If we’re seriously talking about what’s good or bad, If you get something that fits your qualities or style, then that’s good, it’s a hit. A miss would be… mainly things that affect your vision or something that’s adapted to a specific environment. For now, just don’t pick anything that doesn’t show up in the semi-auto option
276 : Cursed Anonymous >275 Additional Information Changes To Vision : Affects your vision in ways such as increasing your eyes or giving you compound eyes. If you don’t have the aptitude for it, you won’t be able to endure the visual changes and end up tired or dizzy. Environmental Adaptations : Makes it easier for you to adapt to your special environment though changes like transforming your lower half into a fish, allowing you to levitate, having your skin resist heat, etc. At face value, it looks advantageous, but there’s nothing but disadvantages.
277 : Cursed Anonymous >276 Is it really that bad? Levitation sounds like it’d be great though.
278 : Cursed Anonymous >277 Levitation is by far the worst of them all. You can’t swing weapons properly, let alone walk for that matter. Even among the bad curses you could get, it’s a total dud. It’s to the point where you can consider dropping it even if it does show up in semi-auto. None of the players in the inspection team felt like they could handle dealing with it. Sure, you could say that it had its perks in being able to dodge things that were grounded, but there were still way too many drawbacks to it.
279 : Cursed Anonymous Uwaa…
280 : Cursed Anonymous If the inspection team went as far as to say that much about it, then…
281 : Cursed Anonymous I’m pretty sure the inspection team for『CNP』was rather open to anything and everything too…
282 : Cursed Anonymous >278 What if you had bird wings or something, still impossible? If you had that, I’d imagine you’d at least be able to move normally…
283 : Cursed Inspector >282 Already checked since it was an obvious combination and this was the conclusion, sorry, it’s not happening… orz. In the meantime, if there’s a player that’s able to handle levitation, I’d love to hear the trick behind it.
284 : Cursed Anonymous Inspection team, thanks for all the hard work, seriously…

CNP Event Thread @ 1
1 : Management This is a thread created with the purpose of talking about the events in Curse Nightmare Party In the case that a post is written in a way that contradicts public policy, it may very well be deleted under supervision of management. >950, take care of the next thread please.
…
122 : Cursed Anonymous I think the thread’s calmed down to a certain extent.
123 : Cursed Anonymous For sure.
124 : Cursed Anonymous Then, I suppose it’s about time we should sum everything up.
125 : Cursed Anonymous Official name : Official First Event,『Cursed Battlers Party』 Preliminaries : A battle royale consisting of 16 groups, each with over 1000 people. Main Competition : One-on-one tournament Held at the same time, a social gathering for the players, a spectating area, trade meets, and a promotional sit-in for guests with unpurchased accounts. Also, the normal map will be in maintenance during the duration of the event.
126 : Cursed Anonymous The preliminaries is a free-for-all where everyone is an enemy besides yourself. The map will be a mash-up of several terrains woven together. Initially, the zone is 10km x 10km and the curse concentration is 5. The map shrinks in 1 hour intervals while the curse concentration increases in 2 hour intervals. There will be sudden developments and surprises to ensure that the preliminaries remain proactive. Time acceleration will be 1 hour in real life = 3 hours in the spectator map = 24 hours in the special map.
127 : Cursed Anonymous Main Battle is a 1v1. Map is random. The area is 100m x 100m, curse concentration is 5. The time limit is 20 minutes (in-game time) and if it’s not settled by then, it’ll be judged through decision.
128 : Cursed Anonymous The top ranking players will receive a special title (with no special effects). Items that management regards as valuable even among the tradable items will be handed out as copies in accordance to rankings. Those selected to be in the main tournament are considered the top rankers.
129 : Cursed Anonymous I guess that’s about everything? There might’ve been some things I missed though.
130 : Cursed Anonymous Good work.
131 : Cursed Anonymous Okay, okay.
132 : Cursed Anonymous Thanks for the summary
133 : Cursed Anonymous Thanks for your hard work
134 : Cursed Anonymous >128 Ty, ty. Now, the main battle will probably turn into a serious contest and that’s all fine, but the preliminaries are a problem…
135 : Cursed Anonymous The preliminaries, huh… I can definitely see people focusing on someone that stands out and dropping them from the competition.
136 : Cursed Anonymous That’s just how it is with battle royales. Well, if there’s a player that poses a large threat, then of course others will try to work together to bring that player down, even if it meant co-operating with the enemy that was currently in front of you. Besides them, there’s also players who utilize teaming and players who like to third party…
137 : Cursed Anonymous >136 Then, aim for a backstab right? Got it. lol.
138 : Cursed Anonymous >136 I mean, even if we did team up for a bit, in the end everyone’s an enemy so if you’re gonna turn your back towards me… lol.
139 : Cursed Anonymous >136 If you’re gonna expose your behind and its full of openings, then I’ve got no choice but to go for it. lol.
140 : Cursed Anonymous >137 – 139 Not surprising, lol. Well, it’s enticing until we both go for it and then end up dead to a third party.
141 : Cursed Anonymous Given these rules, I guess it can’t be helped. Though, it’s more so the ‘surprises’ that scare me. I wonder what they have in store for us.
143 : Cursed Anonymous So management’s decided that shrinking the area of the map and increasing the curse concentration isn’t enough to propel the preliminaries forward…
144 : Cursed Anonymous Can I just be blunt here? Honestly, I’ve got nothing but bad feelings about this.
145 : Cursed Anonymous What a coincidence, same here.
146 : Cursed Anonymous I just hope the players that die are reduced to ashes and actually stay dead.
147 : Cursed Anonymous You sure about that? These people are the management team for the company, TopHunt, y’know.
148 : Cursed Anonymous Worst case scenario, it could end up being the surprise vs players with no winners from the players side.
149 : Cursed Anonymous The fact that I can’t even deny that is what makes it scary.
150 : Cursed Anonymous 『CNP』is the first game I’ve played from TopHunt, but are they really that bad?
151 : Cursed Anonymous >150 It’s bad.
152 : Cursed Anonymous >150 You should prepare yourself for what’s coming.
153 : Cursed Anonymous >150 Because things will never go smoothly the way you want it to…
154 : Cursed Anonymous >150 No matter the circumstances, don’t give up on your life.
155 : Cursed Anonymous >150 Move before you even think. Consider sacrificing your humanity.
156 : Cursed Anonymous >150 Pray. That way, you’ll die easy.
157 : Cursed Anonymous >151 – 156. I see, so for now, we should exert our efforts into making sure that the preliminaries go smoothly with proactive aggression… (eyes rolled back)

【Too Many】Map Exploration Thread @ 5【Dungeons】

782 : Cursed Anonymous S1 Desolate City. There’s something weird hanging off of this building. [Image]
783 : Cursed Anonymous The hell is that?
784 : Cursed Anonymous It looks like some kind of fern plant, but the stem is a vine?
785 : Cursed Anonymous I appraised it and apparently, it’s a plant called a dangling meat fern flower. By the way, the source of the vine was the dungeon that extended above the building. My abnormalities is at 5 so I believe it should show up in the screenshots but… how does it look? [Image] [Image]
786 : Cursed Anonymous Looks ok.
787 : Cursed Anonymous GJ, I can properly see all the way up to the dungeon.
788 : Cursed Anonymous Still, what with this plant? Or rather, why’s it coming out of the dungeon?
789 : Cursed Anonymous Who knows? In any case, it doesn’t seem like it would even sever if I pulled strongly on it. It’s pretty sturdy. I can’t see any similar plants around at the moment either. It looks like this guy’s the only one that’s descended this far.
790 : Cursed Anonymous Hmm? Maybe it got forced out by the geography inside?
791 : Cursed Anonymous Would something like that even happen?
792 : Cursed Anonymous According to what the residents say, some monsters or items can come out of the dungeons by themselves if certain conditions are met. That’s why they send out the city’s best to quickly deal with the dungeons nearby and shut them down. On top of that, it seems like they leave the further away dungeons to us players.
793 : Cursed Anonymous Hehh~
794 : Cursed Anonymous So that’s how it was?
795 : Cursed Anonymous In other words, if you ignore the dungeons for too long, monsters will start pouring out and it’ll likely lead to a big disaster…
796 : Cursed Anonymous Yeah, it seems like that’s the case. Which is why the residents will try to destroy the dungeons around the city as fast as possible. After all, they don’t really trust the players yet.
797 : Cursed Anonymous I’m switching back to the topic earlier, but in the end, what exactly is the dangling meat fern flower? Also, if I recall correctly, that dungeon was in a building where the lower floors were completely caved in so you can’t ascend up normally.
798 : Cursed Anonymous We’ll just have to wait for a follow-up report from the person who discovered the dangling meat fern flower. Ah, if possible, I’d like permission to repost it too. I wanna put it up on the plant information thread.
799 : Cursed Anonymous >797 Isn’t there a chance you could enter the dungeon by climbing up the fern?
800 : Cursed Anonymous I just had a horrible experience… >789 here. My friends and I were messing around with it when it suddenly bloomed. Then…
801 : Cursed Anonymous Then what?
802 : Cursed Anonymous What happened?
803 : Cursed Anonymous Ah, by any chance…
804 : Cursed Anonymous The smell of grilled meat filled the air around it and we were slaughtered by the monsters that were lured over by the smell. What even was that. No really, what was that. Roughly 10 monsters overwhelmed us and started eating us alive. It’s way too traumatic…
805 : Cursed Anonymous That sounds awful lol
806 : Cursed Anonymous So it’s a trap, isn’t it. lol
807 : Cursed Anonymous I mean, it is TopHunt after all…
808 : Cursed Anonymous Someone spread the word. This thing’s completely dangerous.
809 : Cursed Anonymous I figured something would happen, but that’s terrible. lol
810 : Cursed Anonymous Now that’s just brutal. lol
811 : Cursed Anonymous Uu, if you can put it to good use, you might be able to earn a lot of experience this way, but still…
812 : Cursed Anonymous In addition to gathering people for the demolition of the steel building… I guess we’re gonna need to include a recruitment for taking down the dungeon too.
