Chapter 79:

A Little R&R

We seemed to be getting closer now. Yuriko had been making sure to keep pace with me, aware of my asthma. Yet, now we were slowing down even more, stopping in our tracks. My eyes had attempted to adjust, but they could barely make out dim outlines. Just a shadow of Yuriko could be seen. We were before what seemed like a wall, but as we stepped forward, it opened, and I realized it had been a door.

The room beyond was also dark, but I could hear more than I could before. The sound of shifting as if people were moving about. "I-Is this a surprise party?" But, as we entered, the lights didn't come on. Instead, Yuriko led me inside where I felt another pair of hands.

They were familiar, and I knew them right away. Cecelia. Taking my hand in hers, the other hand ran along my arm as I felt her lean in close. A lilac scent arose from her, my heartbeat racing.

"Welcome, dear," Her voice rang in my ear softly, barely above a whisper as a shiver ran through my body, "Relax...you're in good hands."

Their hands began to remove every article of my clothing I had put on. Before I could complain, one of their fingers fell on my lips, silencing me. Satisfied I wouldn't protest, Cecelia peeled off my pants, and I couldn't help but blush as I felt her breath against my manhood through my underwear.

"We'll play another time," She whispered, giving it a soft kiss through my boxers.

I could hear Yuriko giggle softly as they began to redress me in different clothing. The material was soft and felt good against my skin. I simply went along with whatever was going on. Trusting in the two of them.

Once redressed, I was then guided again before being pushed down gently. It felt like I was going into the floor, but rather than a hard floor, soft cushions greeted me. Yuriko and Cecelia following me down as they took up one side each, arms wrapping around mine.

"Wh-What's going on?" I finally broke the silence, my words seeming louder than they were.

As if to answer my question, a dim light filled the room as I found before me Alana, smiling with a remote in her hand. To my left and right were Yuriko and Cecelia respectively. I realized then that I was on one of those sunken couches that filled the entire space, but in the center of this was a table set with snacks and drinks.

Nearby, waiting patiently with smiles on their faces were Sadia and Rosa. Everyone seemed to be in pajama shirts and pants, and I realized that what Cecelia had dressed me in was the same.

"Uncle," Alana smiled through the dim light, "This is our treat to you."

With a bounce in her step, she made her way over to us. Stepping down into the couch pit, she nestled between Yuriko and Me. The smell of brownies filled the air as Sadia leaned forward to uncover them. The treats on the table were many, but my eyes immediately fell on them.

"They're your favorite, right?" Alana asked, smiling up at me.

"Y-Yeah..." I nodded, overwhelmed with everything going on.

"Alana had this idea," Cecelia whispered, motioning to everything, "That you deserve a day where all of us just relaxed together."

"Y-You did?" Looking towards Alana, I was overwhelmed with emotion.

"I mean...Cecelia planned some of it as well," Alana shrugged modestly, "Sadia, Rosa, and Yuriko too."

"I was to escort you!" Yuriko exclaimed happily, pleased with herself.

Sadia and Rosa made their way closer, so we were all together. The windows of the room were covered with metallic shades. No light could filter through. The entire room was closed off, and it was cozy.

"But...why?" I asked, not quite following, "I relax every day. I don't do anything, you know?"

A silence fell over everyone as I realized the mistake I had said.

"I-I mean-" Before I could say another word, a brown was shoved in my mouth.

Working in unison, Sadia flawlessly handed it off to Cecelia for her to do so. The chocolate filled my mouth, its sweetness causing me to forget all complaints in the moment. Letting out a pleasurable food moan, I chewed happily, though did my best to glower at them all.

"Your kindness," Cecelia said.

"Your compassion," Sadia chimed in.

"Your attentiveness," Yuriko giggled.

"Your selflessness," Rosa spoke softly.

"Your love and generosity," Alana added, "All of this, and so much more."

"Yes, it can be bundled together," Cecelia dismissed before I could point it out, "But each side of you is sweet and kind. Loving and caring."

"Above all," Alana said with finality, "While you see us every day, we don't ever just all gather together like this. A day spent with everyone you care about. It's something you've wanted, isn't it?"

I felt the tears well up in my eyes as I looked around at everyone. Alana was right. I've wanted a day like this for a long time. A day where I didn't have to worry or think about the world. There was always something going on.

Cecelia was either working part of the day, and while I could ask her for time, I didn't want to bother her. I knew I could, but I always felt guilty. Rosa was doing schoolwork while Alana and Yuriko did their own thing. While we were in the same room, it just wasn't the same. Even Sadia, as she was my attendant and couldn't really rest.

I would read, content in that they were at least there, but to be able to actually have a day like this. No going out. No death threats. No gangs. No killing. No servants. Just a peaceful, relaxing day with everyone I cared for and loved.

The tears flowed freely then. Yuriko, Alana, and Cecelia hugging me firmly. They knew just what to do. I was so overwhelmed and touched that I just couldn't help myself. Sadia and Rosa looked on with warm smiles, understanding and empathetic.

There was a knot inside of me that I didn't know was there. It all came unraveled as I gave myself into the day. It was a slumber party of sorts. Everyone was in comfortable pajamas. We watched movies and anime, even some TV shows that I myself enjoyed. I felt like they were a bit boring for them, but they seemed to be invested in the documentaries on history, mythology, and all the other theories out there.

With the warmth of everyone in the room filling my heart, and the snacks filling my stomach, I found myself sinking further into a state of relaxation. I could barely keep my eyes open. I felt so comfortable, safe, and loved that I could only think of this as a dream.

"Thank you...everyone," I whispered softly, tiredness taking me, "I...love you....all..."

With blankets around me, and the arms of my loved ones, I could no longer fight the call of sleep. Surrounded by those I cared for most at this time, I was at the most peaceful I have been in a long time.
