Chapter 94:

An Invitation

Cecelia Meredith Williams Ishikawa-Alden. You've probably heard of the name before. Whether in passing conversation or around the corporate water cooler. Maybe even heard it mentioned in the news once or twice. She is the head of the Ishikawa-Alden Family and the megacorp of the same name.

She is many things. A businesswoman, model, philanthropist, a killer, and above all, my wife. She is tender and sweet, yet deadly to those who insult me. She is tempered in her actions, but some things she can never excuse. Yet, this would not be the case if it wasn't for the name she had.

Ishikawa-Alden. A legacy spanning many generations. One I, admittedly, didn't know much about. Despite being such a public family, leading the world in everything we consume, there wasn't much really known about them. They are an old family who rose to power even before the Eco-Conversion, but afterwards, the world was theirs.

I often found it hard, as you may know, to believe such a woman exists, let alone loves and cares for me so much she'd dangle someone off the roof as they threatened me. One of the newer hires. Approaching me after the meeting, he attempted to greet me, but in truth he was jealous.

He had attempted to rise in the ranks for a chance to meet with the famed Cecelia Ishikawa-Alden. A bonafide stalker. I was in no danger. Cecelia had hired him just for this purpose. She already had a replacement for him.

"No one," She said coolly, "Can replace Alex. However...you are replaceable."

With a look of contempt in her eyes, she said one last thing before dropping him, "Disgusting."

The scream as he fell sent a shiver through me, but more than that was the sound of my beating heart as Cecelia turned her cool gaze upon me. The obsession, a fever hotter than the sun, burned in her eyes. Sadia held me safely, but as Cecelia approached, she relinquished me into her arms.

Pulling me close, Cecelia kissed me deeply, her hands holding my head preciously. Her body against mine sent my heart racing even faster. I was at their mercy ever since Sadia became healthy once more. Her recovery started a change of events that sparked much embarrassment on my end.

I was at their mercy. Her and Cecelia knew all of my weaknesses. Backed against the wall, hand under my chin, and fingers through my hair. I was puddy in their hands. Sometimes, they'd walk up behind me while reading or playing a game, and run their hands through my hair. They'd pull my head back gently as they kissed me. Leaving me a completely hot mess.

They weren't the only ones. Though Scarlett was a bit different, I danced to her tune none the less. Just a single look and she'd get what she wanted. I often berated myself for how easily I was manipulated by them all, but I didn't hate it. After all, they truly loved me, and the attention I got from the three of them was everything I ever wanted.

Of course, that didn't mean I couldn't still die of embarrassment. Alana and Rosa were relentless in their teasing of me. Playfully making remarks about it all. Meanwhile, they seemed to have grown much closer. It made me happy to see.

However, as the first month of spring wore on, the weight of just who Cecelia was would dawn on me as an invitation was sent to the high-rise. An old fashioned invitation. A thick envelope of the highest quality, stamped with the seal of the Ishikawa-Alden Family. On the front, written in beautiful ink and handwriting were written the words: To My Lovely Daughter and Her Mysterious Husband.

-----

Though I wasn't that big of a mystery, it goes without saying that I had yet to meet Cecelia's mother. In fact, I didn't even know her name. Cecelia would always call her mother, and so I just never asked. Cecelia seemed to have been expecting the invitation as she opened it with a smile, reading out loud its contents.

Dearest Daughter, Cecelia.

I hope this letter finds you well. I have sent it via personal messenger, so its contents are safe. Do not worry.

As requested, all preparations were made. I look forward to seeing you again, as well as meeting that husband of yours. Alex, was it? I remember how often you'd pine for him. It tore at your mother's heart and soul seeing you so forlorn.

Yet, every time you spoke of him, your face simply glowed. I am aware of your obsession, but to not have brought him home to meet me in all this time? Now that you are here, I gave you ample time to help him settle in.

Make ready, for the manor awaits.

Much Love, Your Mother

Duchess Yumei Andrea Ishikawa-Alden

As she finished the letter, Cecelia sighed, rolling her eyes.

"She always did say too much..." Glancing at me, she smiled lovingly, "Well, my dear...now you know. I brought you here to meet my mother."

My heart raced as I began to grow both excited and anxious. "Her mother..." I wondered what kind of person she would be, and what these preparations were.

"She said she's a duchess?" I asked, quite shocked as I tried to gather myself.

"Ah...yes," Cecelia smiled rather sheepishly, "I was going to wait on that...after all, you're still adjusting to knowing I lead the Ishikawa-Alden Family and corporation."

I felt touched at her consideration for me, but it was too late for me to be hidden from the world. Everything would come at me fast, and many surprises awaited me, I'm sure.

"I-It's fine..." I smiled coyly, "I have you and everyone else to help me through anyways...But, what does that make you?"

"Well..." Cecelia looked towards Scarlett who clung to my arm, "I am the Grand Duchess of our Estate, and Scarlett there is a Duchess as well. Julius...he's a Duke, just so you're not too shocked."

To be honest, I was quite shocked, but not surprised. It was like when you're already in the deep end. The water was cold at first, but now you're used to it...until you go beneath the surface and your head is reminded of the shock of the cold. You knew it was coming, but it still hits you.

"Well...damn," I let out a breath, looking between the two of them, "I guess I'm in the presence of nobility..."

"Heh, perhaps," Cecelia walked over to me, sitting on my other side as she draped one leg over the other, "Titles are often given to those who do good work in the world. Who raise high and do great deeds. Some, just for accepting a position."

She was right. The world worked on titles now more than ever. To have a title in your name was to garner respect and status. The lowest titles being "Sir" and "Madam" followed by "Knight". There were others, but too many to list. The high and mighty lorded their titles over others, and many sought to obtain them.

In the past, titles often held less weight than they had in the really ancient days of the world. Now, it's all made a comeback. It made sense that Cecelia, head of the Ishikawa-Alden Family, also had a title.

"Our family goes back many generations," Scarlett explained, nuzzling up against me, "We started out as the Alden Family. A small noble family of ancient times."

"You did?" I was awed to know that, as I always thought they were just a corporation.

"Mhm!" Scarlett nodded, happy to have explained something I didn't know, "Then, somewhere in history one of our ancestors married into the Ishikawa Clan of Japan."

"Our families merged," Cecelia explained quietly, almost like she was reminiscing, "No longer were the two families separate entities, but one large family. The Ishikawa-Alden Family. The Alden Family was the lead, so the name goes last, but all were treated as equals."

"Yep!" Scarlett beamed, "Our history is really long, but our family worked hard."

"I-I see..." I was awed to learn that their family went back to ancient times, "To think...you have such a long history."

"We do," Cecelia confirmed, brushing my cheek affectionately, "You really love history, don't you?"

"Y-Yeah," I blushed, pressing my face against her hand, "It fascinates me. Learning where things came from, and how we got to today...It's interesting to think of the world as it was, and to see how far we are now. I love history."

"I know," Cecelia smiled that yandere smile.

Of course she would know everything about me, and it made me feel all warm inside.

"You'll learn more soon," She said, leaning in close to me, "Anything you want, Alex...you'll have. Any questions, answered."

Her hand ran along my chest as I soon found myself at the mercy of both her and Scarlett.

"Anyone you want...you'll have," Her words were filled with lust.

"Celia~..." Scarlett called out playfully, "Alex looks stressed...should we help him?"

"Oh...We simply must~" Cecelia answered back.

I took one look at Scarlett's pleading eyes and Cecelia's seductive gaze, and found myself at their mercy. In that moment, all I wanted was them. Their legacy was heavy as it weighed down on me, and I in turn went down on them.
