Surprisingly they both agreed to get lunch.
The cafeteria was still full, but there were a few empty tables.
We had got some food and the three of us sat at a table.
We were all pretty quiet, probably because of our personalities. There were some other students looking at us though. Who would’ve thought that the crown prince and the duke’s son would be acquainted?
I decided to break the silence
“I don’t think I've properly met the both of you.”
They’ve probably met each other before. I think it’s fair to assume the prince and the duke's son would have met before.
“My name is Leo Vondheart, nice to meet you two.”
“My name’s Taku Frostborn, you as well.”
“...I’m Ian Vandersun...Nice to... meet you...”
…
It went silent again.
I didn’t really know how to keep a conversation going, it was probably the same for these two as well. Having Kazu here would probably be great right now.
“What classes did you guys pick?”
“Swordsmanship, Mana Control, and Combat Magic.”
“...I picked the same.”
“Oh, cool.”
Fuck. Why’d I say ‘Oh, cool.’ The fuck is wrong with me?
“So, you both probably would have all your extra classes together.”
“Probably.”
…
There was nothing to talk about. How do you make conversation?
“What are you guys going to do after lunch?”
“I’ll probably go train.”
“...Same.”
“What about you?”
“I’m going to probably ask Ms. Brent to show me different styles.”
“Goodluck finding your style.”
“Thanks.”
“Goodluck to both of you with training.”
“Thank you.”
We finished eating shortly after and I started walking towards the teacher’s office. I figured she’d probably be there.
On my way there I could overhear some people yelling.
It sounded like Kazu.
“What are you doing!?”
“Teaching the commoners a lesson.”
I peeked around the corner and could see 4 first years surrounding Kazu, Ayaka, and someone else who was on the ground.
I was about to walk away before I heard Rio yell.
“Just leave us alone!”
“Huh? Do you want to get hit again?”
It was Rio, he was the one that was on the ground.
My heart tensed; did he say hit ‘again’?
“What’s wrong with you!?” Kazu yelled
“What’s your problem?” Ayaka said
“You commoners make me s-”
He dropped to the ground
I had kicked him in the nuts with all my might, I was fucking mad.
Before the other 3 could react, I had thrown a brick at one of their heads. Then rushed one of them. I don’t know why but I felt stronger. I had punched him in the gut which caused him to gag, quickly after I punched him in the chin knocking him out.
The last one started to speak-
“Wait! Wait!”
I didn’t give a fuck about what he had to say.
“Leo! Stop!”

It was Rio.
I stopped, I didn’t punch him, but he fell to the ground on his own.
“You fucking dirtbags.”
“If I see you again your fucking dead.”
“Take your friends and get out.”
The one I had kicked in the nuts was back up and the both of them had grabbed their knocked-out friends and ran away.
“Are you alright?”
“I’m fine but what about you!”
“Why’d you do that!?”
“You’re gonna get in trouble!”
Rio seemed mad. But he started to cry.
“It’s alright.”
“What about you two? Are you both okay?”
I asked Kazu and Ayaka
“We’re fine...But are you okay?” Kazu said
“You’re going to get in trouble, you know that right?” Ayaka had a stern voice
“Probably.”
“How are you so calm?”
“Because I didn’t do anything wrong.”
Rio was still crying.
“We’re gonna head to bed, goodnight to you both.”
I picked Rio up and started to walk away.
“Goodnight...”
“Those guys were nobles from Class B.”
I had looked back
“So?”
“They were being backed by some seniors.”
“And?”
“They’re probably going to try and ambush you!”
“So what?”
“What?”
“I’ll kick their ass again.”
Though realistically I’d probably get my ass beat, there was no way I could win against the seniors just yet.
---
I had brought Rio to his bed and left him alone. He seemed a little out of it. I should’ve hit those bastards harder...
Class B... How unlucky. The few dickwad nobles I added in my novel tried to bully Rio. They were probably going to tell a teacher that I jumped them, I didn’t really have any defense. I did jump them, and if I said it was because they were bullying my brother, they’d probably say something stupid like I should’ve told a teacher.
Oh well, I probably wouldn’t get expelled just yet.
Those guys were being backed by some seniors... I didn’t remember writing anything about that, did the world do it by itself? I had made it so that it was an unwritten rule that the higher grades didn’t fuck with any of the lower grades. It was frowned upon. Which dumbass would break that rule?
I was sitting on a couch in the lounge. Taku had entered
“Oh hey.”
“Hello Leo.”
“How’d your training go?”
“It was good. Did you find your style yet?”
“Nope, I got in trouble.”
“Huh? Why’d you get in trouble?”
“I beat some kids up for bullying my brother.”
“Why’d you get in trouble for that? If someone was bullying my sister, I’d attack them too.”
Oh... Wait a minute... I might just have gotten lucky.
“Your sister was there as well; she was being bullied too.”
“What?”
