2 Weeks Later...
Slowly getting up, I stretched my arms wide. I could hear my back crack a little as I moved.
Haah, I yawned.
It was Saturday, the day that Kathryn asked to join her in doing something.
I got up from my messy bed, the items I requested for my room had arrived a week ago.
The bed was overrun by pillows and blankets, each of them being comfier than the basic ones we received.
In the corner of my room was a bookshelf with tons of books, most of them laying around everywhere other than the bookshelf.
Surprisingly the quality of books here were great, they had all different kinds of genres, from fantasy to mystery to most genres I could think of. There was even one about slaying a dragon, which, if I think about it, since there are monsters/demons here, could that be true? I’ve never written about a dragon slayer in the original novel, so it might be some history I’ve no clue of, or it could just be some for some random child’s excitement.
Haah, I should clean my room. It turns out that the more stuff you have the harder it is to keep clean, who’d have known.
I began to pick up the books one by one and put them back on the shelf.
Assassin Reincarnated...
Unfallen...
Living as a Prince...
Doo Scoob...
Ah, this one was my personal favorite... The Sky Is Black.
I guess I’ll keep that one on my desk for now.
I could hear a knock at my door.
Oh, I forgot, it’s time to run. I guess I’ll clean up later.
I quickly got dressed and opened the door.
“Good morning, Leo!”
“Good morning!”
Outside the door was Rio and Kazu, they both were as energetic as ever.
“Morning.”
After that we headed to the track and did our daily run.
…
Haah, I yawned as the cold water brushed against my skin.
I could never really figure out if I were supposed to use the shampoo or conditioner, so I just put them both on.
At the same time, I also brushed my teeth. It was just a habit to save water that I couldn’t forget.
Kathryn asked me to sing and play the piano, does that mean it’s some kind of party? Agh, a noble’s party? I don’t even think the clothes I got last time even fit me anymore.
Pbbt, I rumbled my lips.
Fuck it, I’ll just wear some comfortable clothes. I don’t understand why you always got to be so fancy as a noble. If I get yelled at, I’ll just say that Kathryn never told me.
I shrugged my shoulders.
But singing and playing the piano... Hm... I should probably get a new song to sing... I was asked why ‘B Alright’ is the only song I sing. I mean I had sung some other songs like ‘Cinderella,’ but some people got mad at me. Even though no one in this world knows what ‘Cinderella’ is... I mean, it wasn’t like that song was made for Kathryn, I was just singing a song I liked...
Haah, I’ll have to write down some lyrics... What to write about though...
I turned off the water and stepped out of the shower.
I looked at the foggy mirror before grabbing a towel and drying myself off.
Do I even have any clothes to wear? That thought came to my mind as I checked my dresser.
Practically empty... Should I just wear my uniform? You know what... Yeah, I’ll do that.
I got dressed and stretched my arms wide.
There were still a few hours before 2 P.M. I could start reading a book or something... Eh, I guess I’ll write some lyrics actually...
I got a piece of paper and a pencil and sat at the desk.
I exhaled a deep breath and leaned back in my chair.
What to write about...

A few minutes later, I was mindlessly staring at the ceiling.
I could hear a knock at my door.
Haah, I could use a break.
I looked down at the blank piece of paper before getting up and opening the door.
“Leo!”
It was Rio.
“Hey.”
“You’re not doing anything until 2, right?” Rio asked.
“Not a thing. I was just gonna relax in my room.”
“Can I join you!?”
“Sure.”
I opened the door and headed back to the desk.
As Rio entered, he looked surprised.
“Woah! You decorated your room?”
“A little, go and lay down, the blankets and pillows are really comfy.”
“Sure!”
Rio jumped on the bed before cocooning himself with the blankets and pillow.
“This is really comfy!” He looked happy.
I let out a little chuckle before speaking.
“Yup.”
I looked back at the piece of paper and rested my cheek on my hand.
Hm...
“Woah, that’s a lot of books. Do you like reading, Leo?”
I looked back at him and spoke.
“I like it a lot. Do you want to borrow some?”
“Yes! Please lend me your recommendation!” Rio looked happy
“Sure, sure.”
I looked back at the piece of paper.
“This is...”
I looked back at Rio who was looking at the photo of us on my nightstand.
“Me and you?”
To be honest, I’ve no clue when that picture was taken. I had asked for a photo of Rio and I in my room request sheet and that’s what they gave me.
It was a good photo, so I kept it, but I was a little weirded out by the fact they just had that lying around. It also makes me wonder about the limit of stuff I could ask for. Should I mess around and find out? Hm... Later...
Rio looked like he was about to cry before he wiped his eyes.
“Where could I get one!?”
“Ask on your room request sheet. They’ll probably give you whatever you want, mostly at least. I’d recommend the blankets and pillows though for sure.”
“I’ll go write it right away!”
Rio immediately jumped up and left my room.
I looked back at the piece of paper.
I wonder if I could ask for a snake...
I heard a knock on my door a few minutes later.
