Chapter 32: Chapter 29: Old Friends Reunite

After arriving at the Stardust Manor, the home of Astraea and her familia, I knocked on the front door.

Our goal today is to reunite Athena with her old friend, and also build a working relationship with the goddess of Justice and her familia so that we can fight against Evilus together in the future.

A minute after I knocked on the front door it was opened.

When it was, all of us were greeted to quite the sight.

Kaguya in nothing but her underwear.

A black lacey bra and pantie set to be more specific.

Which if I am being honest brings out her beauty even more.

But that's not the real point right now.

What the real point is, is why is she answering the door in her underwear? That's dangerous in so many ways it's not even funny.

Seeing her standing there a blush appeared on my face.

Now I'm really glad I haven't truly hit puberty yet, otherwise my other head would definitely be trying to stand at attention right now.

I am not the only one is affected.

The others have blushes of varying shades of red on their faces as well. Ryuu in particular has steam coming out of the top her head.

But since she is an elf, and their species dislikes showing skin to others as much as possible it makes sense Kaguya's appearance right now is frying her brain.

"Yes, how can I help you?" Kaguya asked us. Not embarrassed at all about her current appearance.

'She must have nerves of steel.' I thought. Either that, or she's an exhibitionist.

"Hey, put some clothes on!" Rogue shouted.

"Huh?" Kaguya mused. "And why do I need to do that? I'm am inside my own home after all."

"And there are people standing in front of you." Rogue retorted. Doing his best to look anywhere but at Kaguya's body. "People you don't know."

"Your point." Kaguya said.

"Shut, please put some clothes on?" Rogue asked her. "Otherwise I don't think any of us will be able to focus. Right guys?"

"Yep."

"Yes."

"True."

"Nhn."

"Exactly."

"Sorry, but I don't want to. It's too hot right now." Kaguya retorted to our pleas for her to dress herself.

Just as she did so someone grabbed her from behind and pulled her inside away from our eyes.

"Hey, Neze, Lyra, what are you two doing?!" Kaguya shouted.

"Trying to keep you from giving our visitors heart attacks." Neze replied.

"Yeah." Lyra added.

"Hey, put me down. Put me down." Kaguya said, her voice getting farther and farther away.

As it did so two new people appeared in the front doorway.

The captain of the familia, Alise Lovell, and her goddess. Astraea.

Looking at the dark-haired goddess I have to say she is beautiful no doubt.

"Sorry about that." Alise said.

"Yes, please forgive that girl." Astraea told us. A wry smile on her face as she did so. "Usually she's a lot more...presentable than that."

"Sure. It's no problem." I said. The heat in my cheeks finally disappearing. "Anyway greetings to you goddess Astraea." I told her. "My name is Morax Lapis, captain of the Athena familia. And the reason I have come here today is because my goddess wishes to reunite with her old friend." I explained.

I then moved out of the way, and Athena stepped forward.  A smile on her face. "Hello Astraea."

"Ah, Athena so good to see you." Astraea happily said.

The two goddess's then shared a brief hug. Astraea then beckoned us inside.

"Please, come in?" She asked us.

So that's exactly what we did.

Once inside the Stardust Manor Astraea and Alise led us to a living room, and everyone took a seat.

Then as soon as we did so Alise snapped her fingers.

"Hey, aren't you guys the ones from before?" She asked us. "The ones we helped in dealing with those thugs on that day?"

"Yeah, we sure are." I told her. "Again, thanks for that."

"No problem." Alise said. "By the way the name is Alise Lovell. A pleasure to meet you all." She said.

We all nodded at her words.

"Yes, nice to meet you all." Astraea told us. "I am the goddess Astraea." She said. "So, what brings you all here today?"

"Like my child Morax said, its so we could reunite and catch up." Athena spoke up. She then put a serious expression on her face. "But also, we would like to enter in an alliance with you and your familia, in order to fight against Evilus."

At the mention of that name both Alise and Astraea got serious expressions on their faces.

"I see. So you all also seek to fight that darkness?" Astraea asked us.

"We do." Leonmitchelli said.

"Yeah." I added. "And we're not going to back down." I told her. "But we know going at it alone is insanely reckless. So, goddess Astraea I ask you, will you and your familia work with us?"

Astraea said nothing for several seconds, and simply looked at me.

Until she put a smile on her face.

"It would be my honor to work with you all." Astraea told us. "But my daughters also deserve their say."

"I'm fine with it." Alise said. She then came over to me and offered me her hand. "Let's get along."

"Sure." I said. "But, shouldn't you ask your other familia members first before making this decision?"

"It's fine. I'll ask them later." Alise told me.

As she did so I simply shook her hand, a wry smile on my face.

Well, at least working with her will never be boring.

Once the alliance was verbally agreed to Alise decided to show us around her home while Athena and Astraea caught up in private.

While we walked around Stardust Manor we were introduced to the other members of the familia. We even saw Kaguya again, but thankfully this time she was fully clothed.

And wearing a grumpy expression on her face.

Coming up to us she let some choice words fly, which ended up getting under Rogue's skin and thus the two of them got into a verbal spat.

Though things didn't get physical thankfully.

If that had happened Rogue would've had his ass handed to him hands down.

Not only is Kaguya a higher-level than him. But she learned many different deadly techniques from her family in the Far East, seeing as how they were basically a family of assassins' for the goddess Amaterasu.

So I will do my best to never make her truly angry.

Eventually the two of them stopped arguing, and once they did Alise mentioned the alliance we formed. Which put her into another verbal spat with Kaguya.

All of us just let them be.

Until eventually they stopped as all.

The moment they did Athena and Astraea came to find us, and our familia left the Stardust Manor.

Heading back towards our own home.

Getting ready to make the final preparations for our first dungeon expedition.
