One week later.

With the home built, they needed to furnish the home.

"Let’s see... hmm, some beds and futons, drawers, tables, chairs... so much stuff." said Cirrus.

"We can help with that," said Aomi. "Akeru, tell the villagers!"

They slowly but surely started to fill the home enough to actually call it home. After it was well furnished everyone left leaving three people in the home.

 

The time for Cirrus's punishment had come at last as he and Ai sit in a room with Artemis.

"So um... What is it gonna be, Lady Artemis."

"She is building her resolve to say it, Cirrus." Ai said next to Cirrus.

"Hmm…I had so much time, yet it's still hard to say…" Artemis was fidgeting a bit.

This was a first seeing Artemis being so nervous.

"Oh, Aphrodite gave me this!" She went and got an incense pot with a clam and a pearl on it, Aphrodite’s Familia emblem. "She said this helps with stress!" Ai lights it, and a pleasant fragrance soothes their nerves.

"Haaa…that’s a bit better, so for your punishment, Cirrus!" Artemis said, standing before him. "Is that you have to take responsibility and marry me!" Her face was flushed red. "So be my Orion!!"

"…."

A silence fell on the room as Cirrus really tried to process this.

'???????????????' His brain was firing off on all cylinders. 'Artemis, marriage!?!? That...that hm??' To Cirrus, Artemis and marriage were two things he didn't think would be in the same sentence. An anomaly.

Of course, her and Orion's accounts were the closest to his situation, despite being lightyears apart. No matter how you cut it, Orion always dies in the end and gets placed in the heavens as a constellation.

'D-does this mean I'm going to get killed by a scorpion!? No, no if anything, Artemis is-oh yeah, she already shot me.'

He was in a pickle. To be with Artemis is to be her Orion, and to be Orion is to be killed by the divine.

To Cirrus, this was effectively a massive death flag.

"A-Ai did you know of…" Cirrus turned to see Ai looking away, but she nodded. "And you, Lady Artemis, why did you decide on this to be my punishment?"

"Since you adore Ai here, I figured out what better way to severely punish you than to marry me, Orion!"

‘And also because I love you!! and the other moon gods won’t try and punish you first!! Wait? Wait?? Was I always so open???’

The scent of the incense changes ever so slightly.

"I...understand." Cirrus made a conflicted expression. "That... that does hurt me."

"!!"

Both Artemis and Ai flinched a bit at Cirrus’s expression.

"B-but Cirrus!" said Ai. "Me, Aphrodite, and Nox discussed it with Artemis on the punishment, and we managed to lighten it!"

"Lighten it? How?"

"Well, I'm sure Ai can say it."

Cirrus turned to look at Ai as she puffed her chest up. A smile appeared on her face.

"Since what you did was an accident!" Ai's smile grew ear to ear. "I will be your second wife!!" she proclaimed.

"Eh?"

‘Eh?’

Cirrus turned his head, really trying to process the information, but he felt his mind slow down a bit.

A pleasant scent lingered in the air.

'Mmm? Why is my head getting fuzzy? What is that smell in the--"

"Y-yes!" said Artemis, cutting off Cirrus's thinking. "Seeing as you did it to stop a magic attack that was used to slay the Leviathan, I cannot hold it against you, so I find it fair that you at least get to stay with your beloved." Artemis then kneels as well. "So I hope you can share with me a fraction of the love you have with Ai."

Cirrus tries to recollect his time with Artemis. He can say he did like her, but her myth did keep him away, as he had thought Artemis was asexual. After all, in most of her myths, she was the one to kill Orion after he tried to get with her friends, and the notion of her and Orion being tragic lovers was played up over the years, as the theme of being tragic lovers made it more popular among the people.

The scent changes again, so slightly that no one notices that it's now a more sweet smell.

'There is no getting around this. This is a deal I really can't refuse.'

He took a deep breath and went through with it with the dedication to not follow in Orion's footsteps and to live as long as he could.

"Lady...no Artemis," Cirrus said with more confidence. "I accept this punishment on one sole condition."

"And...that is?" she said, looking up to meet his eyes.

"Do not call me Orion. Call me Cirrus." He said, gazing into her eyes.

The first step to not dying is to distance himself from Orion as much as he can.

"V-very well, Cirrus!" Artemis said, with starry eyes and a blushed face.

Thump-thump!!

"And will you, Ai." He looked to meet her eyes as he did with Artemis. "Be my second wife?"

A warm smile grew on Ai's and Artemis' faces.

"Cirrus!!" Ai said, jumping on Cirrus in sheer excitement.

"Oof! Ai, why are you--!!" Cirrus could see the look in her eyes; he had seen it before.

"Huff! huff! Cirrus~♥!"

Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!!

"A-Ai--!?"

He could start to feel his own body starting to heat up and his mind starting to narrow down his thoughts even faster.

Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!!

"Cirrus…" said Artemis, coming next to him.

"A-Artemis t-the incense is--!"

She leaned in and kissed Cirrus passionately.

Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!! Thump-thump!!

He could taste and feel the softness and tenderness of her plump lips, and he could even smell the scent in her hair, which was of the forest and clean water. It mixed with Ai’s and the increased smell got Cirrus as if he had gotten his soul drunk from a love goddess’s charm.

‘Ah~’ This was the final nail in the coffin. His mind was slipping away. ‘Aph...ro…dite.’

His body felt heavy and sluggish as he drowned in pleasure.

Ai and Artemis started to fall deeper and deeper as with each kiss and removal of clothes, their sanity slowly melted away, but when Ai and Cirrus saw Artemis’s naked form.

It was as if they had stepped across the boundary and into the divine. It was as beautiful as nature itself, but her being naked was something he knew a man should never have seen. He had thought Artemis would be cloaked in a wild fury, but no, she looked at him and Ai with eyes and a smile of affection.

For Ai, she had seen her naked many times, but under this new light, she really was like the moon in all of its glory within arm's reach.

The two adventures entered the Divine and will return with a taste of it.

"Ahh~♥!"

 

Looking out of a window Aphrodite, Nox, and Rethusa looked towards Ai, Cirrus, and now Artemis’s home and smiled.

"Yup! It worked alright!" Nox said, cutting off her connection to Cirrus.

"Fufufu…There are now only two Virgin Goddesses...No wait, wouldn’t Astraea take her place?" Aphrodite exclaimed joyfully.

"You don’t plan on getting her as well, do you, Lady Aphrodite?" said Rethusa, sitting next to her.

"I couldn’t see it." Nox said.

"Me neither." Aphrodite nodded in agreement. "She isn’t as ignorant as Artemis is, but well, I really don’t wanna test my luck with her." She looked at Rethusa. "I am surprised you helped your goddess to know the pleasures of the flesh? Do you also wish to taste the fruit your goddess forbade for so long?" she said with a grin.

"She already had those feelings, she just couldn’t interpret them given how foreign she is to it, and also, we also wanted to have love in our lives as well. But what did you put in that incense to...  you know? have Lady Artemis do that?"

"Just my little secret blend! A few changes here and there and it worked as a truth agent and a little bit of a aphrodisiac to really push things along!"

"...You know Artemis is going to get you for this right Aphro?" Nox said.

"Let me enjoy my day!! Alright everyone!! Let’s celebrate!!!!" she said, getting up and turning to everyone in her home. "Celebrate me as heaven's greatest love goddess!!!"

"Yes!! And let us celebrate Cirrus!! For being the best adventurer in the world for having conquered one of heaven’s former three virgin goddesses!!!" Nox shouted.

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

 

The following afternoon.

"…" Artemis wakes to find herself warmly in the arms of Cirrus and Ai.

Their warm bodies and the touch of their skins bring her slight peace before she remembers what they did.

"!!" She quickly jolted up and looked around to find she was naked and there was a bloodstain on the tatami mat. She recalled taking Cirrus's in, but the pain was washed away by the euphoria.

'Was he really that big? My hips are a bit sore and... I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. Mmm... Was it a few hundred years ago when I damaged my hymen from hunting that monster, jumping ravines, over fallen trees, or was it riding my horse? Mmm... I did so much strenuous stuff... But what could have caused us to just--' She smelled a strong lingering scent and looked to find the pot where the incense came from.

"... Aphrodite. I’m going to--!"

She was suddenly dragged backward by Cirrus.

"Mmm…warm…"

"I-I need to go and--!"

Ai came in closer and hugged Artemis tightly.

"Mmm…soft…"

"Hggg!!!" she blushed heavily as her breasts come against her bareback.

She was trapped by a level eight and a level six. She couldn’t escape.

'Well...it's not too... bad...'

In her captivity, she succumbed to the warmth and comfort these two provided and fell asleep again.
