A bit after Ryuu and Astraea went their own separate ways,
Lenoa’s shop.
"Hmm…I think we should use less; it would give it less of a bad aftertaste." said Circe.
"But then it would lose some of its effectiveness! I’ll be dammed if my potions aren't good!" said Lenoa.
"It won’t lose effectiveness! The Sapphire Mint just gives it its blue look and taste!"
The two were currently arguing over some new potions when they heard a knock on the door.
Knock!
Knock!
"We are open! Come in!" said Circe, taking the desk.
Entering was Astraea, drenched by the rain.
"Sorry for coming in so late…" she said, looking very down.
"What’s the matter, Lady Astraea?" Circe expressed concern about him approaching her with a towel.
"…Um well it’s hard for me to say since…"
Circe could see how hard she was trying to hold back her tears.
"W-what wrong… D-did something happen?"
"Um... just today... I learned that…all my children, except for Lion... are dead."
"….Eh????"
Her words sounded foreign to her ears; she couldn’t understand what she said. She felt dizzy, as if she had been hit by a bat to the head.
"W-what are you talking about? T-that doesn’t make any—"
"They're gone Circe…" Astraea clenches her teeth and fists. "They…went down to the 22nd floor to save a party but…it was a trap set by Evilus, and sadly, we couldn’t recover their bodies. The fragments used monster-attracting items and explosions…"
Her words were like poison-tipped daggers; with each word, Circe wanted to rip her ears off.
"I’ll tell Cirrus and he will—"
"No."
Her words left Circe in a stun.
"W-what!? You can’t be serious! They are his Familia! His own comrades!!! Sisters!!! I’m his spirit for fucks sake!! How can I not tell him something like this!!" Circe was on the verge of tears.
"…He left because he was tired of the city. He had been protecting the city since he was 7 and his time in the desert did a lot to him. We saw what happened when he lost his temper, I don’t want to unleash that upon the city."
"…Is this your request as his goddess."
"…No this is a request from a person who truly cares for him. Please do not tell him. I want him to remain where is he with his loved one."
"Kuh!!" Circe clenches her fists in anger and punches the wall. "Fine…" She agreed begrudgingly.
"Thank you." She gracefully bows one last time. "And hopefully I'll see you again in the future." She turned around and began to walk out the door.

"…How fucking dare you." She was biting her lips in anger as tears began to fall.
Astraea came to a complete halt.
"First Lili took it upon herself to deal with her Familia and now this… Thud!!" She hit the wall again, causing her fist to bleed.
"…I am sorry." She walked out the door, disappearing into the rain.
Her tears would not stop as she would hear of the rampage Ryuu went on the following days.
Explosions filled the city once again. Several people were targeted and killed by Ryuu using all the tricks and techniques Lyra, Kaguya, and Cirrus had shown her unintentionally.
One month later, in some back alley in Orario on a rainy night Ryuu finished what she set out to do.
She had thoroughly brought down whatever remaining fragments of Evilus remained that she could find and hit.
In doing this, she lost her reason to keep going. She fell off her oath of justice so hard her past self would have sneered at her, along with the grief of losing people she saw as family, sisters.
Pitter-patter!
Pitter-patter!
Pitter-patter!
‘Finally…I have finished it…’
Ryuu slowly walked along a wall to keep herself up from her injuries.
‘I killed all who were connected to the Familia’s who took them away from us… My revenge is complete…’
She lets herself go and falls to the ground; a pool of blood slowly starts to form.
‘…Cirrus…I’m sorry I couldn’t be as strong as you…nor could I stay on my path… Please...' Her eyes began to grow darker. She could see what would happen if Cirrus learns of her fate. "Please... Do not cry when you learn of this… Please," the thought only goes to sting her already broken heart. "…Astraea…I’m sorry I failed…’
Her mind slowly started to drift off as she could see Alise’s back.
‘……Alise... Is it my time to—' She reached for her back but as she was about to grab her shoulder she cut through it all.
'It's not you time you stupid elf!!' Alise shouted punching Ryuu back.
"Are you all right?"
"!?!?"
A voice cuts its way through to Ryuu’s ears.
‘….? Who is…’
She extended her hand and held Ryuu’s hand.
‘Kaguya... It seems... You saved me... One last time.'
Her eyes shut and the elf reunited with her Familia only in dreams.
