Ottar gets up as his Beastification wears off and he regained more of his clear mind.

“You have a good punch; I could feel your weight in it.” Ottar said brushing off the dust off of him.

“I can say the same, my endurance stat is something I’m rather quiet proud of!” Cirrus then changed the spear back into a two-handed great sword. “Haa…sorry but I don’t think I can use you at your best.” Cirrus said under his breath examining the blade. “Well how about one last exchange huh? I rather not let people see what I can do after all…there are Evilus members here.”

Ottar took a quick scan of the arena and felt some malicious intent, but it was drowned out by the crowd of adventures wanting him to fight.

“Hm, I agree.” He gets his weapons and gets into another stance. “But I will be claiming victory.”

“I like to see you try.” Cirrus kicked forward and came in with a swing.

“Then let’s see if you can survive this. (Silver moon's mercy, the golden wilderness).”

Cirrus increased his rate and power of attacks but-

Ottar had already learned enough to deny Cirrus any leeway.

In those split seconds Cirrus kicked back trying to gain distance, but it was in vain.

“ROOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!” he kicked off the ground quickly covering whatever distance Cirrus had.

He moved his blade to block it but Cirrus knew this was an attack he wasn’t able to take.

BAAAAAM!!!!

He lost consciousness.

the strike slammed the spine of his own weapon into himself knocking the air-

The only way he slowed from the attack was his body once again skidding across the ground and into the arena’s door knocking it off its hinges and going a bit into the tunnel.

Where he regained consciousness from the impact.

He felt like shit, it felt as though he got hit by 10 Nuckelavee’s.

“I….should have…gone a bit…seriously…” He said with his head spinning and eyes shaky. He could feel thousands and thousands of ants beginning to crawl up his body, the ground was starting to disappear.

‘N-Nox cover…’

“A…i?” Looking up he saw a blurry white before it all went black.

 

Seeing Cirrus knocked out and bloody Ai looked to see the arena with Ottar far off. She knew.

“Cirrus! Are you okay!?” she quickly knelt down and checked to see how he was.

“…” He was out cold.

“Dammit!” she took out a potion and splashed it on him.

She could see his injuries slowly healing when Nox came and covered his face.

“You!? What are-“

“Zephyr!!” shouted Hermes rushing in with Asfi and Lydia behind him. “Are you-“ looked at Ai for a second before turning his attention back to Cirrus. “Lydia! Asfi! See if he’s fine!”

They rushed to him, Ai got out of their way as they begun to examine him but Nox refused to let go of his face.

“You Renard did you apply a potion!?” shouted Lydia.

“Y-yes!!”

She quickly patted him to feel if anything is out of place to find some bones were still broken.

“Quiet a few still broken bones, what do you think Lord Hermes?” She looked to see her god in deep thought.

‘Dammit…I want him to keep fighting but…I don’t know how much his armor drains him of his magic…dammit!!’

“…Call the fight. He is unable to keep fighting.”

“Right! Asfi take him to-“

“Zephyr!!” shouted Eupheme come from the stands into the tunnel. “Move aside I am his blacksmith!”

“Wait how do we know you’re not lie-“

“Hoot!! Hoot!!” Nox hooted nodding her head.

“Well are you going to argue with his own smart owl!?”

‘That owl…why is it so odd…’ Hermes thought on how truly strange his owl was. All he could see was a contradiction. The more he looked at her the more he didn’t know what she was.

“Take him, make sure you wake him up. Lets go,”

“Hm!” Eupheme picked him up carefully.

Lydia and Asfi followed after their god while Ai followed Eupheme.

“U-um I saw his face! So can I follow you?”

“…No, return to your Familia for now. But do come to my shop, he will explain himself.” She then left leaving Ai to be found by her Familia.

 

Leaving the Colosseum after Hermes announced that Ottar had won the gods of Evilus were returning back to the surface the gods of Evilus got together.

“We need to tell Loviatar about this.” Said Apate. “I’m sure with that monster able to fight against that wild boar Ottar and with Artemis here I’m sure they’re going to hunt her down!”

“Did you not receive word from her?” said Alecto.

“No…not even a single word, when I heard of the monster being unsealed in the South-Western part of the continent and it destroying towns and villages I knew she succeeded but to find her up now is…tch Valletta do you think you can find something on where she went?”

Valletta in a black cloak came up to her goddess.

“I can but its gonna cost us, that book hoarder isn’t cheap.”

“That’s fine, at least his information is reliable.”

“So what?” said Rudra. “Are we gonna send one of our children to go and find her? And what if when they do find her she had already unsealed another monster!?”

“A very reasonable thought, Apate?”

“If that’s the case then we go to another place where one of those monsters is supposedly sealed.”

“And that is??” said Rudra.

“Telskyura, the Country of Blood and Fighting.”
