Before we get started on the story, here is some lore about the world for future reference.

Name of World: Ur

Races of Ur:

Humans: The most plentiful race in Ur. Despite this, unlike the other races they have no natural advantages in any one particular category. However their adaptability is what makes them dangerous.

Lifespan: 100 to 120 years.

Dwarf: Short and stocky, they love to drink and have high strength. They are excellent forgers and generally make their homes in mountains.

Lifespan: 300 to 350 years.

Elves: Pointed ears. They make their homes in forests and are usually skilled in both archery and magic. They are also the longest living race.

Lifespan: 1,000 years.

Beast-kin: People with animal characteristics. Their physical strength is not to be underestimated. Their naturally enhanced senses make them excellent trackers in general.

Lifespan: 500 years.

Halflings: Children born between two people of different races. Generally it is usually only between the other races and humans but that is not always the case.

Lifespan: Varies, but generally they will adopt the lifespan of the longer living race between their parents.

Subspecies: Among the races there are those that possess offshoots from the regular. These are known as subspecies.

Dark Elves: A subspecies of the elves who developed dark and tan skin. Unlike their normal elven brethren dark elves usually live in forests that barely let in any light. Thus they developed night vision as a racial trait. They are also generally physically stronger than their light elf brethren.

Lifespan: 1,000 years

Equipment: The name of the armor and weapons that people use in Ur. It is divided into several categories and the higher it goes, the more powerful it is.

Equipment types:

Common: Equipment that anyone can use or purchase.

Regular: Equipment that is higher than common. But not much better.

Unique: Higher grade equipment that usually has one or two enhancements placed on it.

Mythic: Powerful equipment that is hard to obtain. It is generally enhanced with multiple enchantments to greatly assist and strengthen whoever is using it in battle.

Ancient: Equipment that cannot be remade through any modern means in Ur. This equipment is highly soft after and also extremely dangerous. This equipment can only be used by those of a specific class.

Legendary: Items that are told about through only in legend. To obtain one of these rare items would give the wielder the power to destroy several countries in the blink of an eye.

Time Scale: Ur has 24 hours in a day and the time is the same as Earth. The only difference is it has two moons instead of one.
