Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Venom.

Using my vital energy, I create heat to dry myself up and enter a cave. Inside the cave there is a bed and fire pit for cooking.

 

"Let’s leave tomorrow, I will miss this place."

 

Taking down the meat that have been smoke on the cave wall, I begin cutting it into pieces to cook it. Casting my spell, a small fireball comes out from my palm and falls into the dry wood. After preparing everything I wait for the meat to cook.

 

Living here I realize I am lucky growing up in a rich family and loving mother, in this life. Everything is already being prepared for me, as soon as I wake up.

 

After my mother was kidnapped the last time, my conjecture is right. Without power everything will be gone like smoke. Because of that I need to be strong.

 

I wish I could recreate my mechanical puppet army. The problem that I have is, I don’t have the resources, energy and transport. The resources required to create the army is enormous, even if I sell my mother company it’s still not enough to maintain it.

 

The second problem is that the planet doesn't have convenient energy like mana. To redesign the spaceship engine, to fit a mechanical puppet is hard and a waste because of the cost to create the engine, and energy. There is other energy like oil, solar and nuclear fusion but all of that is not cost efficient.

 

The last problem is the transport of the large army to fight. I still don’t know if I can cast a spatial storage spell in this world. 

 

While I am thinking, my food has already finished cooking.

Planet Gaia, Zloria city spaceport. Many spaceships landed and flew from the large platform.

 

On the platform, a large spaceship is waiting for the passenger to come aboard. 

 

Nora hugging both of her daughter and son, while crying. “Make sure you both are careful, don’t be hot blooded and listen to your superior.” 

 

Beside them is their father, Adrien. “Don’t worry, I have arranged our people to take care of them.”

 

“Father, mother don’t worry I will look after Asher.”

 

“Mother don’t worry; I will be careful.”

 

After seeing their kid aboard the spaceship, Adrien and Nora leave the spaceport.

 

Far from them, one of the men wearing a suit begins calling someone.

 

"The subject is already aboard the spaceship."

One of the skyscrapers in Zloria city. A sibling is having a discussion in an office room.

 

Aila, a woman with light blonde hair spoke. “Brother, our niece and nephew have already left the planet.”

 

“Good, it's better if they don’t get involved, make sure to send our people to protect them in secret.” Edgar, a middle aged man with the same hair color as his little sister said.

 

“I don’t understand; why big brother is willing to cooperate with other families that will cause us harm.”

 

“He thought that it would make our Thomson family stronger. Instead we will slowly lose our influence in the human federation.”

 

“I already discussed it with other relatives, most of them just sitting on the fence and don’t want to get involved.”

 

“You need to understand that if they make a wrong choice, their position will be in danger. We have a lot of relatives from the main and branch family that can replace them.”

 

Aila standing up from the seat, began walking out of the room. “Don’t worry brother, you shall become the next family head.”

 

“I hope so.” Edgar murmured.

Planet Otune, Multos Forest. The film crew are busy arranging a set for shooting a movie.

 

“Do you think; I can see that man again?” A woman with long brown hair and a sexy body said.

 

A woman, busy putting makeup on the actress's face, spoke. “June, it's better you forget about it. I have listened to what the forest guide said, that man might be dangerous.”

 

“But don’t people said, that women like dangerous men?”

 

“I advise you not to, and how many times this year have you changed your boyfriend?”

 

“It’s a secret, all of the men are boring and don’t get me excited.”

 

Entering a large canopy is Nolan, the assistant director. “Actors get ready, we will start shooting scenes soon. We need to hurry and the lighting crew prepare the extra light just in case.”

 

While Nolan is checking on the actor, a rough looking man comes to see him. “Mr. Nolan we have a problem with several exoskeleton suits and we don’t have the part to repair it.”

 

“Can the exoskeleton suit hold on until we leave the forest?”

 

“I am afraid not.”

 

“It's fine we will send an emergency signal so the actors and director can go home by the spaceship. For the rest will be returning back using their exoskeleton suit.” 

 

“Okay.”

 

Sitting on the director chair near the medium size video camera is Kylie. “Are the actors done?”

 

Nolan comes running. “We need 10 more minutes for the actor to get ready.”

 

“Good after they are ready, begin shooting.”

At night, near the river a man and woman with long brown hair and sexy body, can be seen together acting. While the film crew are busy shooting the scene.

The man with an urgent voice spoke. “We should run.”

 

The woman looked tired from running, spoke. “No, they will arrive here soon. It's better if you escape alone.”

 

“No, we should escape together.”

 

While the man and woman arguing. A group of men holding a blade and gun come out from the forest.

 

A man with a burly body with a mad face, pointed his finger at the man and woman. “You eloped bastard. Do you know how long we have been trying to find you?”   

 

The man's eyes went wide, after seeing the burly man and shouted. “Quick run!”

 

The woman faces when pale.

 

“You think you can escape. Man captured them.”

 

“Yes, sir.”

 

After some struggling both of the man and woman get caught.

 

“Cut!” Kylie shouted.

 

All the actors stop moving and relax.

 

“Okay everybody we shall stop shooting for today.” Kylie begins stretching her body, because he has been sitting on the chair for too long.

 

“Director, what about the next scene?” Nolan asked.

 

“We continue the shooting in the city. We have already finished all the forest scenes.”

 

“Yes, director.” When Nolan tells everybody that they can go home tomorrow. The filming crews hear that, cheer.

 

Kylie smile, she knows it’s hard and dangerous shooting inside the forest. But she has no choice because the budget of the movie has been drastically cut.

 

Without anyone noticing a purple snake, come out from the river and slithering toward the woman actress. 

 

One of the men near her shouted. “June, snake!” 

 

But it’s already too late, the snake already bites her calf. “Ahhh!” June screams in pain and falls down to the ground.

 

“Quick kill the snake!”

 

“Kill it!”

 

“How dare you!”

 

The man’s beat up the snake to death using their props weapon. While the other people call a film crew medic that has been on standby in case anything happens.

 

“Stop! I need to see the snake.” The medic shouted.   

 

Listening to that the man’s stops hitting the snake. Kylie walks beside the medic and asks. “Can she be cured?” 

 

The medic face looks stern, after a while a sweat can be seen coming down from his head. Because the camera lighting is still on, everybody can see what happened.

 

“Quickly send an emergency signal, I can only make her stay alive for one day with the medicine that I have now.”

 

“Nolan sent the emergency signal.”

 

“Yes.” After saying that, Nolan ran toward the camp to find the device to send the emergency signal.

 

Kylie looks at the medic and asks. “What kind of snake is that?”

 

“It’s a Purple Venom Snake, with antivenom I can slow the poison, but we need to send her to the hospital to remove the poison.”

 

“What about the antidote?”

 

“There is no antidote for Purple Venom Snake.” 

 

Hearing that everyone's faces turn pale.

 

June hearing that become scared. “Please save me, I don’t want to die.”

 

“Don’t worry as long as we can send her to the hospital. They have the equipment to remove the venom.”

 

Nolan come running, and shouted. “Director we have a problem; the signal can’t get through!”

 

“What!” Kylie begins to panic because if the main actress dies her movie is finished and the responsibility of June's death will be placed on her. Kylie takes a deep breath and looks at the forest guide. “Do you have any way to cure her?”

 

“No.” The forest guide shakes his head. Suddenly he remembers something. “How about we try to find a man that we see today?”

 

“You mean the man that came out from the river.” 

 

“He might have a way to cure her, but we can only try finding that man in the morning. It’s dangerous to move at night.”

 

Kylie, after thinking, nodded her head. “Okay, we will try finding that man tomorrow.”
