Chapter 19: Chapter 18: Preparing. 

Few days later, Red Cobra group building. Four people are waiting for someone.

 

Sara looks at Chris with curious eyes. “You really look like a woman.”

 

Chris already takes off his human face mask. After being convinced by Vance he decided to follow him. “Yes Ms. Sara, sorry for my rudeness yesterday.” Chris acted meekly in front of Sara. He tries to seduce her, but gets beat up by her in sparring. Fortunately, she didn't hit his beautiful face. 

 

“Mr. Vance, why don't you join another organization. With your expertise I am sure they will let you join.” Liam, after reading the information, knew Vance is not a normal person.

 

“I have my own reason.”

 

After a while a white mask man appears. All of them looked at the mask figure and greeted him. I look at Chris that I saved in the Multos forest. According to Vance, Chris is a double agent, that is why I agreed to let him join. 

 

“I have something to discuss with all of you.”

 

All of them are waiting for Mr. Sylas to speak.

 

“I want to control or destroy all the underworld groups and terrorist organizations. Do you have any idea?”

 

Silence, four of them open their eyes and mouth wide from what Sylas said. Even Vance that believes in his instinct, right now is having a doubt. His original intention is to kill several important people of the Dread organization. However now, Vance thinks that Sylas must be a lunatic. 

 

The one that is first to speak is Liam. “Cough, Mr. Sylas is impossible, especially the terrorist organization. Even if you manage to destroy it, a new one will replace them.” 

 

The next to speak is Chris. “What Liam said is right, especially certain groups that have connections with the Federation or other power.”

 

“I have nothing to say however if Mr. Sylas wants to fight them, I will follow.” Sara said. After what she have experience, she has no good will toward the Federation and the terrorist organization.

 

The only one that hasn't said anything yet is Vance. After several minutes he finally speaks. “There is a way.”

 

“What! Vance you must be joking. We have worked as spies for a long time and know how powerful those organizations are.” Chris said.

 

Vance ignores Chris, and speaks. “You need to use fear.”

 

“How?”

 

“Make them really afraid of you, that is the only way to make them listen to your order.”

 

“You means by killing people, like terrorist?”

 

“Even if you kill them, a new one will replace them. You need to create an identity that the whole planet or galaxies fear. To be precise you need to become a madman that targets the leaders and important peoples of the organization or family.”

 

“You mean become a fiend?”

 

“Yes, blood will flow like a river. By mentioning your name, they must obey or die.”

 

The whole room when silence and a chill can be felt around their body. Especially Liam because he has seen how Sylas kill people.

 

I thought they had a different idea, it’s quite disappointing. The issue right now is that I am no longer a master rank. I also need to be careful of weaponry from this world, such as mechs and battle suits. I look at Vance. “Found out who responsible with the last terrorist attack in Kaross city.'' After saying that, I stand up and disappear into the shadows.

 

“Do you know how Mr. Sylas disappears into a shadow?” Liam asked.

 

“I don’t know.” Vance said.

 

“Maybe he is from a ninja descendant.” Sara said excitedly. 

 

Chris has seen something similar, but he can’t remember.

Inside my room. The vital energy in the surroundings begins being absorbed by my body. I still haven’t found a way to cast space magic. That means the vital energy is not enough to stabilize the space magic spell. Fortunately, there is no problem casting other types of magic. The other solution is to wait until I become a master rank mage. 

 

The information that the three people gave me, already been sorted out. I can only take a deep breath, after seeing the information. Many big organizations have survived for thousands of years, and for the Human Federation ever since humans can travel into different galaxies. All of them have faction and support from old and new powerful families.

 

There is a way to destroy them by making them fight each other, but after a long time their power and influence are already at stable and can’t be changed. This world is not like the Assiorath world, by using force you can change the fate of a kingdom. If you include the extraterrestrial species it becomes more complicated.   

 

Standing up I decided to rest my mind and exercise. My exercise room, I can’t use it right now because it has been remodeled to make it more sturdy. It looks like I can only run around the mansion to exercise.

“From our investigation the missing spaceship exploded killing team B in the process.”

 

Sitting on a leather chair is a middle aged man with blonde hair and a full beard. “How about the lab?”

 

“According to the remains, it looks like the lab self-destructed. Only the professor can activate the self-destruct mode.”     

 

“Send our team to continue the investigation.”

 

“Yes, sir.”

 

“Have you talked with our people in the Federation, about the people that are against us?”

The Federation ever since the last terrorist attack. Have been killing and capturing the personal member of all terrorist organization on the planet. Even their spies inside the Federation have not been spared.

Vance and Chris, wearing a disguise, are walking in the alley.

 

“Are you really going to follow that man?”

 

“Don’t worry, from what I see from his reaction. He is still sane, maybe he just wanted some idea to deal with a big organization.”

 

“To destroy a large organization you need a lot of things; the most important thing is an army and weapons. I have done my research about the Red Cobra group, they are big but only as a criminal gang standard.” Chris, although have joined them, is still not convinced with Vance's decision.

 

“That is not something we need to worry about. As long as we can use him to get revenge is enough. From Mr. Sylas skill we know he is an assassin.”

 

“Where are we going?”

 

“We are going to see someone to get the latest news and information about the underworld.”

 

After several minutes, they arrive in front of a metal door. Vance raised his arm and put it on the metal door. The metal door automatically opens.

 

“That thing is good, where do you get it?”

 

“From a friend that owes me a favor.”

 

“Can you ask your friend to make me one.”

 

“Yes I can, but you need to require the material yourself.”

 

Entering the building the light is on and suddenly they hear a noise. The metal door closed and many firearms came out from the wall and ceiling of the building. Chris, scared, quickly hides behind Vance.

 

After that they can hear a woman's voice. [“Who are you? I give you five minute before you die.”] 

 

“It’s me Vance.” Vance takes off his human face mask, revealing a middle aged man with brown hair and a goatee.

 

[“Oh it’s you Vance come to my room, I am busy right now.”] After saying that all the firearms return back inside the wall and ceiling.

 

“How long are you going to hide behind me, let’s go.”

 

Chris without any shame after what happened, walk beside Vance.

 

They stand in front of another metal door. but this time Vance doesn't do anything and the door opens. Inside the room there are several monitor screens and laying on the large bean bags, is a matured woman with light brown hair wearing glasses and a busty body. Her hand is holding a wireless keyboard and mouse.

 

Without looking at them the woman speaks. “Vance, I thought you had been captured according to my information?”

 

“Since you know, why don’t you send help?”

 

“I knew you would escape, and why are you coming here without notice? Luckily I don’t mistakenly kill you.”

 

“The device to contact you has been destroyed by me, before being captured.”

 

“Even if you don’t destroy it, they can’t find my location.”

 

“It’s better if they don’t find you, Ruby the Ghost Hacker.”

 

“Hahaha, that is my old nickname. Okay tell me what is the reason you are coming here.” This time Ruby stands up while stretching and looks at Vance.

 

Chris swallows his saliva, seeing Ruby's beautiful face and busty body.

 

Ruby ignored Chris' rudeness and waited for Vance's answer. She has seen a lot of men looking at her with perverted eyes. Since the one that brings that man is Vance, he must be someone that Vance trusted. 

 

People call her the Ghost Hacker because she can hack any system and gather information. In the end she got caught, after being put on trial her punishment is imprisonment. With the help of her friends she manages to escape and one of them is Vance.

 

“I need your help to find the Dread organization activity.” 

 

“I knew it, if you survive you will come here. wait for me to copy the file.”

 

“Thank you.”

 

“It's fine we are friends.” Ruby don’t even bother to ask about Chris and begin copying the file.

 

“Cough, why don’t you introduce me to her.” Christ whispered. He is still wearing the human face mask.

 

“In the future.”

 

“Fine.” Christ looked disappointed.
