Chapter 25: Chapter 24: Testing.

The Human Federation has a vast territory. They are having difficulty controlling it, so they hire mercenaries as a solution. However, the mercenaries cannot be completely trusted. They need to form an organization that they can control, so the Federation Hunter is formed.

 

The military is opposed to the creation of the federation hunter, but after various mock battles with the hunter, the army is defeated. The military realizes why they are losing. They are not adaptable and prefer to win through brute force. The military has grown accustomed to conquering many planets that way, and it is difficult to change. Recognizing their weakness, the military began training to create their special and elite soldier army.

 

As a result, the human federation allowed the military and hunter conflict to continue. For them, it is a healthy rivalry that can strengthen humanity.

Inside a large spaceship in space.

 

“Leader, we have received an order from the federation.”

 

"What is it now?" The spaceship's leader has dark skin and brown ponytail hair. His tone is unpleasant because he is exhausted after completing a mission.

 

"The Federation has dispatched a new mission to deal with terrorists on the planet Otune."

 

“Send a message telling them we have large causality from the last mission.”

 

“Cough, the leader higher up also said. Don’t lie about the causality.”

 

Standing up from his chair, the leader looks angry. “Eithan how much do you get from selling our information again.”

 

Eithan a burly man with short blonde hair, look at him with apologizing face. “Gavin, I am sorry my brothers and sister in the orphanage needed the money.”

 

Hearing that Gavin looks calm. “Sigh, since you said something like that, I can’t blame you.”

 

“Thank you.”

 

“Do you think I believe you!” Gavin takes out his guns and aims at Eithan.

 

“Leader calm down!”

 

“Stop, stop!”

 

Seeing that, the people inside the bridge try to stop their leader from killing Eithan. While they are busy, Eithan is already near the door.

 

“You bastard, after selling us you dare to run!”

 

“Forgive me!” The burly man quickly opened the bridged door and escaped.

 

“What are you guys doing chasing him, we need to beat him up for selling us!”

 

While everyone is busy, a slender woman with blonde short bangs is sending a message to the federation secretly. [Code name Raven028. Hunter team name Brave Riders. Everything is under control.]

 

“Millie locate Eithan location!”

 

Startled, she quickly replied. “Yes, leader.”

 

Despite the Federation's trust, they have placed their own people in each hunter team. The risk of betrayal is reduced, and they have access to the most recent information. The hunters' leaders are aware of this, but choose to ignore it as long as the federation does not cross the line. Many federation spies have been killed in the past because they were responsible for the death of a hunter team member. Following that incident, the federation and the hunter agreed on peace.

Pharherb, inside a room full of medical equipment. A man wearing a surgical gown is standing beside a woman with a disfigured body and missing right arm. Daisy is lying on the bed already awake. Thanks to anesthetic, she doesn’t feel pain from the injury.

 

“Can I be cured?” Daisy has asked her son many times since she woke up.

 

“Don’t worry mom, I will do everything that I can to heal you.”

 

Hearing that Daisy became gloomy. “But my face and body.”

 

Looking at my mother's disfigured face, both of my hands hold her left hand. “Mom, close your eyes.”

 

Daisy looks at her son's face and without saying anything close her eyes.

 

Using almost all my vital energy, I cast a healing spell on my mother's hand. Her disfigured hand begins to heal. But without proper treatment, it’s only a superficial treatment. After a while I release my hand.

 

“Mom, you can open your eyes.”

 

Daisy appears perplexed and surprised, when she looks at her nearly healed hand. “How?” She has asked Professor Henry about her condition. Keeping her alive, he claims, is already a miracle.

 

“Don’t worry mom, give me time. I am confident in healing you, including your right arm.” What my mother needed the most right now is hope.

 

“Sobbing.” Tears begin to fall down on Daisy's face, and after comforting her. I walk out of the room.

 

Waiting for me outside is Professor Henry. “How is the drug test?” I ask, without the drugs. It’s impossible to heal her with my strength alone.

 

“It works, but it will take Madam Daisy several months to remove the chemical from her body.”

 

“begin the treatment, we can heal her body at the same time.”

Inside my office, on the tablet screen is an information about the terrorist attack, from Vance and Chris. There are several terrorist group that involved, but the one that in charge is the Dread organization.

 

For the federation battle suit and coaxium. Liam already found the location. To prevent any leaks, only Liam and Sara know about this. I need to find a way to transport them, without the government and army finding out. Fortunately, the location is far away from the city.

 

My phone begins to ring and looking at the name is red mouse. [“Hello Mr. Sylas. I already taking care of the two man, what is your next order?”] Liam asked.

“Do you have any idea how to transport the federation battle suit and coaxium?”

 

[“For coaxium, we have no problem transporting it. But I am not confident on dealing with federation battle suit.”]

 

After thinking for a while, I spoke. “Transport the coaxium to your base and bring Sara to help.”

 

[“Yes, Mr. Sylas.”]

 

It look like, I can only destroy the battle suit to test my strength.”

A warehouse on the outskirts. There aren't many people guarding the area. Perhaps because they already know their boss is missing and are looking for him. I am not concerned about Liam and Sara; if they have a problem, they will contact me for assistance.

 

The two guards stationed at the door are slacking off, sitting around and drinking.

 

“Where is the boss?”

 

“Inside her room, torturing people.”

 

“Our boss sure is crazy.” 

 

“Shush!” Do you want to die?”

 

“Don’t worry, she won’t hear us.” 

 

“The woman that the boss makes sure is beautiful.”

 

"Sigh, that woman will die after the torturous end."

 

“Let’s hope it will not be us next. The boss doesn’t really care who her victim is.”

 

“You are right.”

 

Two daggers appear in the darkness of the night and pierce through both of the man's hearts. The two men don't even have time to scream and blood flows out from the wound. Absorbing their soul energy, and the door shattered as a result of the kick. Entering the warehouse there are many crates and large containers.

 

The man inside the warehouse is startled after seeing the shattered door and a hooded man.

 

“Intruder, everybody gets your weapon!”

 

The man’s rush to get their firearms and aim their weapon at the intruder.

 

“Who are you?”

 

Seeing the firearms aiming at me, I stop moving and look at them. “Where is the federation battle suit?”

 

Hearing that all the men inside the warehouse face turn wary. Because they know what is the punishment for contraband, especially the military weapon.

 

They still don’t dare to open fire. Afraid that the hooded man in front of them is someone related to their boss.

 

Seeing them don’t do anything, I spoke. “Where is your boss, I want to see him.”

 

“Please wait a moment. You go call your boss.”

 

“Yes.”

Inside of a room, there is a woman lying on the floor. From her torn clothes and wound can been see a sign of torture.

 

A middle aged woman with black hair and scarface smile happily. “Another one dead, find me a new one.”

 

Beside her is a skinny man, he has no reaction seeing this. “Yes, boss.”

 

Suddenly there is a knock on the door.

 

“Come in.” The skinny man said.

 

When a man enters the room and sees the tortured woman, he starts sweating.

 

The scarface woman spoke. “What is it?”

 

The man hurriedly spoke. “A hooded man came to see you?”

 

The scarface woman looks at the skinny man.

 

The skinny man shakes his head. “I don’t receive any message from the backer. Our man who has been searching for him also hasn't sent us any message.”

 

“Call the guards station at the door.”

 

“Yes, boss.” After a while the skinny man spoke. “They don’t pick up their phone.

 

The scarface woman, after thinking for a while spoke. “You go and delay that man.”

 

“Yes, boss.”

 

When they both leave the room. The woman placed her hand on the wall, a secret door opened. Walking inside, a human-sized Federation battle suit stands in the center of the room. She has a feeling something is wrong. It's better to be safe than sorry.
