Chapter 46: Chapter 45: Leaving The Planet. (2)

At the human territory. The stur freedom fighter and stur military have gathered together and await order. They have made a temporary base in several locations. There are also many stur civilians that join them. The stur freedom fighters that have been hiding in human territory have come out to give them supply and information.

 

A stur entered a tent in a hurry and spoke. “Leader, we detect a human army and aircrafts.” 

 

Inside the tent Lance and other people including the stur military are having a discussion. “Don’t worry about the aircraft, focus on the human army.”

 

“Yes, leader.”

 

“Mr. Lance, we can order our aircraft to intercept them.” A stur wearing a military uniform spoked.

 

“It's fine.” Lance looked at his follower. “You ready the rocket launcher truck.” Since the start of the war Mr. Donald the Dread organization have given them the advanced anti-aircraft missile ammunition. The weird thing is why Mr. Donald doesn’t use it when humans attack his main base. Lance doesn't know that Mr. Donald is setting up a trap for something larger.

 

The rocket launcher trucks line up and fire multiple missiles to the air.

In the sky a group of aircraft is heading in their direction.

 

“Captain, we are detecting many projectiles heading our way.” The pilot said.

 

“Launch the anti-missile flares.” Each aircraft begins to launch many red flares into the air to redirect the missile trajectory. But they make one mistake: the missile is not an infrared homing missile. 

 

“Captain the missile is still heading our way!”

 

“Impossible, quickly activate the sonic wave anti- missile!” A sonic wave spread around the aircrafts to confuse the missiles.   

 

Nevertheless, it was useless when the faces of the pilot and captain turned pale. “Why? Quick eject!”

 

The missiles hit the aircrafts in the sky.

 

“Kaboom!”

 

“Boom!”

 

All of the human military aircrafts exploded and fell down to the ground like flies. For the pilot, some of them manage to survive the explosion after ejecting from the aircraft.

 

On the ground the stur begin to cheer.

 

“We did it!”

 

“For freedom!”  

 

Lance after a while finally spoke. “Don’t be happy yet, we have not won this war. Prepare to fight the human army!” 

 

The humans seeing their aircraft being destroyed are shocked. Because the majority of them were born here, they only see humans killing stur, not the other way around. Nevertheless, they still move forward because they also have something that they need to protect.

 

This time the human military sends out their advanced weapon like battle suit and other weapons to destroy the stur army. On their communication device they can hear an elderly man's voice from general Conor.  

 

[“We humanity have a long history of defeat and victory!”]

 

[“Nevertheless, in the face of adversity, we have never given up!”]

 

[“Remember you are not only protecting humanity but your love one and family!”]

 

[“We are outnumbered but we are united!”]

 

[“Fight for humanity. Fight for our family!”]

 

[“Show them the power of the federation!”]

 

[“This is our home!”]

 

[“Fight and show them the meaning of hell!”]

 

Hearing that the military doesn't say anything, in their mind they only have one mission to kill their enemy. After that the communication has been cut off.

Presidential building. An elderly man begins to cough nonstop and few people try to help him. “Cough, I am too old for this.”

 

“It was a great speech by General Conor.”

 

“Sigh, we will win but how many people will die.”

 

“Yes, we have fallen into a trap.”

 

Suddenly they heard a hurried footstep and a woman secretary entered the room. “Mr. President, we have received a message from the federation. The federation war fleet is on their way.”

 

Hearing that the faces of all the people inside the room light up.

 

“Finally they come.”

President Royce remembered something. “Where is the federation hunter?”

 

General Conor spoke, after resting on a chair. “They are on standby in a military base. Waiting for the federation hunter association next order.”

 

“Can they help with the war?”

 

“Right now their mission difficulty has changed. They are waiting for the federation hunter association order.”

 

“Can you contact them; we are willing to hire them to guard the capital city?”

 

“Yes, Mr. President.”

Outer space is always peaceful and quiet. Fortunately, there are numerous solar systems with suns that can illuminate space. There is a location named cosmic voids, also known as dark space. That location is vast spaces between filaments with no or few galaxies.

 

There is even a place larger than dark space called supervoids where no spaceship dares to venture. Both of those places, if something happens inside, it will be difficult to send an emergency signal because of the light-years distance.

 

Most of the spaceships that are stranded in that place, can’t be saved in time and are left there to die. Because of that most spaceships required to use hyperdrive several times. Will go to the closer galaxies, if there is a problem they can ask for help.  

 

There is an unexpected ripple in the fabric of space. The ripples range in size from small to large. The frigates and destroyers are the first to appear. Then medium-sized military spaceships called heavy cruisers. Finally, is the battlecruiser. The largest Federation military spaceship that most galaxies fear.

 

“General, we have arrived at Otune solar system.”

 

“How long until we arrive at planet Otune.”

 

“Twenty-five minutes and forty-one seconds.”

 

They arrived far away from the planet to avoid colliding with other spaceships. In the past, many spaceships emerged from hyperspace in different directions. At the same time near the planet killing many people. Because of that several universal rules for safety have been created.

 

“Good, let's show them the power of the federation military fleet.” In outer space many military spaceships move in formation toward Otune. On one of the asteroids, a metal cube attach to the asteroid begins to transmitting a video image.

Dread organization hideout. A woman with brown hair and a slender body enters the room.

 

“Leader, they have arrived.”

 

Mr. Donald sitting on the chair opened his eyes. “Have you sent the message to them?”

 

“Yes, Leader.”

 

“Josie, prepare to attack the capital city.”

 

“Yes, leader.” After saying that she leaves the room leaving him alone.

 

Mr. Donald smiles, everything is going as planned. Although he is unable to kill the people who are responsible for his family's death. This will cause a minor setback for the entire human federation. He knows, however, that even if they manage to destroy this fleet, there are other fleets to replace them. He doesn't mind as long as he can cause trouble for the federation.

 

Human federation has a lot of enemies from dependent human nations and other alien species. While Otune is at war, a group of people is preparing to leave this planet.

Restricted floor. A group of people are busy carrying stuff to an underground tunnel. Sara can be seen carrying a big machine that weighs 4,500 kg alone. While the rest are busy, the one in charge is Gianna.

 

Gianna spoke. “Dylan don’t you have any shame; Sara can lift more heavy stuff than you!”

 

“Yes, big sis, sorry for being weak!” Dylan's face is red carrying heavy lab machinery.

 

Near them is Mateo, he already transforms into a humanoid komodo dragon to carry the stuff. The reason Dylan doesn't transform is because he can’t control his strength and break some stuff. Even if he wants to transform, Gianna is watching him.

 

Arian and Logan carry the stuff without complaining. Thanks to me, their families are safe and have enough food to eat.

 

For Elena, Vivian and Devin they are busy transferring or destroying any confidential file. After leaving Otune they might not come back. 

 

I am watching them through the camera. Although Liam and Sara are my earlier followers, Liam is too weak and Sara doesn't like to order people around. Fortunately, we already prepared most of the things before the war started. Right now they are moving all the important stuff inside a spaceship. That is located at the end of the underground tunnel connected to a large warehouse.

 

My mother's and my assets in Otune were mostly sold after I killed my mother's company shareholder who opposed me. Except for the Pharherb building. Following that, I purchased a medium-sized spaceship that can accommodate approximately one hundred people. The only problem is that the spaceship only arms with basic weapons. That means we need to flee if come across a space pirate or enemy military spaceship.

 

While contemplating what to do next. Liam enters the room quickly. “Mr. Sylas, Vance called for assistance.” Liam starts explaining everything. One of Vance friend find out that Otune spaceport will be attack by Dread organization. Because of that he wishes to go with us to escape from Otune.

 

“Called them to come.”

 

Liam is surprised and happy. If Mr. Sylas does not allow it, he intends to beg. After some interaction, he, Vance, and Chris became friends.

 

After Liam leaves the room. Finally, I can see where Vance gets the information, for human experiment. Although both of them are spies. With Vance and Chris' skill they both don’t have the skill to get the confidential files from the federation, especially in a short time. Behind them must have someone that is good at hacking systems.

 

For the war with stur larger population even if the humans manage to win. More will come out to avenge them. However, everything will change once the federation fleet arrives. I will not return here, until everything calms down. For me my real home is earth, not here. Because of that I have no sense of belonging except for my mother.
