Chapter 48: Chapter 47: Messy Situation.

In outer space of Otune. The Federation military spaceship fleet and the ambusher are entangled in a brutal fight. The name of the Federation military spaceship fleet is not for showed. That is the strength of the human federation to conquer the universe.   

 

Inside the human battleship the general although can’t contact other military spaceships. The other fleet knows what to do any move in formation. While the ambusher most of them move like a fly without any formation or strategy except for the three alien species.

 

“General the Engers, Xavo and Agnil's main fleet still don’t move from their position.” The human crews no longer rely on their system to detect the enemy. They used spaceship windshields and cameras to see what happened outside the spaceship.

 

“Wait in formation, after they make a move. Begin attacking with full power.” The reason that the general still doesn’t engage the enemy military spaceship is because he is afraid there is another trap. He can’t use any stealth detection device because of the interference. The only way is to destroy the source of disturbance.

A spaceship came out from Otune.

 

“What the hell!” Liam cursed. The space right has become a battlefield. Many spaceships are engaged in war.   

 

“Vance began charging the hyperdrive.”

 

“Yes, we need 15 minute.” At the same time Vance begins to move the spaceship far away from the battlefield.

 

The fight in space is like watching a silent movie. There is no sound in space vacuum.

 

“Mr. Sylas, we have a problem. We can’t pinpoint the hyperdrive destination because of the space disturbance.” Vance spoke.

 

“What is the cause?”

 

“It must be that there are spaceships that carry the disturbance device. But it required a group of spaceships to be nearby to make the array disturbance effective. Everything will return to normal as long as we can eliminate one of them.”

 

“Can you find them?”

 

“No, and with the enemy spaceships in the surrounding it will be dangerous for us. The only way is to wait for the Federation military spaceship to win.”

 

“Wait for a moment.” Closing my eyes, I cast enhanced sense magic and enhanced my eyesight. There is no sound in space, it is useless. Opening my eyes, I begin to look outside space like a binocular. There is nothing strange on the battlefield. Outside the battlefield I sense something: the location is not far from here. 

 

“Go there, and get ready to fire the weapon.” I pointed in a certain direction.

 

“Yes, Mr. Sylas.”

 

All of the spaceships in space can’t use any detection device. Because of that most of the enemy spaceships don’t notice the spaceship coming out from Otune. Except for Agnil species they look like humans but have feathers and wings.

 

“Captain we found a spaceship coming out from Otune.” One of the Agnil with sharp eyes spoke.

 

“Ignore it, we can’t move right now. Their battlecruiser still doesn’t move.”

 

“Should we move first?”

 

“No, it will cause other ally spaceships to be confused. We can’t contact them or send a message right now because of the space disturbance.”

 

My spaceship is getting closer to that location “Move slower until the hyperdrive finishes recharge. How long do we need to set up the coordination for the hyperdrive after everything is back to normal?”

 

“I only needed a few minute.”

Inside one of the cargo spaceships. “Sir there is a spaceship nearing us.”

 

“Don’t worry we are in stealth mode. Be quiet and don’t make any move, this spaceship doesn’t have any weapon to avoid suspicion.”

 

“Sir is getting neared.” The man's face begins to sweat.

 

“I said be quiet.”

 

“Sir we are in space; they can’t hear us even if we yell.”

 

The spaceship stops moving in front of the cargo ship. Both of them swallow their saliva. Then what they both fear happens the spaceship fires their missile at them.

 

“Quick evade it!” It was already too late when the missile hit the cargo spaceship. The cargo spaceship exploded.  

 

Soon something happens on the battlefield. All of the spaceship's devices are back to normal. The human battlecruiser also detected one of the enemy battlecruiser hiding using stealth technology.

 

Like water hitting a hot oil everything becomes chaos. The Federation military spaceship begins to surround the enemy spaceships. The spaceships that caused the chaos enter hyperspace and vanish from the space.

Inside the hyperspace is like many lines of light moving fast behind the spaceship.

 

“How long until we arrive at our next destination?”

 

“In one hour, after that we need to use the hyperdrive one more time to arrive at planet Teria.”

 

“I will be in my room, don't disturb me.”

My room in the spaceship is spacious, but there is no window to see outside. It’s to make sure the spaceship hull strong and doesn't have a weak point.

 

I sit on the floor and begin to meditate. I believe hyperspace is analogous to teleportation. The only difference is that hyperspace takes time and can travel light years faster. My body begins to sense the surrounding hyperspace and attempts to learn space magic. Can I learn it using vital energy or by incorporating hyperspace energy into my magic?

Creating a portal and moving faster than light is similar to teleporting. The issue with this is that the further you teleport, the greater the strain on your body. The void energy will eventually rip your body apart. Without the spaceship, everyone will perish inside hyperspace. How many people must die in order for the dream of space travel to come true.

 

While trying to figure out how to learn space magic in this world. I also start to absorb vital energy. The vital energy in space is similar to that on Otune. However, the energy within hyperspace is chaotic.

 

While sensing the energy. Inside hyperspace, there is a mixture of energy, such as mana. Right now, the issue is filtering the energy. Because other energies can harm my body.

While Sylas is meditating. The others are inside a meeting room.

 

The first to speak is Devin. “We haven’t properly introduced ourselves even though we work for Mr. Sylas. My name Devin is a doctor for human experiment.”

 

After that Elena and Vivian introduce themselves. Followed by Liam, Sara, Gianna, Arian, Logan, Mateo and Dylan.

 

There are only three people that know Sylas identity as Levi is Devin, Elena and Vivian. The only reason Levi reveals his identity to them is because he needs them to continue the human experiment project.

 

For Liam, Sara, Gianna, Arian, Logan, Mateo and Dylan. He has another plan. 

 

After that Devin spoke again. “I know some of you are being forced to obey Mr. Sylas. But this is a warning. If I find anyone trying to harm him, I will kill you myself.” Devin's body begins releasing pressure on them.

 

Some of them begin to turn pale from the pressure. Except for the people that can transform, it only feels like a breeze.

 

Gianna saw that begin to speak. “Don’t worry, if they are trying to betray Mr. Sylas, the first one to kill them is me.”

 

Sara also joined in. “Me too!” 

 

Dylan is actually going to retort Devin, but listening to Gianna's words. He quickly shut his mouth. Dylan still remembers the beating he got.

 

For the rest they don’t have an opinion as long as their family or their life is safe.

 

Sara looks at Liam and smiles. “Liam, I heard from Mr. Sylas. Everyone here has done the experiment. Except for you.”

 

Liam has been silent the entire time because he feels pressure from everyone in the room.  Including Mr. Sylas secretary, Vivian. He doesn’t know why but after hearing Sara's words. No wonder he feels pressure from them.

 

“How can you join this group?”

 

“You should join us and become the next human experiment.”

 

“Wait, wait I am not ready yet.” Liam quickly makes a no hand gesture.

 

“Don’t worry you will not feel pain.” Sara smiled.

 

Their eyes turn like a predator. Actually most of the human experiment first time transformation is painful. Like Mateo and Dylan that’s why they went crazy during the first transformation.

In The Orithyia galaxy, a spaceship appears from hyperspace.

 

I open my eyes; I am lucky, thanks to the energy from the hyperspace. My vital energy advanced straight to peak adept rank. I also managed to learn one of the space magic spells, spatial storage. With this I can travel anywhere without worrying about food and equipment. The unfortunate part is I don’t have enough time and energy to create an energy core.

 

Standing up I go to my table and take out a gun. The gun in my hand suddenly disappears and reappears again like in a magic show. It’s time to go to the cockpit.

 

Liam spoke. “Fuuh we are safe.” 

 

“You are right, we almost died.”

 

Suddenly the cockpit door opens and a man with dark blonde hair, average face and blue eyes enters. “How long is the hyperdrive cooling time?”

 

Vance answered. “According to the system it takes around 36 hours.”

 

Liam spoke. “We can’t do anything about it, the latest hyperdrive can only be used by the military or if you have connections with the federation.”

 

“Mr. Sylas we need to find a place to hide, we need to avoid space pirates.”

 

“Okay.”

Orithyia galaxy, a space pirate spaceship is hiding inside an asteroid belt.

 

“Captain, we detected a spaceship!” A man with a dog 's ear shouted.

 

“Good, everyone gets ready!” The captain looks like a soldier from the human military. The only weird thing is the pirate crews are from many different species.     

 

“Yaaa!”

 

“Finally I am getting bored!”

 

“Hahaha!”

 

“Kokoko!”
