The news about the Pharherb hoary virus vaccine has already spread. But according to the Pharherb representative the vaccine is still in the clinical trial stage and can’t be used by the public.   

 

After that the news began to die down. The one that controls the news is the Hoare family. They are grateful to Levi for saving their patriarch. At the same time, they all have been given the vaccine to kill or to prevent the virus from evolving.

Different from large dark fire lance spells, it is slow but has more destructive power. Heat beam spell is faster on targeting a fast moving spaceship.

 

The heat beam, almost the same as a mana cannon. Which emits a mana beam with strength that ranges from adept to master rank using mana stone. The difference between heat beam and mana beam is the fire element.

 

After casting the heat beam a few more times. I sit cross legged to meditate. On Assiorath world mana that enter the heart will be called aura. For the mana that enters the brain people call it magic. Since there is no mana in this world, I called it vital energy. Aura is no different from magic itself both being a form of mana manipulation.

 

There is a reason why they separate aura and magic in the past. Because of the success rate, learning both is hard. They learn it by watching nature and monsters, especially dragons. For me to combine aura and magic is hard. Suddenly I remember my second body, I can always create another body if something is wrong.

 

My main body right now still hasn't gone through with the mutant soldier and Phoenix reborn project. However, I will have to wait for my second body to complete the breakthrough. If anything happens, my second body will be the new main body.

 

Vital energy in the end is too weak. If only I found a new source of energy similar to mana.

Pharherb building. Professor Henry is ready to return home and waiting for his car. He is thinking about retiring soon, but there is no suitable person to replace him. While he is waiting, a group of people are already on standby to protect him.

After several minutes the car arrives and Professor Henry enters. When the car leaves the area a van belonging to the security company follows from behind.

 

Entering a large house, Professor Henry sees his son and daughter in law.

 

“Where are my granddaughters?”

 

“They are going to come home late and hang out with friends.”

 

“Advise your daughters, it’s not safe right now to come home late at night.”

 

“Father, they are already old enough to care for themselves.”

At night in Sruton city.

 

“Good bye, see you tomorrow!” A woman in her late twenties saying goodbye to her friend.

 

“Big sis, hurry up, we will get scolded again if we are late.” Her little sister spoke.

 

“Don’t worry, wait for me to book a cab.” 

 

While they are waiting for a cab. A black van stopped in front of them suddenly. When the door of the van opens, five men wearing black masks come out. Before they realize what is happening their mouths have been covered by a cloth and fainted.

 

The man quickly brings the two fainted women inside the van. The civilians that realize what happened quickly take pictures and call the police.

While I am talking my phone rings and the caller is Vivian. Answering the phone I can hear a woman's voice.

 

[“Hello, Mr. Levi I have something I need to report.”]

 

“Speak.”

 

[“Professor Henry granddaughters is missing.”]

 

“Do you know who did it?”

 

[“The police still haven’t found the culprit.”]

 

“I understand; I will take care of it.”

 

After the call ended I stood up.

 

“Levi, where are you going?”

 

“Something happened at the Pharherb. Don’t worry mother I will take care of it.”

 

“Please be careful.”

 

“Yes, mother.”

 

Inside a car, I send a message to Vance about the situation and help me find Professor Henry's granddaughters. With Vance group skill, the chance to find them is high.

 

The only reason I can think of why they were kidnapped is because of the vaccine. But they must be stupid or confident they can handle the consequences.

Inside a secret hideout.

 

“Stupid I order you to kidnap Professor Henry, not his granddaughter!”

 

“Boss, there are too many bodyguards around him.”

 

“Stupid what should we do to his granddaughters?”

 

“We can blackmail the professor to come here.”

 

“Stupid, our client just wanted the professor!”

 

“Since we can’t release them, shall we have fun with them?”

 

This time the kidnappers' leader couldn't hold his anger any longer and beat up the man. “If the professor finds out what happened to his granddaughters. Do you think he will cooperate!”

After that several people enter the building. But they don’t say anything and shoot at them.

The bullets pierce through their body and head. The only two kidnappers that survive are the leader and the one that he is beating.

 

The people wearing dark clothes and masks aim their guns and come closer to them.

 

“Wait, we surrender!” The leader shouted.

 

“Where is the woman you kidnapped?”

 

“Spare us and we'll tell you where the girl is.” The leader tries to negotiate but he soon hears someone shouting.

 

“We found the captive!”

 

“Good, bring this kidnaper for interrogation.”

 

“Yes, Mr. Liam.” Zoey spoke. 

 

After getting the location, Mr. Sylas has ordered the Blood shield mercenary to rescue Professor Henry's granddaughters. Now they need to know who is behind the kidnaping. Liam only brings the new recruit, Dylan and Zoey. Since they are fighting a small group according to Vance information.
