Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Leaving.

Planet Otune, Kaross city. Inside a warehouse building.

 

A bald middle aged man spoke. “How is the preparation?”

 

“Everything is ready; we will attack at the same time as other gang groups.”

 

“But boss, What about Liam's secret force?”

 

“Why are you afraid, the news about the secret force must be fake. We never saw it with our eyes, by the time we arrived the previous leader was already dead.”

 

“But, everyone that tried to kill Liam is dead now.”

 

Everyone inside the warehouse has a wary look at their faces. Although they have agreed to join, they are still afraid of Liam's secret force.

 

“Don’t worry about Liam's secret force, I already have the weapon to fight them.” While saying that the bald middle aged man shows his cyborg right arm.

 

In the past the bald man joins the mercenaries and gets into an accident. Because he doesn’t have enough money to regrow his right arm, he decided to install a cyborg arm.

 

The man’s inside the warehouse, still not fully convinced because Liam's secret force have killed many people. The reason they don’t leave is because the bald man promised them wealth and in the end, their greed has won over rational thought. 

 

While they are talking a white face mask man suddenly appears wearing a long coat and gambler hat. The figure walks toward the building light switch.

 

One of the men pointed his finger at the white face mask man. “Who is that?”

 

All of the people turn their heads to the mask man. The mask man remains silent and keeps walking near the light switch.

 

The bald man saw that become stern and spoke. “Who are you and why are you coming here?” At the same time the bald man gives a hand signal to his man.

 

Seeing the hand signal, the man’s inside the warehouse take out their weapon and aim it at the white face mask man.

 

I look at the people inside the warehouse. “This place is too bright, I need to turn it off before I start killing.” After saying that I turn off the light.

 

Inside the warehouse turned dark, the bald man quickly shouted. “Fire!”

 

“Bang!”

 

Multiple flash can be seen coming from the gun muzzle. After several minutes the gun shot stopped. The man’s guns are still aiming at the mask figure direction.

 

The bald man, after not hearing anything, orders one of his men. “You, go and check it.”

 

The man is afraid, but he doesn’t have a choice and follows the bald man's order. Taking out his phone, he turns on the phone light. Walking near the light switch there are no one.

 

“Turn on the light!” The bald man ordered.

 

When the man wanted to turn on the light switch. He feels a sharp object on his throat, after that he falls down to the ground and blood keeps flowing from his neck.

 

“Fire, keep shooting!” The bald man shouted, he has seen everything. The mask man suddenly appears and slices the man's neck.

 

Multiple gun shoots can be heard inside the warehouse. The warehouse is located in a secluded area in the city and even if people heard the gun shoot. They will ignore it because in this area there are a lot of gang fights.

 

After emptying their magazine, they reload their magazine.

 

“Ahhh.” A danger pierce through another person's neck. Beside him is a mask man.

 

Afraid, the several people near the lifeless body shoot at the mask figure. But the mask man, like a ghost disappears again and the bullet pierce through the dead man's body. 

 

“I am getting bored.” I throw several daggers in the air. Raising my hand, I begin controlling the dagger to attack. One by one the men begin to fall down to the floor with the blood begin congealing on the floor. The flying dagger pierce through their vital organs and dies. 

 

“Bastard!” The bald man shouted. He throws away his gun and raises his cyborg arm toward the mask man. The robotic hand palm begins to glow and a laser beam comes out from it.

 

I raised my arm and created a transparent shield. When the laser beam hits the shield, I step back several feet until I manage to deflect the laser beam using the shield. The laser beam hit the warehouse roof and created a burn hole.

Actually I can evade the laser beam, but I wanted to test my shield strength. It looks like in the future I need to be careful, if I am fighting with multiple people with laser weapons.

 

Disappearing at my location, I appear in front of the bald man. The first thing that I do is to destroy the cyborg arm, using a fireball spell. A blue ball of flame the size of a soccer ball floated on my palm and the fireball engulfed the bald man's cyborg arm. 

 

“Ahhhhh.” The bald man screams in pain because the cyborg arm is connected to his shoulder and begins to melt. He wanted to take off his cyborg arm but he couldn't touch it because of the heat.

 

The pain that the bald man felt was unimaginable, after that he fainted.

 

After analyzing my strength, I am still too weak compared to myself in the Assiorath world. In that world I am a master rank mage assassin. I can use assassin skill and mage spell to kill my enemy easily. If I am not vigilant in this world, with my current apprentice rank power. I will die because of their advanced weapon technology.

 

At first I decided to kill the bald man, but I need to find their accomplice. For the rest of the men inside the warehouse they are already dead. Taking out my dagger I stab it at the bald man's leg.

 

“Ahhhhh.” The bald man wakes up because of the pain.

 

“I am sorry; I forgot to bring any smelling salts to wake up fainted people. Now answer my question.”

 

In pain the bald man cursed. “You bastard!”

 

“That is not very nice, I already said sorry.” While saying that I stab one more time at the bald man's leg.

 

“Aaaaah stop stop, I am sorry.”

 

“That’s better, now answer my question. Who is your accomplice?”

 

The bald man in pain explains everything. After several minutes answering all of my questions. The bald man's face became paler because losing blood from his leg.

 

“I am satisfied, now I will help you.”

 

“Thank you.” The bald man said weakly.

 

I take out my gun and shoot the bald man in the head. The bald man's eyes open wide and a bullet already pierce through the man's head.

 

I don’t really like using a gun because it will expose my location, when killing people in the dark. Looking around the warehouse to check if there are any survivors I left.

At Red Cobra group headquarters, Liam is busy looking at his tablet. Suddenly a paper appeared on his desk.

 

Seeing that Liam is not surprised and begins reading the paper. His face looked shocked but soon calmed down. “Okay. I will handle it.”

 

There is no reply, but Liam knows just now Mr. Sylas is inside the room. Taking out his phone, he begins calling a few people to arrange everything. On the paper is the name of the people involved in trying to kill him.

Few days later outside the mansion field. A small spaceship is already waiting to take off.  

 

“Don’t worry young master, we will take care of madam safety.” The Buff man that spoke is the secret protector, that failed to protect his mother from the terrorist.

 

After discussing with each other and being transferred to another mission. They decided to quit and take Mr. Levi's offer to be his mother's personal guard. His mother previous guard already dead from the terrorist attack, and having an experience bodyguard is better that hiring the new one. 

 

I look at my mother's face and I know she is sad. But I need to get stronger. “Mom don’t worry, for the Pharherb, I already sent the information for a few new medicine formulas.” Pharherb is the name of the pharmaceutical company that I created using my mother's name.

 

“I don’t care about that, make sure you return back home safe.” While saying that my mother hugged me and tears could be seen falling down from her face. Because I have never left home far away from her, since I was born.

 

Seeing that the butler and maids that have worked in the mansion for a long time shed tears.

 

“Don’t worry mom, I am only going camping in the forest.” 

 

“But the forest has dangerous beasts.”

 

“Don’t worry, I already brought a weapon, in case of an emergency.”

 

After consoling my mother for a few more minutes, I entered the spaceship. I wave my hand before leaving. Closing the spaceship door, the spaceship begins to hover and fly toward the sky.

 

Sitting on the spaceship seat, I begin to think about my future plan. Looking outside the window I can see the city and land below. I don’t know how long I am going to stay in the forest, but I will return here first, before leaving the planet.
