Adrian currently sat in his living room where he was playing on his large tv. At the moment his attention was tied to his game as this was one of the ways he spent his time. The game in question was Bloodborne which happened to be one of his favorites as he liked the challenge. His friend's son got him to try it saying an old man like him would call it quits before finishing.

He proved the kid wrong as he was on his new game plus 9 run so he was owed 20 bucks. He leaned forward and sifted his weight calling attention to his missing right leg. It was gone from above the knee as the damage had torn it beyond saving. He was just happy that he did not lose his testicles and the prosthetic helped him move mostly without issue.

The worst of it all was probably the blasted phantom pains which he ignored. They never went away no matter how much time went on which was just part of life. One good thing about his situation was that both his parents were well off as his mother was a doctor while his father was a lawyer. He could have followed in their footsteps, but he was not a normal person. He was secretly a blood-drunk savage with a craving for violence.

Only that the beast within had been dormant as he had lost his fangs and claws. He felt the violence and the blood lust rise again which he quelled down.

'Oh, the memories.'

The flashbacks of what he did always seemed to want to tempt him to just let loose. Sadly he was a cripple and old now so he killed those ideas. He just was not that man anymore but remembered his prime days and how many people's lives he had snuffed out. He sighed as he focus back on his boss's fight. Now he was living off his parent's inheritance as they both had fallen out of health in different ways.

His father had passed 7 years ago from cancer and left his fortune to Adrian his mother. He had never desired his parent's wealth as despite all his flaws he still loved them both. Sadly his loving mother caught dementia not long after the death of her husband and is in a nursing home. He was incapable of looking after her in his state, but he still got her the best help. He even visits often as she is the only family he has left.

Which is why he got this decent apartment that had enough room for him to live happily. With the vast wealth his parents left behind he does not need to work or bother with anything. He does not splurge like crazy, but just enough to keep him entertained. This included video games, comics, anime, and novels, along with the occasional hook-up with a girl he knows.

She was in her late 20s and in need of money so they hooked up from time to time at the cost of Adrian paying her rent. He felt that was fair as he was old after all.

'Isn't her rent due in a few days? Wonder if she needs anything.'

The main reason she does not mind it as much was that when Adrian wore his prosthetic his real height was visible. He was 6'3 with a short buzz cut, dark green eyes, and still fit and healthy for his age. Even hated the idea of getting fat, weak, and dependent on others so he kept up with a regular exercise routine.

At that moment he looked back to his in-game hunter and dodged out of the way of Maria's attack. She was on last health so he dodged and weaved until he landed that last hit with Ludwig's holy sword. He just had an obsession with greatswords like Dragonslayer from Berserk. They were just so brutal and awesome that he would love to have the strength to wield one.

Once he killed Maria the game gave him the PREY SLAUGHTERED screen.

"And that is that. That kid owes me 20 bucks."

He reached out and put on his prosthetic leg and got up on the couch. He stretched a little as he was getting older. No matter how much he wanted to deny it time was catching up to him. Before long he would end up just like the people he killed and like his father. For a second he wondered if selling his soul would let him fight again, but he denied it. He had never seen anything supernatural in all his life, so that became just a passing thought.

Just as he was about to leave his apartment a giant black thunder blot fell down from the sky and struck Adrian's apartment exactly. He and his entire apartment were incinerated in less than a millisecond. Adrina could not even feel a thing as he was dead before his pain receptors noticed.  Next thing he knows he opened his eyes and is face to face with a strange individual.

It was a girl who looked barely 15, but at the same time, she gave Adrian the chills. Just looking at her caused him to feel like he was not looking at a girl, but an eldritch monster. Where the whites of the eye should be was entirely black except for the heterochromatic pupils of neon blue and red. She sat on a large throne made of black metal with several chains as thick as cars going into the abyss.

The chains surged into what he could only describe as the abyss where he heard roars, screeches, howls, and screams. He could even feel the gaze of countless beings from the abyss as from time to time glowing eyes appeared from it.  Yet he is not afraid of those as her presence makes that irrelevant.

She shifted her left leg over her right and her right hand supports her chin on the arm of her throne rest and she looks at him from the top to bottom. He fell to his knees trying to avoid angering whoever she was. He wondered if this was his answer to the offer to sell his soul and now he regretted it.

She cleared her voice and begins to speak in an unrecognizable language that sounds like claws, howls, and an unleashed darkness where he felt like if she keeps talking he will die. His mind began to blank and death seemed better than listening to that. Suddenly that stopped as she snaps her fingers and talked again this time in a calm voice.

"My mistake I forgot you mortal could die from the primordial tongue. Adrian Blake, I happened to have heard your request to sell your soul. All for the chance to cause more death and pain which let's say got my attention."

Adrian looked up and clenched his hands.

"You heard me?"

"Why of course? How could I not when someone like you appeared among humans? You are human, but you are more of a wild beast in human skin. How could I not be interested in a specimen like you?"

Adrian decided to steel his nerves and ask what he wanted to know.

"Who or what are you if you don't mind me asking?"

She did not.

"Yes, you should know who I am. My real name can't be heard by mortals and it would cause your soul to be destroyed so just call me Death.  I am the physical manifestation of all that has died and all that will die, but that is not enough. I am always in need of followers to spread death in my name which empowers me. I can see it in you, if you were born in a different world you would be a truly dangerous entity."

Hearing that got his attention.

"You can fix me? Let me be myself again?"

The beast within began to awaken and claw its way out of the shell he had made. That is just what she wanted from Adrian as he was truly perfect.

"That is right. Serve me and you can let lose the beast that is your black soul  Are you interested?"

This was not just a deal with the Devil, but something even older and stronger. He would take it if that meant he could start again what he wanted.

"My soul is yours, give me the power I desire."

She grinned at gaining a new herald.

"You may request 3 wishes from me. From then on you will be left to your own. Just do as you want and murder who you want."

Blake sat up and began to ponder on his wishes. He knew that she was a powerful entity and he would be bound for eternity so he decided to choose something he would be able to take pride in himself at the end of the day. First off all was that being a human would do no good so he changed that.

"For my first wish is I want to choose my species. I want to be a Lord like Artorias or Gwyn."

"I see. I can see that you wish to have one of those systems I have seen the gods give out. This is easy for me to grant, do you wish to stay like this?"

"Yes, I am fine with my current appearance."

She waved her hand and created a screen to allow him to change his appearance if he had anything he wanted to change. Just as he said he decided to keep his looks based on his current appearance except for the fact he will be 11 feet tall. He even kept the tattoos that he got in the army. It looks just like him, but larger, but he was curious about something.

"Can I control my own size?"

"I shall grant you that as a boon for this."

Now he wanted to have access to as many souls as words, but she already read his mind. She decided to give him access to Dark Souls 1-3, Demon Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Sekiro, Nioh, and even Code Vein for him. She let him know about this ahead of time.

"Your second wish is granted already as I read your mind beforehand. You wish to have access to as many training worlds as possible which is fine with me. As long as you kill I don't care what you do. Of course, there will be a price as your starting power will be higher than normal. As such the danger will be much higher. Is this fine with you?"

He nodded.

"That is fine with me. You will still be able to level up without issue so don't worry. Get as strong as possible through this as you have a long path ahead of you Adrian. The gear of Artorias is yours if you want it."

He shook his head as that was not what he wanted. He had armor he preferred to it.

"Instead can you give me the Fume Knight Armor, and swords from Dark Souls 2?"

She did not care either way.

"Fine, that is your starting gear and you can change it out if you want or upgrade it if you want."

Now for his third and final wish, he has a great idea.  He thinks of the Dragon God from Demon Souls and the many dragons within the souls series.

"Can you make me a Dragon Tamer or just a Beast Tamer in general?"

She respects his idea as she is quite a lover of beasts herself. She is a tamer for fun and war so this matches her expertise. She might be the goddess of Death, but she took over as the Goddess of Beasts from the original by killing him.

"Granted, it will be part of your class giving you an affinity to beasts especially dragons and their relatives. This might be my favorite of your wishes. Now, what world would you like to be sent to as a main base."

While not his favorite he did know of one very annoying world where he would be able to build up power.

"Can you take me to DxD? It is a simple world, but not in the present. Send me 1,000 years in the past. There are a lot of dragons I would be able to add to my army."

He had no other intentions for it besides that.

"Granted, you know if you can survive you might just live up to my chosen one. No one in history has murdered as many as he has. Even now he rages and murdered in my name so live up to his example."

He was interested in who that was.

"Can you tell me who it is?"

"You will figure it out in time. Now, I will send you to a reclusive part of the Underworld so here begins your journey Adrian. Before you ask for a time dilation it is already added to your system. Be prepared for a lot of pain as assimilation of your wishes will have to be installed to your soul."

She snapped her fingers and a black and blue portal appears in front of Adrian.  She gives him one last deadly warning.

"Good luck, Adrian Blake. Live your life to the fullest and murder as much as you wish."

The portal opened in a random location in the Underworld and sucked in Adrian's soul. When his soul emerged it became larger and darkened rapidly as the power was absorbed. Once the wishes were assimilated Adrian's new body began to form around his soul slowly. This whole process was quite painful, but when it was finished he opened his eyes with a loud gasp.

The pain of making a new body and assimilation a system into your soul is extremely painful. He used the two giant swords to stand up as it is going to take some getting used to being this huge. He was glad he could shrink and grow at will as this will be super useful later on for his own convenience.

He thought of the word status which caused a surge of information to enter his mind.

<Welcome to the Soulsborn system. The first step is to choose a world to begin with. Rember, by choosing your choice is finished until you complete it.>

<Demon Souls.>

<Dark Souls 1-3>

<Bloodborne.>

<Eldren Ring>

<Nioh>

<Code Vein>

<Sekiro Shadows Die Twice>

<Doom.>

<????War Hammer40k.???? DO NOT CHOOSE BEFORE COMPLETING ALL OTHER WORLDS. NOT RECOMMENDED YET. NOT STRONG ENOUGH. DO NOT PICK. DEATH GURANTEED.>

"I am no idiot. I won't go into Warhammer any time soon."

He stabbed his longsword into the ground removes the black helmet he is wearing and looked around the wasteland that looks like a desert. There is no sun in the sky, only a purple sky. He touches his beard which he did not want to lose at all.

" Might as well start in the order.  I choose Dark Souls 1."

<Affrimtive, You may enter at any time. Time dilatation is 100 times faster in the game. Enter when you wish.>

Adrian looked all around and sees that he already got some contact with his first creatures of the Underworld.

"Giant fucking scorpions, centipedes, and all other manners of bullshit. Fine, trial by combat."

He placed the helmet back on and grabs both swords as he walked forward without an ounce of hesitation. He had to break the new body in after all as it had been so long since he felt happy. Now, the beast was awake and out for blood.
