Unfortunately, this little trick of mine didn’t work at all with Mr. Li. He glared at me. “I think you just want to give Jing Tian a scare. You just want to give everyone a scare! You’re unreliable! You’re already a person who’s about to become a mother, yet you’re still playing around like this. How are you going to educate your child in the future? Being a mother means you have to be responsible for her…”
Mr. Li finally found an opportunity to teach me a lesson. There’s no end to it. I was just about to interrupt him with a smile when Tong Yan timidly said, “Master, there’s some new information about Nanxing’s blood.”
Mr. Li immediately turned to Tong Yan. Perhaps it was because the fierce expression on his face had yet to change, Tong Yan was so frightened that she took a step back.
However, she still stood firmly and met her master’s gaze. “Master, why don’t you take a look at my sample records?”
Mr. Li didn’t say a word.
Mr. Li had always been indifferent to others. He was so indifferent that he had almost no emotions.
There were really not many people who could make him angry. I could be considered to be the exception.

For some reason, this little old man liked to put on a sanctimonious appearance in front of me and lecture me.
Mr. Li walked to Tong Yan to look at her experiment table.
Tong Yan put her hand behind her back and waved at me, indicating that she wanted me to leave as soon as possible!
I couldn’t help but laugh. Tong Yan was helping me out in order to avoid being lectured by master.
It was really quite touching. However, I wasn’t afraid of being lectured!
I followed them eagerly. Tong Yan looked at me helplessly.
Mr. Li had already walked to the experiment table and said to Tong Yan without thinking, “You don’t have to feel sorry for her, she has a thick skin! Do you really need to help her out?”
I giggled and followed him. “Master understands me too well.”
Mr. Li had already picked up Tong Yan’s notebook, and the more he looked at it, the deeper his brows furrowed.
I didn’t understand. Tong Yan had a blank expression.
Without a word, Mr. Li grabbed my wrist and ordered me, “Sit down!”

Tong Yan pulled her chair over to me. I took the opportunity to sit down and let Mr. Li take my pulse properly.
Looking at his increasingly grave expression, I couldn’t help but be curious. “What’s going on? You should at least tell us. I’m so curious I’m going to die!”
Mr. Li let go of my wrist and stretched out his hand to hit my head. “Stop with the talk of death! Don’t be so serious!”
He flipped through Tong Yan’s notes and Tong Yan looked at him nervously and anxiously.
I went over as well. I could recognize every word. I didn’t know what it meant when I put them together.
“Nanxing, you’re a pregnant woman. You should take good care of your body in the future,” Mr. Li suddenly said gently.
I rolled my eyes. “This sudden gentleness is very scary, Master.”
Tong Yan laughed silently and turned his face away.
Mr. Li glared at me fiercely. “Seeing that you’re going to be a mother, I won’t argue with you!”
I grinned. “Then thank you, master. But can you tell me what’s wrong with my blood? Is it harmful to the child?”
Mr. Li shook his head and closed Tong Yan’s notebook. “Don’t worry. It’s not harmful to the child or you. The Phoenix Blood is too much of a mystery. It’s not up to any of us to decide what will happen in the end.”
“But, don’t you find it strange that half of my blood is poison and the other half is medicine?” I asked him.
