Chapter 15: ~Change Is Okay~

   Xue Li, who was looking at her, frowned and immediately panicked because almost immediately after those words fell. Luna sat down, folded her legs together, wrap her hands around her knees, and cried. That wasn't the reason Xue Li panicked. The reason was the energy level coming from her body was rising and it was chaotic. It was as if two energies were fighting for dominance in her.

 

  Outside the room, Huno's left arm glowed red, and the patterns that had once disappeared emerged. 'Something is wrong,' Huno said, feeling his left-hand ache.

'Brother, can you feel that?' Lee Wei said, staring at the door.

Huno was about to ask what when he felt it too, the energies coming from the room. 'Brother, I'm breaking the door,' Huno said.

 

 Not waiting for an answer, he smashed his hand filled with energy to the door. A side of the door broke and behind that space was ice. Lee Wei took action immediately, breaking the remaining part of the door and the ice.

 

They rushed into the room and found Xue Li protecting her body with a layer of Qi energy while opposite her sat Luna, who was curled up. The room was chilly and filled with both cold energy and dark energy that fought each other.

 

  'Luna, Xue Li,' Huno shouted. Xue Li turned to look at him and rushed over. Lee Wei stood in front of Huno, protecting him from the fighting energies. Xue Li joined hands with Lee Wei to protect him, but it was not enough because those energies were stronger than both of them. 'Brother, we need to step out first,' Lee Wei said. What he heard next was Huno screaming behind him.

 

  Huno's left arm glowed more, the red becoming thicker and the strange patterns becoming clearer. The pain kept on increasing as if there was no end and his hand felt like it was about to burst into pieces. 'Senior brother Lee,' Xue Li called out while she stared at Luna. Lee Wei turned to look. He was shocked as he said, 'Peak True Realm,'.

 

The aura coming from Luna was on the same level as a peak True realm. Lee Wei knew this because the sect master had a similar aura.

 

  'Not good, we need to leave,' Lee Wei said as the layer of Qi energy around dissipated. He grabbed Huno with one hand, held Xue Li with the other, and rushed out of the room and down the stairs. Ma Lie, who was down, stared at them as they rushed towards. He felt a great pressure on him that made him unable to move. Xue Li grabbed him and rushed outside with Lee Wei and Huno.

 

  When they got out, they noticed several people were around. Lee Wei looked up and saw the sect master and the elders in the air.

 

'What's going on here?' an elder asked.

 

'I have seen the seniors,' Lee Wei said with his hand cupped. 'It is quite hard to explain the third elder,' he added.

 

The third elder frowned and was about to say something when he heard a booming sound. He looked up and saw a giant creature standing in the middle of the building. 'What the hell is that?' an elder asked.

 

  The creature looked like a white-colored beast but also like a white statue with a black cycle at the center of its body. From that circle, black color spread around like stripes.

 

  'Don't leave me, don't leave me,' the words echo as the whole building freezes. The ice spread around in all directions of the compound when it reaches Huno and the rest it stop and went a circle around them. When Lee Wei looked up, he saw the giant looking at them. When the ice went around them, the giant looked away.

 

  'Elders!' the sect master yelled. 'Three, stay and stop the ice from spreading. The rest come with me,' he added and flew to the creature.

 

  Huno, who was still in pain seeing this, stood up and ran towards the creature. Lee Wei held him. 'It's dangerous,' he said.

 

'If we don't go Luna will get hurt,' Huno said. As soon as he finished speaking, the elders and the creature started fighting.

 

    'Fine, what do we do?' Lee Wei asked. 'I need to get close to her. If I could get close, I can take her away,' Huno replied. 'Okay, Xue'er!' Lee Wei called out. 'Let's go,' she nodded.

 

   Both wrapped Huno with their Qi energy and flew up towards the creature.

 

   'Get back three of you,' an elder said, stopping them.

 

'Eighth elder, please, we need to get close. If we can get close enough, we can take that thing away,' Lee Wei said.

'How are you going to do that?' the eighth elder asked.

'I can't explain elder, please let us through,' Lee Wei said.

'No, take them back, the seventh elder, eighth elder, take them back,' an elder yelled while blasting a part of the giant. Almost instantly, the part came back.

'Great elder please,' Xue Li pleaded, but got no reply.

 

The seventh elder turned and flew over. Almost immediately the giant turned to look at him. 'Leave them alone,' a loud cry came out of the giant's mouth.

 

 The giant's hand stretched out to grab at the seventh elder, who was flying over. 'Stop, Luna stop,' Huno shouted and then screamed in pain. His left hand felt like it was going to explode to pieces.

  'If you don't stop, I'm going to die right now,' Huno said. The incoming hand stopped in mid-air and the seventh breathed heavily. Huno raised his left arm as the giant looked at him. The left arm was over twice its original size, glowing red, and dripping with lots of blood. Frowning, the giant looked at the elder and dropped the hand. The chilling air around slowly dissipated.

 

  'The power you are using has exceeded my limit. If you continue, I don't know if I'll be able to last,' Huno said. 'Brother,' Huno added.

 

  Lee Wei understood immediately and in front of the elders, the three flew to the giant. When they got close, Huno raised his arm and said, 'Come in,'. Nothing seems to happen at first, but Huno felt the pain of dragging the giant. He raised his right hand to support his left. After some minutes, the giant disappeared at of sight.

 

  'Luna, are you okay?' Huno asked as Lee Wei and Xue Li descended with him. They drop him softly and he sat down on the ground.

  'I'm... I don't know,' her voice came into his ear.

  'I won't leave you,' Huno said.

 

The sect master and the elders landed wondering what was going on. 'What...,' the great elder was about to question but was stopped by the sect master.

 

  'You are just saying that. You haven't even seen me yet. I'm different now,' Luna said.

  'And what if you are different? Does it matter?' Huno asked.

  'It does, I'm no longer small and you won't like me, you won't play with me, my body is bigger and taller, my chest has two things on it and my butt increased for no reason,' Luna yelled.

 

Huno laughed out loud, 'Why are you laughing?' Luna asked.

Huno thought and said, 'What do you think of senior sister? Isn't she similar to what you described?'.

'I guess,'.

'Isn't she beautiful?'.

Xue Li blushed and stared at the ground hearing this.

'Yes she is,'.

'She's big right, but doesn't she and senior brother still play around like children?'.

Lee Wei almost laughed and smiled at Xue Li.

'Yes they do,'.

 

'Oh!' Luna said in a low tone. 'But what if senior sister changes one day out of nowhere won't senior brother stay away?'.

Huno turned and looked at Lee Wei. 'Brother, if junior sister changes overnight, will you stop loving and playing with her?' Huno asked.

'I'll love her even if it means I'll die,' Lee Wei said, and the blushing Xue Li blushed more.

'You hear that there are some things that you just can't stop loving, no matter how it changes. A darling friend, a loved one, and family is one of those things,' Huno said. 'So stop worrying about what you look like. I'm even looking forward to seeing you right now. You must be beautiful too,' he added.

'What if I'm no longer cute?'.

'It doesn't matter. In my eyes, you'll be my cute little friend,' Huno said. 'So let your growth all out. If you try to prevent it, you'll hurt yourself. I will be sad to see you hurt,'.

'Okay,'.

 

'Come out,' Huno said.

Luna stood in front of the three of them. The previous aura on her was gone and it was as if she was a non-cultivator.

'Wow,' Huno said and smiled.

 

   Luna stared at him and when her eyes moved to his left arm, she sobbed. The left hand was a mess, blood flowed from it and in some areas, you could see a white matter. She rushed over to him, hugged him and apologized, 'I'm sorry, Huno, I'm sorry, please I'm sorry,'.

 

  Her body, which was just lesser than a foot smaller than his, pressed onto him, her arm wrapped around his body, and her head sank into his chest as she continued to apologize.

 

  With his right hand brushing her hair, Huno said, 'It's alright, I told you it's not good to cry, right?'.

 

She raised her head, wiped her eyes, and said, smiling, 'I'm not crying,'.

Huno stretched his hands, wiped her tears and said, 'you are a pain in the butt,'. Luna stopped smiling and had a somber expression on her face.

 

  Huno continued, 'I was a pain in the butt too, I guess we are the same right?'. Luna pouted and looked away, 'I'm not a pain in the butt,'.

 

  'Senior brother, senior sister, I'm sorry,' Luna apologized. 'It's alright junior sister,' Lee Wei said, while Xue Li patted her head. 'You and I need to have a girls' talk,' Xue Li said.
