Going downstairs to the lower floor of the house, Hunter could feel a very oppressive and also very melancholy air observing the state of the others who had still survived.

Selling his arrival, Clay quickly got up from his sitting position and affirmed with a smile of relief "Hunter you're okay!"

"Yes, thank you," Hunter replied patting him on the shoulder.

"I called an agent, he should be here in a few minutes" inform Clay with visible relief.

"I see and good news."

The only survivors still alive, from what he could see, were only Clay, Trent, Jenna, and Bree. This was quite predictable; the others, besides having no ability to survive against Jason, were also the first expendable victims of the film.

"Yes, yes, we're all glad you woke up! But we still have to think about the crazy maniac who is trying to kill us all," Trent stated in a very aggressive tone.

"Trent-!" said Jenna trying to stop her boyfriend from being too insensitive.

"No, Jenna! Don't try to stop me, I never liked the two of them and now, with this killer, I can't trust them !"

Hunter did nothing to stop Trent's breakdown, mostly because he didn't particularly care, and besides, he was doing exactly what he wanted.

To  prey! A very frightened prey, to be precise.

*Knock on the door*

"Police! Open the door."

Hearing the voice outside, everyone breathed a sigh of relief as he and Clay stepped forward to try to open the door.

The better word would have been try, because as soon as they approached, a long piece of iron went through the door, with quite a bit of blood on the floor indicating the person's death.

"He's here," murmured Hunter in a rather quiet tone.

Seeing the death of the policeman and hearing Hunter's words. The others have began to fidget and panic as they paid close attention to their surroundings to search for the alleged serial killer.

"Why don't you come out, you son of a bitch! We're not afraid of you!" shouted Trent now completely beside himself.

Hunter shook his head at the idiot and slowly approached Clay, saying, "We can't stay here, we're too easy a target."

Clay nodded at his words smoothly, "I agree, but getting out of here without knowing where that lunatic is is suicide."

Hunter looked at Trent with a peculiar glint in his eyes as he smilingly stated, "I know, don't worry, I'm sure he's already changed his location, we just have to stick together...."

The group slowly began to leave the lake house. Several noises that could be heard in the darkness made everyone's excitement rise, but fortunately they were able to get out without any problems.

On their way out, they saw the policeman's impaled body, and the girls became frightened and tried not to cry lest they become an even easier target.

"We can't keep running forever, we will end up killed," Hunter asserted.

"What do you suggest we do?" asked Clay, who by now had no ideas for survival against Jason.

"We need to split up," replied Hunter with obviousness.

"No!" shouted Bree immediately, hugging Hunter's body tightly to keep him from leaving.

"Trent and I are trying to distract him while you three look for a place to hide. Clay and I saw a place we were going to get to, go there," Hunter replied after pretending to think about it for a moment, completely ignoring Bree.

"No, no! Why me!" stated Trent in a tone full of fear and despair.

"Don't I know? Maybe because you are a man! Did I maybe want to tell us something in these last moments? You don't have to be afraid, we will accept you for who you are, after all you are our 'friend,'" Hunter stated in a worried tone, but full of sarcasm.

Hearing his words, Trent sprouted several veins on his forehead and saw that everyone was looking at him to see his response. Finally, without much choice, he declared with a grunt, "All right, all right."

"Well, now..." Hunter did not have time to finish the words that a man fell from the roof to end up right next to them.

Hunter certainly did not expect such an aggressive Jason and immediately pushed Bree in Clay's direction as he shouted, "Go now!"

Clay grabbed Bree and Jenna's hand and they started running toward a specific destination he had pointed out to them earlier. He and Trent stood in front of Jason for a few seconds before Trent started running as if his life depended on it, and in a way it did.

"It was expected," Hunter said in a calm, cool tone as he dodged a machete strike with ease.

Hunter remained calm with a cool head and tried to use this dangerous situation to succeed in returning to the state he was in during his first encounter with Jason.

To his misfortune, however, he did not succeed. In fact, if he had to be completely honest, Hunter felt that his body was weaker and more fragile than before, but at least he could sense that his brain was lighter and could process more information.

"A little more and I can reach this state on command," Hunter muttered, as he dodged another axe blow very close to his head.

Continuing to dodge several blows, by now Hunter's goal was obvious: to try to train against Jason in this situation of obvious fear and desperation to try to unlock that state indefinitely.

"ahh ahh," breathing hard Hunter had reached the limit of his body, so he decided to stop training for the time being.

"Thanks man, without you it would have taken me a lot longer. To thank you I'm giving you a present instead of your slut of a mother," Hunter declared with his characteristic mocking smile.

Hunter grabbed two flashbang grenades from his backpack and quickly removed the aluminum ring on the left side from both and threw them directly into Jason's face, which was fearlessly charging him with his axe for a powerful top-down slash.

"BOOM" "BOOM"

The two flashbang exploded causing an explosion of light that blinded Jason. Hunter immediately seized the moment to run in the direction his good friend Trent had fled, and it was not difficult for him to find him with all the tracks he had left in the forest.
