Harvey scrammed and avoided Zion's flippancy. He went to the washroom and took a bath. Cold water flowed through his body that relieved him from restlessness.

Zion was sitting on the sofa and reading a book. The book cover was erotic which intrigued Zion. He opened the book and noticed a name printed on the front page. 'Harvey Cruz'.He was elated when he found out that this man was a writer.

While Zion was scanning amusingly on the erotica, Harvey caught him. Harvey hurriedly approached Zion and snatched the book. His face turned red because of embarrassment.

"You write adult literature, didn't you? I just take a look. It is good.", Zion gleefully praised the book he was holding.

"....."

"Oh, you felt embarrassed by it or by me. I didn't think that you like smut.", Zion continued.

"It wasn't mine.", Harvey gave reason with uneasiness.

"Really? Your name was printed on it.", Zion wasn't convinced.

"Ummm...", Harvey scratched his head because he can't think of any reason. "I wrote it. I tried to put it on writing but that's not my genre."

Harvey admitted that he owned it. "I didn't publish it."

"You always criticize me when I talk about sensual things but you are into it, too. HAHAHA.", Zion talked dismissively.

"I am not into it.", Harvey was defensive.

While they were arguing, Harvey's phone rang. He quickly picked it up and answered the phone call.

"What?", Harvey stunned. He immediately ended the call and went outside.

Zion noticed him with a dispirited expression. He wanted to ask but Harvey already ran swiftly outside the room.

So, he decided to continue reading the book. When Harvey was back, he was crying.

"What happen?", Zion asked anxiously.

Harvey wiped his tears and composed himself. "My friend committed..."

"John?", Zion verified.

"It's not him. My other friend.", Harvey said in response.

"Who is he?", Zion was probing.

"I just met him on that day. He was teasing me that I am old on that day. He looks very happy but now...", Harvey was faltering.

While Harvey was reminiscing his experience with his cousin, Zion's anklet sparked and jangled. "I need to go back to the netherworld."

"Why? My friend aka cousin dies so...", Harvey uttered.

"Shhh, don't worry. I will be quick."

"I will go together with you. I want to see that netherworld.", Harvey requested but Zion stopped him.

Zion disappeared into thin air and Harvey was left helpless. So, he went to the kitchen and drank water. He soothed himself with the cold water.

That night, Harvey visited Jake, his cousin who had died, and he offered alms. Jake's mother was still weeping on the coffin and mumbled, "Jake...Why you did do that? Why do you take your own life? We will miss you so much..." Harvey saw the old woman and comforted her. "Auntie, don't be sad anymore. He will be now at peace." The Auntie glared at him and murmured, "Who are you?". He was surprised. This old woman didn't acknowledge him anymore since he lived in the city and had even forgotten his nephew. "Auntie, I am a son of your brother." She scrutinized Harvey and muttered, "Oh, I am sorry my nephew. I am just lost myself."

Neighbors and relatives visited Jake's reviewal. Prayers and litany were conducted. After the orison, those who knew Jake were telling insights about him at the funeral.

While the people outside were hectic because there was a game of chances, cards, and 'toss coin'. The tables that were arranged in the tent were occupied by gamblers.

Harvey took his phone and played games to pass time. He took a glance at the people passing by and smiled. He admitted that he did not acknowledge anyone at the funeral except Jake's family. His home was in the city and this was Jake's hometown.

The coffee was now served and the children were bustling to have one. People outside were uproarious. They didn't attend to pay a visit to the dead, instead, they were for the bet and wager. Some people just came to snack. Harvey was pleasantly occupied by what he observed. These people have this kind of attitude.

He was sitting on the bench on the verandah when he noticed the people were frozen. They were bewitched by someone. The gambling stopped and they fixated their eyes on the newcomer. "Who is that?", one of the crowds asked."Is he an actor?". "Handsome boy.". The girls who were there felt excited as they stared at the man.

"Is this the house of Jake?", the man asked one in the crowd. The girls nearby were distracted and lost in thought. They were similar as they were affected by voodoo.

"Yes, yes. Are you his friend?", the girl who was not asked immediately answered.

The man nodded and talked at a slow pace while scanning the people.

On the verandah, Harvey felt something amiss so he hurried his steps outside and eavesdropped. He asked one of the gamblers, "Mister, what happen?"

The Mister blinked and frowned, "People saw an angel."

Harvey was puzzled so he kept on asking, "What angel?"

"There was a newcomer. A beautiful man." He pointed to the girls and went on, "Notice the girls. They were similar to bewitched."

Harvey thanked the man and continued to walk with the people. He searched for the so-called man. What he saw was a very familiar man. It was Zion, the witty.

He quickly came closer to the man without concerning the onlookers. Zion was taken aback when he was pulled. He turned his head and saw Harvey with an impassive expression.

The girls nearby were awed when the two men were looking intently. They screamed as they saw two people in love. While, on the other hand, those sensible onlookers became disgusted and frowning. It was compelling.

Zion snapped his fingers in front of Harvey's face."Hello!" Harvey froze for a moment before returning to his state. He looked around and noticed the glaring eyes of the people and those lovely eyes of girls.

They misunderstood the situation and concluded something wrong. Harvey was hit so he rushed to the verandah and was banished. Zion saw him walking away so he quickly followed the man. But he stepped back, faced the crowd then declared, "Stop eavesdropping, sirs and madams. You can think whatever. What you perceived will not always be what it meant."

He continued to the verandah and those people sitting on the benches were awed. But, he just gave them a smile and he entered the living room where the dead was viewed.

The living room was wide so he decided to stop in the corner and scanned the environment. People inside noticed him and asked, "Boy, who are you looking for?" Zion smiled and asked politely, "Good evening, madams and sirs. May I know if you notice Harvey here?" The people looked at each other and were pleased by the politeness of Zion. So, one of the women continued, "I am sorry, boy. But I didn't recognize that man you mentioned." The old lady asked her seatmate about Harvey but he shook his head. They did not know Harvey. "Thank you, madams and sirs. I excuse myself.", Zion excused himself and proceeded to the kitchen.

Harvey was sitting in the corner. His head bowed down and laid on the seat's back.

Zion took a look at the kitchen and he spotted Harvey on the corner. He pursued his steps towards Harvey.

He patted Harvey's shoulder, "Harvey".

Harvey looked up and rubbed his eyes."Are you done disharmonizing the crowd?"

Zion was taken aback and explained, "What disharmonizing? They gathered together when they saw me. Am I disharmonizing?"

Harvey stood up and mumbled, "You pissed me off."

Harvey ditched Zion and approached the woman in the corner. The woman fell silent when Harvey asked her something. Behind, Zion looked suspiciously.

He quickly rushed after and stood beside Harvey. "Hi! What are you talking about? Is it about me?". Zion asked mockingly while the woman was stunned when he saw Zion. Harvey was irritated so he quickly falsified, "This is my girlfriend."

Zion stared in wonder and uttered, "Finally, bro. You have tried one." He laughed loudly and peered at the two.

This man had bad intentions.
