It was dawn when Zion saw Harvey lying on the road. He quickly ran towards the man and lifted him. He brought Harvey inside the hut. The environment was so quiet that even the breathing can be heard. Zion walked for the oil lamp in the small table and kindled it. Harvey was still unconscious. So, Zion went to the kitchen to find for food. The blood and the stripped body were still there in the kitchen. But Zion did not care anymore the stripped corpse of a person.

When Zion brought the food to the small living space, a song was heard outside. It was a 'Planting Rice' folk song. The song was accompanied by gong and ukelele. The quiet surrounding changed into haunting atmosphere. The music was coming nearer and nearer.

'Harvey, wake up.', Zion whispered.

Harvey was still in the daze and his eyes was still half-closed. He saw Zion sitting beside him.

"Why am I here? It's dark. I need to get go back to the old Grandpa.", Harvey talked.

'Silence. There were headless people outside.', Zion warned Harvey.

"Headless? I am not afraid." Harvey walked towards the door.

Harvey stepped back when he heard the singing of people outside. He peeked through the hole in the bamboo door, and he saw the so-called headless people. They were lifting bunches of hay and carrying gongs and ukulele. They synchronously marched along the road. They were decapitated but there was voice heard from them. They were singing a 'Planting Rice' Filipino folk song. The song was originally a farmer's fret after they planted rice. It was a lively song to relieve stress from farming. But now, the song did not pose any liveliness, but it gave both of them, a haunted atmosphere.

"Planting rice is never fun, bent from morn to set of sun.

Cannot stand and cannot sit; cannot rest a little bit

Oh, my back is like to break; oh, my bones with dampness ache,

And my legs are numb and set from soaking in the wet. ...????????????"

The group of headless people stopped in front of where Zion and Harvey stayed in. They were moving towards the small wooden gate.

Harvey quickly moved far away from the door. He sweated and trembled while he went back to the bunk where he slept.

"You, see.", Zion asked mockingly.

"I have the sight. I a..m ... just a little shocked when I saw it. But I am... not afraid of them.", Harvey stammered.

"Really? Well, let see.", Zion challenged him.

"What do you want to do, huh? Don't challenge me. I am not a fond of jokes.", Harvey was intimidated.

Zion watched Harvey through the dim light of the oil lamp. He was amused when Harvey chickened from these things. He laughed loudly that echoed through the quiet and solemn environment.

Harvey reacted quickly and covered Zion's mouth with his palm.

"What are you laughing at? Behave properly. Don't make things worse." Harvey scolded him.

Outside the hut, the headless people were still there pacing to and fro. They sensed a presence of human being, but they can' t see where it was. They have lost the senses that barred them from attacking precisely. So, they groped and touched everything on their place. Luckily, Harvey and Zion place was enclosed with fences that hindered strangers from entering directly.

'They can't hear. What are you afraid of?", Zion spoke and laughed again.

Harvey paused for a moment and felt relieved. Indeed, they were headless, so they have no ears, eyes, nose or a big mouth that will eat them. Harvey thought that both of them had the best luck. They were monsters outside, but these things can't attack them. After reflecting for a while, he noticed that Zion was gone. He looked around but he did not find the man. He reached the oil lamp, and he shone it in the surrounding. What he saw was the door. The door was widely open. He quickly ran through the door and closed it. He felt relieved for a moment, when he noticed a figure. He rose the oil lamp to illuminate the hut. But he froze when he saw one of the monsters was now inside the room. The monster's body was facing to him. It was carrying a mattock.

Harvey didn't move and he slowly went to the corner side near the bamboo door. He didn't dare to breathe loudly. He kept his fear from bursting, and he calmed his self. When he was now near the bamboo door, a liquid trickled from above. He looked up to see what that thing was. His heart palpitated rapidly, and his body was shivering. He wanted to shout for help, but he can't open his mouth. The thing above was a head with eerie eyes staring at him. Its mouth was wide open with a hanging tongue. That mouth was hungry.

Harvey was all alone since Zion suddenly gone from nowhere. He closed his eyes and breathed. He put the oil lamp below his feet, and he clasped his hand. He prayed, "God help me. The thing in this world scares me enough. Help me to forget these things. Help me to call for the sun. " He prayed earnestly with eyes closed hoping for some miracle. He didn't dare to move.
