Chapter 6: CHAPTER VI: The Real World

Harvey was now in his room. The weird things that appeared in his place were gone. His place returned to normal as it was before.

He approached the window, and he looked outside. He saw the landlord planting flowers in the garden.

He smiled because he can now smell the air and he had now the peace of mind. 

While he was looking outside, a voice suddenly spoke.

"Hi!"

Harvey turned his head. His heart beat faster when he saw the man in black again. He did not know how to interact with this man after the experience in the netherworld. He ignored the man and walked towards the kitchen. The atmosphere in the room was serious. But this man wearing black leather was now making fun.

"Naughty. Am I not handsome enough to not be noticed, huh?", Zion mocked.

"Scram," Harvey shouted from the kitchen. He can't hold his anger anymore. He wanted to punch the man to make the things done. But he had no courage to hurt this stranger.

"Oh, you don't want me to eat with you. Okay, then I will sleep with you tonight.", Zion continued.

While busy making sandwiches in the kitchen, Harvey heard this nonsense. He stopped and went out of the kitchen. He was angry but he hid it. He slowly walked to the sofa where Zion sit.  

Zion was surprised when Harvey seated beside him.

"Oh, I think you will ignore me forever.", Zion said.

"Could you shut up your horny mouth?", Harvey faced Zion.

Zion was amused by this terror maiden since this was his first time guarding a man in the netherworld.  A man that was impassive and apathetic but concealing his fear. Zion stood up when he noticed Harvey's picture on the table. In the photo frame, Harvey was smiling with cute dimples. 

"You're handsome, huh? I did not notice that you have two dimples. I want to kiss it, can I? HAHAHA.", Zion gagged while watching the photo on the round table.

"......"

"Oh, I am just curious. Do you have a girlfriend?", Zion asked.

"......". Harvey was still silent and unmoved. He totally ignored the man who was talking to him. Zion went bored while talking to mute, so he picked some fruit in the basket and bit it soundly.

"Well, if you don't want to tell, then I will. You know this is my first time guarding a male in the netherworld. I have guarded twenty women in the netherworld in the past. One woman died in there."

"Why were you so concerned about me? Are you a human like me?", Harvey asked solemnly.

Zion: "I am just protecting people. And we were humans that were bound to death, but we passed it. "

"You passed it? What does it mean?", Harvey interrogated.

"Well, let's not talk about it. It was a long story. I vaguely remembered it anymore. Let's talk about the future for now.", Zion seated beside Harvey. 

Harvey: "I want to know it. Just a little information."

Zion sighed and watched the apple he ate. The past was very sentimental to him, he cannot easily share it with other people. So, he just changed the topic. "Oh, there was a worm in the apple. Your apple was rotten. I even ate it."

"Can you stop joking around? Could you talk seriously?", Harvey grabbed the apple from Zion's hand and searched for the worm but there was no worm. This man was a jokester. Harvey laughed. Zion noticed him so he laughed too.

HAHAHAHA!

It was late afternoon when there was a downpour. The rain was so heavy, so he asked Zion to stay.

"You have a home?", Harvey was now in a calm state, so he casually asked Zion.

"I just live in the thin air. I live wherever my client lives."

"Then, would you live with me?", Harvey was embarrassed to say but he did say it.

"Haha, alright. I have no girlfriend then. Luckily, I will have my boyfriend. Haha.", Zion bantered and moved beside Harvey.

Harvey rolled his eyes. He was fooled by this quick-witted keeper that always kidding around him. He will need to habituate this kind of behavior forever since this man said, "he was a keeper".

"Okay, then. You can say whatever you want. But don't piss me off again.", Harvey reminded the man.

"What things will piss you off?"

"Nosiness."

"Well, I do not need to ask then since I know you more than you know yourself.", 

Harvey was suddenly reminded of his vacation. He had a seven-day vacation and now he had five days left. So, he quickly found his phone and called for a travel agency. He booked a plane ticket for the trip.

"I will go for a vacation. You can stay here until you die." Harvey told Zion.

"Naughty. You will leave me here. You abandon me again."

"Then find a place where you can enjoy to death".

"You were always talking death. This is my first official day meeting with you. Can you consider it for a moment? Tsk. You have a kind of behavior, you get mad easily." Zion expressed his feeling.

"You will need to habituate with it. You will be living with me now. Don't be surprised anymore."

While they were arguing, there was a knock on the door. Harvey opened it and he was taken aback.

"Bro, why you were surprised?", Harvey's friend spoke while carrying a large box.

Harvey's friend entered and quickly put the large box above the table. He was seated on the sofa, and he did not even notice Zion who was in the other side reading a book.

"What's that?", Harvey pointed to the large box and asked.

"Alcohols. Let's celebrate."

"Oh, my boyfriend doesn't drink alcohol. That will kill him.", Zion interrupted and smiled at the man.

Harvey's friend was amazed when he heard the word 'boyfriend'. He blinked for a moment and turned to look at Harvey who was now glaring at Zion.

"Bro, you misunderstood. He was a comedian. He loves to joke around. Just ignore him", Harvey defended.

"That man, he doesn't look like a comedian. He looks like a star.", Harvey's friend insisted.

Zion stood up to shake hands with Harvey's friend. He was very friendly that even he can casually talk with some strangers.

"Hi, I am Zion. You?"

"Just call me John. Harvey's childhood friend. Umm... are you his boyfriend?" 

Zion laughed loudly. He can't believe that Harvey's friend was a fool.

"umm... Why you are laughing?", John asked.

Zion pointed to Harvey who was on the right side of the sofa. "Look at him. His ears flushed." John looked at Harvey with a complicated expression. Harvey was very irritated. He was always the victim of this lunatic.

"Harvey, are you alright?", John said.

Harvey can't bear this foolishness and he decided to go outside. He needed to avoid this lunatic who always embarrassed him in front of the people. He went out and seated on the porch and watched the gardener who was sitting on the bench while waiting for the rain to stop. The gardener looked at him and smiled. 

Back in Harvey's room, John was confused so he asked Zion, "Is he alright? This is the first time, I saw him flushed like that."

"Really?"

"He was a virgin.", John told and smiled.

"He hasn't any girlfriend before?", Zion was curious.

"I told him to try but he's very sensitive about love. Well, I don't know what his type."

"Oh."

"I am just surprised that you said you are his boyfriend. Is it real?", John can't move on about this controversy.

"Indeed."

"How did you win him? He's very picky. Well, I understand then, you used your appeal towards him, right?"

Zion and John were casually talking while watching TV.

The rain yet still pouring down. And Harvey was getting cold, so he went back to the room. He saw the two people in the living room chatting about things. He just continued to ignore and walked like there was nobody in there. 

"Harvey.", John called him.

"What's the matter? Are you done backstabbing me?", Harvey replied coldly.

He ignored the two and went to his bedroom to sleep. He lay down in bed while staring at the ceiling. After a while, he fell asleep.
