Chapter 26: Chapter 25

Class had just been dismissed and Minori went to speak to Genji when he was alone.

Genji has a crush on Minori so he will most likely listen to her over anybody else

I decided to leave the classroom in order to give them some privacy

---Genji's Hisoka's pov

Huh? Minori is speaking to me, usually she just sticks to Dante. Is he throwing me an assist here? If so, then thank you bro

Minori is so pretty. I just want to hold her right now.

"So, Genji, I have always been meaning to hang out with you for a while now"

REALLY? Alright let me keep my calm now.

In a nonchalant voice, I replied, "Never really noticed"

Minori giggled then said, "Come on let's walk"

I nodded my head and left the classroom with her.

Does this count as a date? If not, I am still counting it.

Minori then said "So Dante told me about your crush on me and that I should consider it because you're a good guy"

I stuttered out, "H--e did?"

Minori nodded her head and smile

Dante Sato, you are the bestest friend a man could ever hope for. I will buy you a drink for this

Minori and I continued walking until we ended up in the café

She entered it and I followed her

There were a bunch of school couples there but who knows maybe we'll be us soon

She stood in line looking majestic as ever.

"You can get whatever, I am paying"

Minori looked at me, her breath-taking onyx black eyes just mesmerizing me, "Are you sure?"

I patted my left pants pocket which had my wallet and said "Yup"

She ordered an affogato, something I would expect from a girl like her

We then took our seats, and she used a spoon to pierce the affogatos delicious smelling structure.

She sat there quiet, just savoring the taste of there.

I decided to break the silence, "So Minori what's your favorite color?"

I read in this dating book that color psychology can help determine a person's personality

"Hmm let's see, I would say that it's blue"

Bluee? Think Genji think, what did the book say about blue? Screw it blue is known as a calming color so I'm going with that

"Oh, for real? That mine as well"

Minori's eyes lit up again, "That's amazing, it's like we're on the same wavelength right now"

I was so happy to hear that. Still can't believe that she is actually speaking to me. She seems as if she barely acknowledged my existence before and now things are finally looking up but damn it I am running out of things to say.

Minori then checked her phone.

Dang it, she's probably thinking that I am boring or something.

Minori stood up, "Shall we continue our walk?"

Huhhhhh? She wants to spend more time with me.

"Su--re"

We both continued to walk, she stood close to me. Her scent was something sweet and her long dark peach hair smelt like honey.

This girl is truly a work of art and the woman of my dreams.

She then asked, "Genji what do you want if our class wins the three-year war with the other classes?"

I thought about it for a bit, "Umm I would probably ask for a fully paid scholarship to a sports university and get a degree in sports science.

Maybe become a sports coach or a personal trainer. I believe I have the potential and charisma for it"

Minori smiled, "I can actually see you doing that. So, you have my full support"

"I didn't even mean to get the class at a disadvantage by fighting with those students, but they got under my skin. I am such an idiot"

Minori replied "What done is done"

After around 1o minutes of walking, we were at the center area of the campus

A short, silver hair girl called out to Minori

Minori excused herself to meet with her for a brief conversation

I noticed that the area we were standing next to, was basically our school's very own make out point

Ohhhh we're about to get some more alone time. My excitement was at my peek now.

I decided to scope out the area to make sure we would have some privacy

Then I felt somebody walking behind me.

"Look Satoshi, the punching bag is on a date"

Crap it’s the two students from before. I should try to deescalate it before anything worse happens

"Look guys, we don't have to do this"

The other male student replied, "A birdie said that you wanted a rematch so here we are"

"Huh I wanted a rematch?"

The male student who was called Satoshi said "Don't play dumb right Shiro"

Shiro laughed and pushed me, "If you bow before us right now. Then we won't whoop you in front of your lady friend"

Damn it. If Minori sees this she will think I am weak

My blood started to boil, and I swung on Shiro,

My punch connected to his left side of his face, and he fell down.

Satoshi tackled me by my waist and threw me down as well.

Both students started to pound on me with a fury of stomps

I used my hands to shield my head as the onslaught continued

Shiro pinned my hands down as Satoshi delivered some heavy punches to my face

I hoped that somebody would come to my rescue

Satoshi said, "Don't even think somebody is going to help you"

"Leave him alone. Somebody help!" said a voice

It was Minori rushing to my aid

Shiro jeered and said "Oh your little girlfriend making an appearance isn't going to help"

More people started to come into the area as they heard Minori's voice

They were witnessing the two students beating me into the ground.

Satoshi said "Let's scram there are too many people around now" then left with Shiro

Minori helped me up then asked, "Are you ok?"

I wiped some blood from off my lip and said "I am fine. I didn't even do anything this time and they attacked me. If I report it, they won't

believe me, and I doubt these students will be witnesses"

Minori said "You're right but we should get you to the nurse's office"

---Dante Kaneko's pov

I looked at my phone screen and saw a text from Minori telling me that she is accompanying Genji to the nurse's office.

After sending something from my phone to another person.

Asuka approached me, "Was that totally necessary? he could have been seriously injured you know?"

Putting my phone back into my pocket, "It was the only way to secure evidence within the given time constraint. Also, this dual honey trap which I set up was Genji's punishment for his recklessness and also a way to counter class 1-1's attempt to kick us while we were down"

Asuka turned her head to me, "So wait you were the person who orchestrated the entire mess at the last clash? Just know because of your actions I am stuck in a class with a monarchy like leadership"

"So, what if I did?"

Asuka turned her entire body towards me, "Let me tell you my stipulation"

I replied, "I'm listening"

"I want you to crush class 1-3 completely and if you refuse then I'll tell everybody what happened here"

Staring at her with my cold eyes, "If you tell anybody what happened then you'll have to reveal your involvement"

She replied, "All I have to say is that you threatened me into it persuading Satoshi and Shiro Iseri into fighting Genji Hisoka. After all a woman's word is more believable than a man's word in these situations"

I chuckled, “You maybe right there”, I then pulled out my phone again and played an audio recording of us discussing the plans at the restaurant.

Asuka paused when she heard it

“You really think that I would really broker a deal without having insurance especially when dealing with an unfamiliar person? Just know that if you say anything then I will expose your request to Jean Muto and if you think class right now is hell for you. Then you won't be prepared for what they would do to a traitor"

Asuka gritted her teeth, “So you never trusted me in the first place”

In a harsh tone, I replied “Trust is earned but I do admire your gutsiness. If you formally request it then I will consider”

Asuka clenched her fists as she spoke through gritted teeth

“Will you crush class 1-3 for me?”

I smirked and said “If I do then you’ll owe me one”

Miss Aiko walked into class and said “Well the principal’s decision has been overturned and class 1-4 has been freed of the penalty”
Everybody was shocked including Genji

“Wait why did they do it?”

Miss Aiko took her seat, “A video of a fight between Genji and the two students was recorded and sent to the principal who determined based on new evidence that class 1-1 students were the original aggressors. So, the principal reversed the penalty making class 1-4 the one who will receive half of class 1-1’s next acquired points”

There was excited murmuring among the students

Sena said “Genji's a lucky man because we were planning on hanging him by his toes”

Yogi said “Alright guys we know what must be done now. The next clash class we need to get first place in order to take full advantage"

After class was dismissed, Miss Aiko asked me to stay back again under the impression that she was going to lecture me about late coming.

“So, Kaneko you did it again. You keep living up to your past reputation in the workshop”

I glared at her, “Never knew I had one but that’s so nice to know”

“Keep it up and I just might actually get you an award”

“Oh gee, that sounds thrilling but if that’s all I’ll be taking my leave”

After leaving the classroom, Minori stood outside waiting for me

“Minori you don't seemed pleased about the way the situation was handled"

She twisted her left with the left side, "I wish there was another way that didn't include violence"

I glared at her, "That soft way of thinking will get you nowhere. Nothing is off the table when it comes to achieving victory"

She looked at me, "You got the results that you wanted, now what will you do?"

I replied, “Class 1-1 is still our biggest threat along with class 1-2 but something else requires my attention so you are required to work with Yogi to secure victory for class 1-4 in the next upcoming class clash”

Minori said, “I don’t see why I have to work with him”

“Think of it as an internship, after all I do plan on making you leader so you can achieve your own goal plus afterwards, I can go back to not having to try therefore enjoying a carefree school life”

I guess my plans of having Yogi further implode the class will have to be put on hold along with the reshaping of Minori. Right now, my attention needs to be elsewhere to avoid this upcoming storm.
