Creeping down the street, a dark haired young man was thinking about the events that had just transpired. He had been at school, sitting in his midroom seat tapping his pencil out of boredom, when the sky began to darken. If that wasn't enough to gather everyone's attention, the booming, sultry voice reverberating across the entire planet surely was.

"Greetings, mortals, " rang the voice, "I am the great Lucifer Archvice! Lord of hell! I have come to inform you of your impending doom! If I am not mistaken, your myths would call this… Armageddon? Yes, I believe that's right."

The voice then paused as the young man heard screams from behind him. As he turned around so quickly he could have gotten whiplash, the young man saw one of his classmates bisected at the waist, their lower half slowly creeping down the throat of a grotesque demon. It had horns protruding from its long flattened head, and a two-inch long underbite.

Dripping from its mouth was a viscous black liquid mixed with all the blood and urine from the now shredded lower half in its maw.

'Fuck!,' he thought at the sight, 'What the hell is that thing?'

Luckily for him, he was knocked out of his tense stupor by his teacher, Mr. Wilkons, pushing past him in an attempt to tackle the creature. “RUN,” he screamed at the class as he knocked the demon down, “ Get out of here! IMMEDIATELY!"

At his words, the frozen class sprung back into action, all of them rushing the exit, knocking the young man to the side in their fervor, when a hand reached out to grab him. “Aaron, c'mon man we gotta go,” said the girl now pulling him to the door.

Her name was Stacy, she was his cousin and best friend in the entire school. The two had been practically inseparable once they met in tenth grade, even to the point where their classmates had even believed they might be dating. Aaron didn’t let Stacy pull him for long though, as he immediately began running and dragging her along behind him instead. Once the two made it out of the classroom, they heard a sickening crunch followed by a bloodcurdling scream from their teacher. It seemed the demon had finally gotten the better of the man. it had tore his arm off and was now devouring it.

Stacy froze at the sound, but Aaron continued to pull her along, dragging her away from the grotesque scene. Eventually they managed to reach the stairwell at the end of the hall right as the demon seemed to have finished its meal. The creature burst out of the room, shattering the wall like glass in the process, before looking around. When it turned its head left, the thing’s eyes met with Aaron’s, as it screeched like a banshee.

“Shit, shit, shit,” Aaron yelled as he tried to run down the stairs with the now fainted Stacy in his arms, only to trip on the third step, sending himself tumbling down the stairwell, the pain caused him to let go of Stacy, who only fell a few steps compared the twenty he fell down. Quickly jumping up despite his dazed state, Aaron made a mad dash for his cousin. He grabbed her under the arm, pulling her limp body down as the creature almost managed to grab her, only for him to immediately come face to face with a far more gruesome scene.

All of his classmates had been torn apart brutally by a pack of 8 small red furred humanoids. Each had a singular horn sprouting from the center of their forehead. Luckily, however, they seemed to be too occupied with feasting on the other students to notice the new arrivals. This gave Aaron the time he needed to escape into the nurses office with Stacy and barricade the door. Immediately after doing so, he finally took a second to breath, with his breath hitching from the pain of his surely broken arm and sprained ankle.

“Goddammit,” he cried as the reality of the situation settled in his mind. “What the hell is going on? Why did a demon just appear out of nowhere in the middle of my classroom? What the hell am I gonna do now?!”

Aaron spent the next hour wallowing in his own thoughts. He waited for Stacy to wake up and for the creatures to leave, occasionally holding his breath and trying not to cry as he heard something get near, only to leave again, with the screams of teachers and students alike following soon after.

At the end of that first hour, Aaron had all but had a heart attack when he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder, spinning around to see Stacy gripping his shoulder like a vice. She was shaking, and her face was pale, but she seemed resolved to make it out.

“Sorry for passing out, and thanks for saving me, but we need to move somewhere else. I’m not sure how long I was out, but if we stay here, I’m sure they’ll find us eventually.” (Stacy)

“Right, I’m glad you're awake. Let's get out of here. But where are we gonna go? I've already seen like ten of those monsters, and I'm sure there’s more wandering around…” (Aaron)

"We'll make our way out the window here, quietly. Be sure to fill a bag with some meds, never know when we might need it, after all." (Stacy)

"Got it," Aaron responds as he immediately picks up a backpack some unfortunate soul left behind. This, however, was obviously a bad idea as his arm immediately began shooting waves of pain.

"Fuck!" he shouts as he remembers what happened earlier, when he fell down the stairs. He immediately looks mortified as he realizes his mistake, hearing sounds of footsteps and growling coming closer at a quick pace.

"God damnit Aaron!" Stacy yells at him with a mix of anger and fear, "LEAVE THE BAG, LETS JUST GO!"

Stacy grabs Aaron by his left hand and drags him to the window. She then picks up the nurse's chair and smashes it through the glass, not even checking to see if it was locked in fear of how long it would take. She quickly clears away the glass as Aaron freaks out, before trying to help him through the window.

BANG! BANG! BANGBANGBANG! The aluminum door seemed to fold a little more each time the creature's fist crashed into it, eventually ripping open a hole that allowed Aaron to see it's pure, scaly skin. Aaron barely made it through the opening when the demon finally ripped through the door, stepping inside and spotting Stacy.

"AARON, RUN!" Stacy yelled at him before the creature grabbed her by the hair, yanking her back and turning her towards himself, salivating at the thought of the tasty meal in front of him.

Aaron, not even hearing her desperate cry for him to run, stood there frozen, watching through the window in disgust and horror as the purple demon began violating Stacy. Only when the creature finished venting its lust, dropping Stacy's now broken body and beginning to rip her apart, did Aaron run from there, fighting back his tears as he made his way down the street, hopping from shadow to shadow in an attempt to avoid any more of these monsters.
