Humming sound

Who is it?

I was surrounded by a white space. There was nothing at all.

I cluelessly followed where the humming sound was coming from.

A classroom door was open.

I peeked into it and saw two students chatting.

The younger looking 'Tama' smiled brightly with eyes crinkling and dimples deepening.

I saw 'younger me' looking at him in awe by how gentle and beautiful he looked.

I woke up in a daze, slowly getting up as I scratched my head, confused.

I stood up from the bed and habitually followed the humming sound.

'Tama' was sitting on the sofa as he hummed a soothing tune.

He then noticed me looking at him and called out to me.

Then, he slowly walked up to me.

Reaching out to my face he asked, "Wanna know my name?"

I immediately replied with a yes, nodding.

He slowly opened his mouth.

"I-Im sorry, could you-"

Before I could continue my sentence, his giggle cut me off.

"Hehe, I told you. It's not time yet."

"What do you mean?"

He stayed silent for a moment and looked down before continuing.

"If I said I was dead, would you believe me?
