The azure blue sky was beaming with its brilliant light, painting the land below and brightening the drab forest beneath it.
Within this eery forest was a large open aired settlement with men dressed in shabby brown rags walking to and fro, completing different tasks around the premises.
Some scooped feces in the dung fields, while others mined in the rock garden; some were even stationed at the front of the rackety wooden gates, an alert look in their eye as they watched for any potential threats.
However, near the very center of this campus was a house that was larger than the others and visibly better built.
Comparing the amalgamation of sticks that the common inmates called home to this building was like comparing piss to water.
Sure, both could quench your thirst, but one was obviously better than the other.
Inside this building, if one were to listen closely enough, frantic footsteps could be heard inside alongside delirious ramblings, "Damnit! Damnit! Shit! Shit! Fuk! Fuk!"
This figure towered at around 6'7 (183cm) with a round plump belly that jiggled with each thumping he took as he circled around his room, his rough footsteps booming atop his fur carpet.
His fiery red hair freely hung to his shoulders, yet there were signs of unkempt knotting along the hair, and the man's brown rags underneath his red fur robe were stained and spotted with holes.
A thick, musty odor wafted from his body, and his bloodshot ember eyes watered in fatigue as his hunched-over figure continued cursing to himself, "Fuk! Fuk! No way Bones is dead. He was supposed to bring the newbay."
The smell of rotten cheese and burnt wood lingered in the air, soon accompanied by the faint aroma of cinnamon, "B-but, heheh," the man bent over, grasping his head in both hands as he began giggling to himself, "that means my little newbay is still alive, heheh!"
A burning red aura began to ooze from his body, the wooden interior of the house entering a bloody trance as everything within sight became crimson.
Dinglll
Dinglll
The crimson red lantern at the center of the room ceiling gently swayed from side to side as the man continued his babbling, "but..." a trace of sanity returned to the man's baggy-eyed face, "how do I get that newbay?"
A voice entered his ear, "That can be arranged."
This sudden intrusion startled the pervert; he quickly shot his eyes to the source of the sound, and there it was.
In the corner of a room, hidden away from the lights, and in the shadows at the very corner of the room was a figure cloaked in a raggedy brown robe.
However, looks can be deceiving as the pervert thought to himself, 'I didn't even feel his presence.'
Yet, the mysterious figure began speaking, "So, you want that boy, it seems."
The pervert held a suspicious gaze in his eyes as he slowly straightened his back and faced the man; nonetheless, the man continued, "hehe, as our goals align..." a green glint shone through the shadows that covered his face, "that can be arranged."

[System... Evolved]
A huge smirk was spread across Oz's face as he lay face up on the ground, 'Welcome back, little box! Or rather..."
The boy grasped his chin, thinking whether this little box was truly back or if this was something else entirely.
"Ho-"; however, before Oz could even check his status or examine the changes to his boxy companion, his mind experienced the feeling of whiplash.
WHOOOOSH!
"Ughhh!" Oz grunted out as it felt his soul was sucked out of his body.
Images rushed past him, far too fast to comprehend, till he noticed that the white area around him was gone, and he now standing in a barren field, 'Wut the?..' Oz whipped his head around, examining the area.
A familiar red sky gushed with greed from above, and the sound of burning crackles entered the boy's ears.
"Is this?.." Oz had begun to piece 2 and 2 together, "but why?.."
Then as if something was calling to him, Oz glanced over at the remains of the cave, now reduced to a pile of rubble.
Yet, even so, he felt something... pulling him there.
Then, without warning, a huge column of golden light shot from underneath the rubble and into the sky, yet strangely not disturbing a single pebble as if the cave weren't even there.
As this powerful beam launched a loud-
BOOOOOOM!!
This sound erupted from above, cracking a hole in the heavens and causing the world around Oz to shake before finally crumbling.
CRACKSHHH!
The world around him shattered like glass, leaving Oz the whims of the void as he fell through total darkness, a sensation of powerlessness coursing through his entire body, fearing for when he would meet the ground and splat to this death.
"Ahhh!" Oz yelled out as his body shot up.
He looked around and gazed at the white endless world he was in.
As the boy thought back to what he had just seen, a subtle golden glow twinkled in his mind.
"I see," he murmured.
Having seen the golden box that looked to only be partially completed and now, after just experiencing whatever the hell that was, Oz had a... theory.
"That light is the rest of the box." he leaned back onto his hands as he stared at the endless sea of white above, "which means..."
The boy closed his eyes and sighed, and he titled his head down, "heheh... heheheh.... HAHAAHAHAHAAAAA!" his small chuckles burst out into maniacal laughter that reverberated through the entire chamber of blank space; however, not even an echo of his voice returned.

He was here alone.
Nonetheless, the boy continued, "which means..." a greedy light shone in his black eyes that now shifted into a golden hue, "I gotta go back to that hell hole."
With that plane around him began to shake, a rumbling sound blaring through the area, "well," Oz smiled to himself, "it's about time I woke up anyways."
And with that...
CRACKSSHHH!!
The white space shattered, fragmenting into pieces and dropping the boy into the dark void, soon expecting to wake up.

WHOOOOSHHHHH!
A sea of flames blasted the creeping shadows away as a sole figure sat in the middle of a blazing inferno.
This figure's presence was more overbearing than the raging heat surrounding it, as the fire seemed to whimper at its very existence.
"Grrrr..." the flames seemed to scatter in fear as if sensing the figure's anger, "that bitch!"
It slammed its fist with a-
BOOOOOOM!
The flames soared into the dark abyss above, and a blast of heat coated the space around, "I'm glad she lost a little minion, but..." it grit its sharp teeth, "for me to lose my right hand as well..."
"This was not a trade I needed to make..." it peeled its eyes towards the surrounding darkness, "especially when 'that thing' may very well be alive."
It grabbed its chin, the surrounding flames lowered to a quiet purr as the figure contemplated, "hmmmm..." as it did so, an image appeared before it.
This was the POV of the fiery flame that battled with the leafy figure, at least before it died.
The figure quietly watched as his minion walked towards "the bitch's" slave, the luscious green glow now reduced to a dull, opaque tint.
A small smile crept across its face, and joy shone in its ember red eyes as he saw this scene, "ahh, I taught it well..." it subconsciously spoke as it watched the minion he had trained prepare to finish its prey, not even worthy of being considered an enemy.
However, before the final blow could be dealt, a bright golden glow erupted from out of nowhere, causing the image to go blank.
"Grrrr." the flames came alive once more, roaring as the figure expressed its discontent, 'no matter how many times I watch...'
The figure stroked its chin once more, 'What really happened?..'
The image began to blur as scenes skipped around, showing scenes of years before, from when it was in this very room and then finally back to when it was flying over.
The figure watched carefully as it reviewed the replay it had gone through many times before.
Finally, his minion arrived and blasted that bitch's slave into smithereens, "Wait?!"
The figure's eyes widened in shock, quickly rewinding the image as it surveyed the replay once more.
BOOOOM!!
Just as it had seen the first time, his minion had blasted that leafy peasant with the taste of flames, yet there was something so small, so insignificant, that it had not thought to even consider the possibility.
There, sent flying through the air, and seemingly as small and as insignificant as a strand of grass when compared to the battle of such powers, was what looked to be... a human.
The figure peeled its eyes at this sight as the flames around it growled in hunger, and so with no options, it parted its mouth to speak, "Hmm, interesting."
