I wake up in a cold pool of sweat in my apartment in Isleworth* wait what why the fuck am I here, I left here 7 years ago wait that means I'm back in the past RIGHT.

"LETS GOOOOOOOO"

"HAHA I'm like the guys from all those light novels I used to read WTF yahoooo"

"LETS FUCKING GOOOOO"

"LETS FUCKING GO"

"LETS FUCKING GO"

"LETS FUCKING GOOOOO" I chant in my football hooligan manner.

"Time to write a diary like all those other MC's thinking of which why did none of them cheer like crazy what losers hmmm"

As I looked to open my phone a reminder comes up

Interview for the best club in the world THE Mighty CHELS at 12pm.

OH shit

"Whoever you are surely you could've revived me a day before ffs".

Stamford Bridge 10/06/2029 11:59am

I run into the hall I walked across with my head held low.

"Good morning Secretary Mabel"I exclaimed exhaustively

"Hi but I don't believe we've met before how comes you know my name"she questioned her eyes seeming with curiosity.

Ah shit I made the same mistake they all do in the first chapter,

"Umm you see I like to keep important knowledge on where I'm soon going to work" I explained hoping she didn't question me further.

"Well aren't you confident"

"Anyways their ready for you good luck"

As she opened the door I headed in thinking I cant believe I have to this again its like all the MC's remembering they have to redo their military service.

"Good morning everyone, My names Cyrus, nice to meet all of you".

"Good Morning please take a seat " Tom the Chief executive said with a smile.

"Before the interview starts I hope you know you aren't the only option we are considering"said John Stockton the CFO.

Unruly bastard if he hadn't cut our budget and then fed Todd that stupid shit when he was in hospital about that retard we wouldn't have lost all those games.

"Now, Now John give him a chance how about it huh".

"So you were at Man City for 3 years with then was assistant director of football for  3 years until you became the director at Napoli where you one the Italian league twice, yes." says John in his tone deaf binary fashion.

"I think you mean the Scudetto but yes " I answered as politely as humanly possible to this zero football minded moron.

"He was also chief of young player operations at City where he personally came to me regarding Phil and keeping at the club and begged Pep to give him a chance" Tom said while smiling towards me.

"Hmm, Okay " said Todd

"So what do you think is wrong with the club right now", Todd questioned.

Man I really wanted to say John.

"To be blatantly honest the board".

"Oi, watch it you do realise you're speaking to the board right now right!" John bellowed.

"Hold on a second John "Todd said in a soft yet firm tone while Tom smiled in the corner.

"Explain why".

"You lost the principles of what we did back in 2022 since Frank left."

"We promoted young players our own ones which were raised Cobham we retuned to the Abrhamovich era which was lets throw £60m at the problem".

"This has denatured the value of the academy".

"Also we stopped poaching there was a time when Chelsea under Sir. Potter was where everyone wanted to be"

"Now we just sign players from clubs who we know are weaker than us instead of signing players from our rivals like Martinelli or Ashley Cole two decades ago."

"Okay, so how and when are you gonna change it". Tod said smiling cheerfully like a dog receiving a fresh bone.
