Chapter 28 Poet Zhu Huo
“Good sword!”
There was another exclamation of admiration, and Zhu Huo leaned forward to examine it.
“The body of the sword is broad, the blade is sharp, and the body is heavy. It has no edge, and it also has the posture of a sharp sword. Impressive!” Zhu Huo extended his thumb, not stingy with his praise.
“This Six-Faced Han Sword is of top-tier Mystic-grade!” Zhang Zhenguo concluded.
Top-tier Mystic-grade?
Chen Baisheng hurriedly asked, “Little friend Feng, is this the weapon that killed the Yama a month ago?”
“That’s right, it’s this Six-Faced Han Sword,” Feng Ling replied affirmatively. Then, he looked at Zhang Zhangguo and said, “Master Zhang, you said that this sword is a top-tier Mystic-grade sword. Then, can you tell me now about the main classification of weapons in the Peaceful Spirit Bureau?”
“Of course!” After seeing the Six-Faced Han Sword, Zhang Zhenguo knew that this trip was worth it.
“With the improvement of modern forging technology, many modern alloy weapons have actually surpassed some so-called divine weapons in ancient times. However, Forgers are still valued because ranked weapons cannot be forged by modern craftsmanship.”
“The current weapon level is mainly divided into nine levels in terms of hardness, sharpness, tenacity and so on. In fact, for ordinary people, a level nine weapon is already enough to be lethal. It’s not an exaggeration to say that it can even slice through hair.”
“Anything above level nine is ranked.”
“The reason why ranked weapons are strong is mainly because of ranked supernatural beings. I heard that Boss Feng is also a ranked expert. Then, Boss Feng should know that ranked supernatural beings can attach their essence energy to their weapons.”
“But actually, the word ‘attached’ is used very loosely, because even essence energy can even be attached to ordinary kitchen knives. The strength of the actual ranked weapon has to be judged by ‘scalability.'” “The so-called ‘scalability’ is the extent to which ranked martial artists will not be hindered when transferring their energy to weapons.”
“There are a total of four grades of ranked weapons: Heaven, Earth, Mystic, and Yellow. Heaven-rank weapons are completely transparent and do not consume any essence energy.”
“Below the Heaven-grade, 30% each for Earth, Mystic, and Yellow. They are divided into top-tier, mid-tier, and low-tier. Your Six-Faced Han Sword is top-tier Mystic-grade.”
Zhang Zhenguo spoke in detail, and Feng Ling understood.
Simply put, the strength of a ranked weapon depended on its “consumption of essence energy.”
When essence energy attaches to a weapon, it would form a certain amount of consumption in the process.
Ordinary weapons consumed 100% of the same amount of essence energy. 90% was Low-tier yellow-grade, mid-tier was 80%, top-tier was 70%, and low-tier mystic-grade was 60%…
Going by this logic, when a weapon did not consume any essence energy at all and could be wielded by the user as if it were an arm, it would be the best existence as a heaven-grade.
“As expected, ranked weapons correspond to the levels that I mentioned. Even though both have different descriptions, the logic is the same. It’s just that this version is more detailed.”
Feng Ling thought to himself and cupped his fists in thanks to Zhang Zhenguo.
Zhang Zhangguo smiled and waved his hand. He asked, “Boss, did you forge this Six-Faced Han Sword?”
“That’s right. However, I did not have a use for it after it was forged, therefore it was sealed in this wooden box until the the Yama caused trouble.”
Chen Baisheng saw Feng Ling admit it and knew that the main event was coming.
He was a layman, but Zhang Zhenguo was a true Master Forger.
Whether Feng Ling was a Master Forger or not, they would know after a few words.
Sure enough, Zhang Zhanguo put the Six-Faced Han Sword back into the box and asked, “I wonder if the boss has any other works?”
“Naturally. One moment, please!”
With that, Feng Ling went behind the counter and took out a long box from below. He came to them and smiled. “Are you two interested?”
Zhu Huo brightened and turned to Zhang Zhangguo. “Master Zhang, why don’t you let me do it?”
Zhang Zhangguo’s eyes also lit up as he looked at the box in front of him. However, he had already quite a lot just now, and Zhu Huo was a junior. Since he had taken the initiative to speak, he was too embarrassed to argue. He could only smile and nod and make a gesture of invitation.
“Thank you, Master Zhang.”
After cupping his fists in thanks, Zhu Huo stood up with a smile and circled the box twice. Then, he squatted down and patted somewhere. With a clang, a shining thin sword was held in his hand.
“Good! It’s as thin as a cicada’s wing and as soft as a spring. It’s a low-tier Mystic-grade sword. I wonder if Boss has a name for this sword?”

“Enlightened Sword!”
“I see the sword as myself. My heart is clear and my desires are not covered by dust. Enlightened Sword, what a good name!”
Zhu Huo put it back into the box and tapped another spot. A knife handle popped out. He reached for it and pulled. A long knife came out.
“Good knife! Narrow blade edge takes life while the thick back doesn’t. This knife?”
Feng Ling replied, “The ring-headed Bull Slaying Knife.”
“What a Bull Slaying Knife!”
Zhu Huo put the Bull Slaying Knife back and opened a small hole in the side of the box. He pulled out a piece of white gauze.
Chen Baisheng was slightly stunned. What was this?
Zhu Huo laughed even louder. “An inch of light awakens the soul, beautifies over a long distance.”
Feng Ling found this person interesting. He could actually compose a poem for every weapon. He immediately echoed, “The silver needles that save the dying and heals.”
“Good name! Good needle too!”
Zhu Huo withdrew the silver needle and finally placed his hands on the chest’s opening
He pressed down after taking a deep breath. A short knife popped out, reflecting his face and his surprise.
Slap!
Zhu Huo reached out and grabbed the Pig Slaughtering Knife.
He did not express his feelings. He just looked at Feng Ling and asked seriously, “Master Feng, this knife?”
“Make the best of everything, Pig Slaughtering Knife.”
Buzz!!
A surge of essence energy suddenly burst forth from the Pig Slaughtering Knife, and the few of them were shocked.
Zhu Huo’s face also flashed with shock. His essence energy dissipated. He looked at Zhang Zhenguo in disbelief and then at Feng Ling.
Zhang Zhenguo could tell that he was in a bad mood. His old eyes narrowed as he probed, “Earth-grade?”
Zhu Huo put the Pig Slaughtering Knife back in the box and sealed it.
Taking a deep breath and suppressing the excitement in his heart, he said, “The finished product won’t take more than an hour. It’s has 99% chance that it would be of top-tier earth-grade, a medium-grade item!”
The few of them were breathing heavily. There was a 99% chance that they were of top-tier Earth-grade.
Chen Baisheng was first shocked, then overjoyed.
A top-tier Earth-grade item!
This was a top-notch weapon that was only inferior to a heaven-grade weapon. Even the Peaceful Spirit Bureau had a pitiful number of them, and they had to be inherited.
And the finished product would need less than an hour… That was even more surprising!
Feng Ling’s forging strength was probably even stronger than what he showed now!
As expected of a Master Forger personally endorsed by Minister Duan…
“Master Feng, impressive!”
Chen Baisheng was slightly stunned. He had yet to speak, so why did he say it out loud? Was he dreaming?
He turned around and saw Lin Pin sticking out his thumb with a respectful expression.
Chen Baisheng: … You’re so fast!
