“…!”
The wicked path experts of the Blood Pledge Villa suddenly felt an overwhelming chill in their hearts as they looked at the skies. Even the powerhouses trembled from that feminine bellow as they could sense overwhelming killing intent imbued in it.
“Who dares to be so impudent in my Blood Pledge Villa!?”
Abruptly, a red-robed cultivator unnervingly shot into the skies, his expression becoming befuddled with rage as he took out two scimitars in each hand and brandished them at the black-robed figure standing unarmed. His undulations could be instantly recognized, hovering at the Low-Level Law Rune Stage.
The black-robed figure merely raised their brows, recognizing that the red-robed man hurling at them was from the same school of weapon arts as they dual-wielded.
However, it seemed like the black-robed figure didn’t do anything as the red-robed man’s scimitars ran through them before rushing past their body. But, what the people saw had them chilled to the core.
They saw the red-robed man being split apart into many pieces in mid-air, silently dying without making a sound. The pieces of flesh hit the surface, and the ones who could see it saw that it was finely cut as though a fish was perfectly sliced into many portions, causing them to reel in disbelief. After all, the red-robed man was one of their newly recruited Elder who was promising, possessing a prowess that was a level higher as he possessed a Magnificent Rune!
“Yo-Young Blood Demoness…!”
Another red-robed man on one of the many palaces uttered with fright. He was none other than Alakyen, a Low-Level Law Rune Stage Powerhouse who chased Davis when he kidnapped the Young Blood Demoness, only to be hurled and fooled like a little kid chasing around empty clues.
Nonetheless, his words instantly made some people who couldn’t recognize the black-robed woman recall her.
The black-robed figure was none other than Schleya, their Young Blood Demoness who had escaped after having been supposedly defiled by an unknown powerhouse. However, during the events of the earth-shattering Nine Western Territories Competition, they knew that their exiled Young Blood Demoness had joined the Emperor of Death’s power and ranked in the top ten, even amongst the many terrifying geniuses that appeared.
She was the only wicked path expert to participate in a righteous path competition, making them all laugh. Her actions brought pride to their Blood Pledge Villa, but how could they even claim her as one of their own since they exiled her and even hunted her down?
Quickly, it became awkward for them to even talk about her. However, she returned with a bloody and overbearing killing intent seeping from her slim yet deadly figure, causing Alakyen and all of them to tremble in trepidation.
At this moment, two black-white-robed figures ascended to the skies. However, they didn’t rise to Schleya’s level, keeping themselves of lower stature.
“Young Blood Demoness, please calm down and heed our words.”
“Yes, please quell your anger. We’re aware of our wrongs, so please punish us. As long as the Young Blood Demoness could return, our Blood Pledge Villa will have produced a grand character, striking fear into the hearts of the righteous path people.”
They went on their knees and begged, repeatedly kowtowing as though there was no end. The cultivators below became shocked to see two of their strongest Elders ask for forgiveness as they kowtowed. They were none other than the Veinblood Rune Protector and the Windblade Rune Protector, both incredibly strong.
They were once Mid-Level Law Rune Stage Powerhouses, but now, they had entered High-Level Law Rune Stage, becoming influential and more respected. Alakyen had also entered Mid-Level Law Rune Stage, making it so that it could be seen that they have improved in this calamitous era more or less. But still, for an elder who has lived for so many years to kowtow, they were astonished by the influence the Young Blood Demoness still held.
“This isn’t about the Blood Pledge Villa and its rules. You all chased to kill me, and whoever stepped in front of me with their blades raised was killed by me. This is my vengeance against the Villa Master, so scram.”
Schleya’s nonchalant voice echoed as her crimson-black hair swayed in the air ever so lightly. However, it caused the expressions of the Veinblood Rune Protector and the Windblade Rune Protector to churn. They stood up and gestured together.
“Then, we’ll take the Young Blood Demoness to Villa Master. Please…”
Schleya didn’t say anything and arrived before them. The two of them turned around and led her towards the Villa Master’s humongous mansion. But suddenly, their bodies moved like a ghost as they backtracked their steps without making a sound, their afterimages still walking in front of the unaware Schleya. Simultaneously, they struck out by swinging their hands, blood blades bearing the properties of wind and the vicissitude of life striking Schleya’s back.
*Bang!~*
However, Schleya’s Crescentblood blades appeared at this moment in her palms as she easily sliced through those attacks, and before her hands could even perform a full swing, she swung her blades at the two Protectors.

“…!”
The Veinblood Rune Protector and the Windblade Rune Protector’s scalps turned numb with fright. However, when they realized, Schleya’s twin blades were already stuck in their stomachs, causing their old eyes to tremble heavily.
“No…”
“This… this can’t be happening…”
Both of them radiated immense fear and disbelief in their eyes as they saw their cultivations seeping away from them little by little. The immensity of their High-Level Law Rune Stage undulations caused the space to shudder.
Blood also poured out in copious amounts as it drenched their black-white robes, the both of them spitting a mouthful of blood.
*Puchi!~*
The next moment, the Crescentblood blades split the both of them into two halves and returned to Schleya, making it so that she killed two High-Level Law Rune Stage, a man, and a woman, without offering the slightest hint of mercy, displaying utter ruthlessness.
“A fitting end for the Villa Master’s dogs.”
She coldly spoke and glanced at Alakyen, causing him to take a step back, almost tripping from moving unsteadily. However, she didn’t look at him but saw a young man with pale features looking at her with incredulity and a tinge of disgust. Taking a step forward, she disappeared and appeared in front of him, taking a good look at his familiar face with killing intent seeping from her eyes.
“Wa-Wait…! Schleya…! I’m your fiancée…!”
A dashing crimson-robed man stepped back, his expression appearing frightened as he raised his hands. He wryly smiled after having reminded Schleya of his position as the Young Villa Master of the Blood Pledge Villa.
“You can come back to us, back to me. I will accept you wholeheartedly as I always have.”
He patted his chest as though he would accept all responsibilities. However, he vaguely saw Schleya’s expression visibly contort behind her veil before returning to normalcy, causing him to be unable to understand what she was thinking. However, he wasn’t worried as he found her enigmatic and embodied the beauty of the blood he desired, still wanting her for her exquisite and shapely body.
But at this moment, Schleya opened her mouth as she spoke.
“Time and time again, I have said to you that I’m not interested, and any man who wants me needs to taste my blade first. However, I take those words back.”
“Why?”
The Young Villa Master couldn’t help but ask with a difficult smile on his face when he suddenly saw her arm swing down on him. She was slow, and it felt like an eternity to him, allowing him to see it coming easily, and yet, he couldn’t dodge for some reason, feeling his blood weigh on his body like a mountain.
“Because… you don’t need to know…”
*Puchi!~*
Blood gushed out of his right that was cleaved into two, causing him to throw his head and release a painful scream.
“Ahhhhh!~~~*
His voice resounded throughout the Blood Pledge Villa’s city, but it didn’t die as Schleya slowly yet surely butchered him, making carvings within his flesh. It was as though it was done to teach him an unforgettable lesson, but her true intent was to summon out the Young Villa Master’s grandfather, the Villa Master of the Blood Pledge Villa.
“Daughter of Vitalichor. You have finally come.”
By the time she made mincemeat out of Young Villa Master’s ribs, a high and mighty voice resounded with calm, causing Schleya to turn her head and look at the skies above the huge mansion, spotting a crimson-robed figure.
